"Such a disappointment for our 2nd experience there! We had a family night out to test their bottomless mussels night, after a successful dinner earlier this year. But it turned out into a very disappointing experience: 45 minutes to get the first “dish” out (a baguette with butter) which was not eatable. We told our waitress and she brought another one that was better, though slightly over cooked. 5-10 min later (so we’re roughly 50 min in at that stage), 2 out of 3 mussels dishes finally came, but there was a mistake on the 3rd one. 5 minutes after that, we had our fries (sides). In short: a terrible experience. And as much as we enjoyed the mussels the first time, they weren’t nearly as good yesterday: chewy, hard, probably lower quality or overcooked. But clearly not where you want them to be. $220 for a disappointing dinner, that’s $220 too much."

"I’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for quite some time and she did not disappoint. The ambience and vibe are so cute! I’m a big fan of anything kitschy and the way the cocktails are presented just spoke to my inner child. Our server Rodrigo was so awesome. He was very attentive and helped guide us through our options. I will definitely be returning. Also, don’t let the cold stop you from enjoying their outdoor dining. They are heated and super cute. Get the steak sandwich!"

"I had a pleasant lunch on what appeared to be a busy day. The service was friendly and courteous, and generally quite efficient. The food was enjoyable, though I only ordered sandwiches, so it wasn’t anything too elaborate. I would recommend this place for similar occasions. "this is a fun atmosphere for after work drinks/ snacks. for my date and I, it took just over 12 minutes to sit to be seen from a server (they sat behind a big wall, so that would have played a roll.) we were probably only 3 times total from our server in the 1 hour we were there, and we sat there with empty plates waiting to ask the bill for over 15 minutes. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it had a good taste, but with a bite the whole meat is pulled out of the bungalow. my friend ordered the GF-Bunge for the burger, and they could be the worst we have tried (they ate it open and the burger itself was good.) the rolls shredded immediately and really dries the mouth. I know it's never a great option in comparison to real rolls, but we know there's a lot better out there. although the other food options look very good! this place could really be a great after the workstation, and hopefully this was just a hiccup for them, mostly on the service side. I'll come back and try to eat something else again, but maybe they'll sit on the bar."

"We enjoy C Level very much. We dined outside while the weather is cooperative (a little buggy last night). Our server Rocco (sp) is charming and interacts with clients very well. We split wedge salad and the kitchen adds a little balsamic which kicks it up. My friend and I ordered the escargo--yum. Our husbands ordered lamb. The lollypops were nicely presented on a board among a dollop of mashies. The lamb shank had a nice sauce. We also have cosmo Tuesday and C Bar s were delicious."

"We have been to the Lucky Squire about a year ago and loved it. This time was completely different. The restaurant has adopted an Ap-only ordering system with no hard-copy menus available and no wait-staff. So it 's impossible to ask questions about the meals or request things like sequence of meals, sharing or a pause between courses. There were 4 of us and the meals arrived sporadically over a 20 minute period with some of us close to finishing before other 's meals arrived. I you 're the kind of person that dislikes human interaction and don 't care how or when the food arrives with guests recieving meals randomly, you will love it. On the positive, we could order drinks at the bar when we wanted them and the food was mostly delicious with very generous portions. But, we won 't be returning until they reinstate a normal service model which used to be superb bubbly, helpful and engaging wait-staff."

"Very dissapointing. Saw all the positive reviews and ratings and was looking forward to a very enjoyable evening, it wasn 't. Driveway and outdoors were beautiful upon arrival. We were seated at a window table with a very nice view, the table itself had the feeling of a cafeteria, no table settings or anything, felt cold and uninviting. Ordered a bottle of wine and a glass of ice cubes which my wife adds to her wine ???. I spoon would have been a nice touch to get the cubes out of the tall glass The wine chiller came later. We found the menu quite uninspiring, we ordered chicken thighs and beef Carpaccio for appetizers, the thighs were very tasty but battered and deep fried is not my idea of pan fried thighs. The carpaccio was pretty tasteless. For our mains my wife had the Ahi tuna which was way overdone and dry with a black burned crust. I had the Beef Obie which appeared to be a fancy name for pot roast it was tasty but not for the price.we asked for salt and pepper and when she brought them she sat them on the table reaching over our dirty appy dishes and just left them there. When we were finished our dirty dishes were not cleared, we ended up stacking them and sitting them across the table so we could enjoy our 14 bottle of wine that we paid 50 for And by the way no one ever topped up the wine over the entire time. Our server and the food carriers were all friendly but obviously had never been trained in fine dining service, at the prices charged and the upscale venue the service and the menu need to be much better. It 's too bad because the whole Vernon area needs a first class venue like the Range should be. Saddle I don 't think we would ever recommend it or ever go back again"

"what an absolutely pleasant surprise was that. after a certain joint, whose paella departed, we had been looking for a replacement for over a year, and young we beat gold! the tintenpaella is an absolute taste bomb in her mouth with each spoon to the last shot! and it was not only the paella, the mushrooms, the gambles and even the broth, warm and crispy that we had to ask for more to soak everything! also the crooks and the oktopus were decent. they had a little cocktail menu, but the drink my wife ordered that she loved so much that she ordered another one right away! this goes directly into my favorites!"

"Yesterday, I went to Schnitzel Hub for lunch with three friends. I had made reservations a couple of days in advance, but the restaurant was quiet, likely because it was a holiday. We were seated promptly and given menus to choose from. They offered a lunch special that included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Two of us opted for this special and ordered the gravlax carpaccio, veal jaeger schnitzel, and apple strudel. The other two ordered veal parma schnitzel with spaetzle and wiener schnitzel with sauerkraut. The waitress was very friendly and our food arrived after a short wait. The gravlax carpaccio was beautifully presented and delicious. The schnitzels were generous in portion size and cooked perfectly. The veal jaeger schnitzel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delicious mushroom sauce. The spaetzle was rich and paired well with the schnitzel. The apple strudel was dusted with powdered sugar and served with berries and vanilla sauce on the side. The filling was flavorful and not too sweet, and the pastry was buttery and flaky. The service was excellent and I highly recommend dining at Schnitzel Hub. I will definitely be returning, perhaps for dinner next time."

"This was literally a perfect night for my husband and I as we celebrated our wedding anniversary on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The table they let us choose was huge—more than enough elbow room. The service was 10/10 (our waitress was Katie) which I think stood out in the post-pandemic era because restaurants have sometimes struggled to retain excellent service. I hope Max Chophouse pays their servers well. The food was absolutely to die for. I had the Hanger steak (10oz) with the red wine reduction sauce. When I say it was the best steak I’ve ever had, I’m not even remotely exaggerating. My husband had the NY Strip and feels similarly. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. We HAVE to return, because if I don’t get to experience that steak/sauce combo again I’ll perish. I adored this experience."

"Aviary Café Farmers Park is remarkably bad. The service was very slow and we had a sticky spot on the table that we asked the waitress to wipe up she never came back and we had to flag down another server to do it. I was visiting family in Springfield and took my dear friend to the restaurant for her birthday I was really embarrassed at how awful it was. Neither of us is a picky eater, but our lunch was truly inedible. We had zucchini cakes, which were undercooked and had a very bad combination of spices; the bacon jam, which was loaded with large pieces of gristle and the brie/apple sandwich. It would seem hard to mess up a brie sandwich, but we both tried very hard to get it down and just couldn't. I was amazed that the server never asked us if anything was wrong with the food, since she could clearly see that we had barely touched it. I think this is the first time I've ever negatively reviewed a restaurant, but in this case it is well deserved."

"We had a great time here in the private dining room with approx 15 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space in this room for high chair, parking 2 prams and still enough room to move around the table and for the kids to play on the floor. Food was good solid hearty pub meals, generous portions. Kids meals were great value and came with a drink. The service was friendly and very hospitable, just what you would expect from a country pub. They were extremely busy on Queens Birthday weekend. The staff were attentive and made sure the kids got their meals quickly and that there would be a 30 min wait for the rest which we thought was very reasonable considering the size of our group. We would definitely choose the Victoria Hotel for a day out of the city again."

"Wait staff was awesome. Great service. Christmas menu was not good. Very very fatty prime rib with no flavor and the squash gnocchi had burnt squash skin mixed in it. Should have selected the pasta with crab meat. The best part was the dessert: eggnog tart with gingerbread cookies. Was devine and had it with a cup of coffee. I was very surprised by this meal because their brunch is superb."

"Seems no one has properly trained staff on hospitality practices and good service. Heard a waiter approach the table next to us (and then same approach with us) Hi, so what can I get you? Anyone who has served before knows that’s not the opener for your table… everything was “fine” but it was not a high level experience. Another server who was new could be overheard apologizing profusely to each of the tables she was working with. Felt bad for her honestly, she didn’t seem ready to be serving solo."

"Fantastic food and service. We did wine flights which was enough wine. I had a seafood risotto that was fantastic. Somehow I managed to finish it so I had the warm chocolate chip cookie with a small scoop of ice cream. It reminded me of my childhood, so I asked our waiter, Eric, for a glass of milk to go with the cookie and he actually found one for me. Great experience!"
