"Upon arrival, we were NOT greeted by the hostess. We approached her and said, How are you doing? and were met with a vacant stare. We said, We have a reservation, and she goes.. for? That was her first word. Very unwelcoming. She was not busy. We felt very unwelcomed by her snooty attitude. (She gets 0 stars for service) We chose to sit at the bar and were promptly greeted by the bartender who was pleasant, albeit seemingly distracted by other guests whom he seemed to favor. The lobster bisque was great. The bread was disappointing. Tough and cold. The accompanying butter was fantastic. We ordered the ribeye with the accompanying sides excellent all around. Also ordered the NY Strip without potatoes the steak tasted completely unseasoned, apart from the sauce. The sauce does not make up for a bland steak. Cooked appropriately, though. The green beans and asparagus were also unseasoned on my plate, but not on my partner 's. I 'm not sure why. But they just tasted like plain steamed green beans. The oyster mushrooms were excellent. Bananas Foster was good but not prepared properly, and the nuts on top were stale and tainted the flavor of the entire dish. We repeatedly did not receive the proper utensils for our meal (steak knife, dessert spoon). Overall I would say it was enjoyable but there is definitely room for improvement. I will return, if the mood strikes."
