"I had a great experience at this Indian restaurant. They offer cloth napkins and tablecloths, and the service is excellent without being intrusive. The atmosphere is peaceful and calming. When we mentioned that we were new to Indian food and had different preferences (my date likes mild dishes, while I prefer spicy), the staff were very accommodating and suggested dishes that suited our tastes. The prices are reasonable, and we left with leftovers. The location is a bit hidden in a strip mall along Army Trail Rd, but it's definitely worth the effort to find. We will definitely be coming back."

"Went here for dinner, and had two entrees to share as well as an order of Samosa. The Samosa was delicious, especially the spice mix they dusted the outside with, and the chutneys were so bright and the flavor was incredible. The entrees I tried were the Chana Masala and Bhuteko Kauli which is a cauliflower dish with Nepalese spices. Both were surprisingly light and the flavors of the Bhutako were so vibrant. Unfortunately the waiter wasn't knowledgeable about which items were vegan and there was a language barrier for sure. He asked a colleague and they brought a menu that they had circled the vegan options on which was very nice, but I wish I had looked at the menu online because there were more options, and they were clearly marked. Too bad; missed opportunity for sure."

"The veg dinner for two is a great deal, but make sure they give you everything that comes with it! Last night I ordered take out, only to come home and realize they hadn 't included the raita, and also forgot to include one of my favorite sauces! : : Ironic, too, as the cashier exclaimed that I had ordered a lot of food! :P The *best* deal is to dine in, because then tea is included, as well as those papadum chips which are not included when you order take out. It is a lot of food, but it makes for great leftovers!!"

"My husband and I have been to the Albert before for dinner and the food was great, brunch on the other hand not do much.. I was excited to order the chicken and waffles expecting chicken but I received 3 large versions of chicken nuggets. The waffles and hot honey and cappuccino were excellent but the chicken was awful. My husband ordered an egg bake which sounded much like shakshuka with nduja, but when the dish came out there was no sign or taste of nduja which was also disappointing. His good tasted great, but he didn't get what was expected or paid for either."

"I highly recommend this restaurant for their quality of service and delicious curries. The staff paid close attention to our needs and recommended dishes when we were unsure what to order from their extensive menu. The downstairs seating area is spacious, with a small outdoor dining area as well. The goat curry was perfectly cooked, with tender meat and a non-greasy curry. The chicken curry had well-cooked chicken and the right balance of spices. I appreciated having chapatis as an option for bread, which is not common in many Indian restaurants. The restaurant has a homely feel. The only downside was that I wasn't a big fan of their momos, as they lacked flavor."

"we had a family event on 12/15. that was our first experience with sankranti. it was excellent - some of the best Indian food we had in atlanta. we're coming back. I also learned that they have a beautiful banquet place that can hold up to 400 guests. that is huge, especially in the area of alpharetta, which is very competitive for large spaces. my firma always searches for space for 300 and it is a challenge. I was told they offer other kitchen in the banquet area, but I personally would keep an influential Indian."

"Aron helped us today with exceptional service. We were extremely happy with how nice everyone in the wait staff was. But the food was absolutely phenomenal. I got the lamb butter masala. The sauce was so incredible and complex i couldn't begin to describe what i tasted but i know it was perfect in every way sweet/ savory, umami from the lamb. Perfection. The rice was unlimited so if you run out you can get more but there's a ton already. I got the ghee butter rice and plain naanwith it and it paired very nicely. Everything was extremely fresh and hot brought to the table. Service was great food was perfect and the atmosphere was very pleasant as well. I walked out of there with a huge smile on my face and same with my wife. We finished with the cheese honey balls. Highly reccomended to anyone looking to get authentic indian cuisine."

"I recently had Chutney Masala cater my husband's birthday party for 20 people and I was extremely happy with the experience. Navjot was very responsive and easy to communicate with, even offering to make one of my husband's favorite appetizers that wasn't on the menu. The lamb, chicken, and shrimp dishes were all incredibly delicious, and we were glad to have leftovers. The delivery was punctual and helped keep the surprise for my husband. The spicing of the food was perfect, especially during the heat wave, and really stimulated our appetites. I am looking forward to my next meal from Chutney Masala!"

"I personally love this place. I know nothing of Indian culture or cuisine more than the average person does. But what I do know is, if I?m hungry and craving some of what American calls ?Indian food?, this is the place I?m going. Tastes delicious, theyalways ask me what spice level I want my food. They used to have a buffet, and then shut it down during the COVID-19 pandemicdue to obvious sanitary precautions and for the safety of all their customers! Every time I?ve come to dine here, I?m either theonly one there or there are one or two other dining parties, which again, I?m not a bit fan of experiencing that, but thatdoesn?t change the truth of how good the food is! The portions are relatively small. I can handle a lot of spice when I ask forspicy food, they still have never crafted that much of a spicy dish for me, I hope one day they do, but that?s a personalpreference! I also absolutely appreciate the kind service the staff provide. "The $18 buffet lunch at this restaurant is a great deal considering the high prices of individual dishes at most other places. The potato and garlic soup was especially fantastic, and the chicken gravy, mutton masala, and chili chicken were also delicious. The dessert was a hit as well. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very polite. Plus, there was free street parking for two hours. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend trying the Lamb Rogan Josh, Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Lunch per person costs between $10 and $20."

"The food is consistently good and the service is attentive. The music is subdued, which is good for an Indian restaurant. What was most annoying during our latest visit (12/16/18) was that at one point, the music was turned up way too LOUD for a performance by an (Far East) Asian belly-dancer. The music was Indianized Christmas music, which is horrific at best. Further, belly-dancing is not very common for the Indian sub-continent. She was doing a good job in handing out candy canes to the customers, while in a red and white Christmas belly-dancer outfit...but it was very out of place, and most customers (almost all were not Indians) seemed uneasy by the performance interrupting a pleasant dinner out. I would urge this Indian restaurant to reconsider their entertainment choice."

"There was this person standing outside the restaurant and was serving gol gappe. Boy I was surprised to see a person literally serving u gol gappe. Saw this only once in US in New Jersey before.The price was $10 for 8 pieces but it was worth it. Asked him for a good place to eat lunch and he recommended the place he was standing in front of( as expected). Went in and ordered chole bhature and aalo tikki chaat.Chole bhature were good but aalo tikki was dry. It had loads of chutney and yoghurt but still felt dry on the palate.5 stars for the gol gappe but not more than 3 for the food served inside.Host was very friendly and I liked the way he treated the customers.Maybe next time , we would try more dishes and get better taste."

"We arrived 10 minutes before the restaurant formally opened, and, were turned away from sitting inside to wait. This first impression was not good. The restaurant struggled with special orders. No butter on naan. Replace chicken pieces with cauliflower florets. They seemed disorganized since their system was down. "I order chicken tikka masala and plain paratha. What I received was probably the most disappointing chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had. It had onions in it, which I hate, was watery, and the chicken was flavorless. The paratha was wheat (again, never had wheat paratha before it’s always been white) and it was burnt.
