"what an absolutely pleasant surprise was that. after a certain joint, whose paella departed, we had been looking for a replacement for over a year, and young we beat gold! the tintenpaella is an absolute taste bomb in her mouth with each spoon to the last shot! and it was not only the paella, the mushrooms, the gambles and even the broth, warm and crispy that we had to ask for more to soak everything! also the crooks and the oktopus were decent. they had a little cocktail menu, but the drink my wife ordered that she loved so much that she ordered another one right away! this goes directly into my favorites!"

Delicious food, grilled octopus is must try. Spanish style fried chicken surprised me. Paella Royale is too salty for me.

Loved the food, and the service was friendly. The ambience was pleasant and low key, and the crowd didn't show up till late.

The tapas are very good. A nice variety; vegetarian, seafood, lamb and beef. A nice place to go with a group and share the different dishes. The spicy margarita made with tequila infused sake is surprisingly good. View menu

One of the best meals I’ve had in SF. Wasn’t able to find a spot at one of the “fancier” restaurants in the neighborhood and found ourselves here and couldn’t be more thankfully. The goat cheese and shrimp dishes along w the lamb were out of this world

fantastic meal on a beautiful Saturday night. we shared a series of tapas among the 4 of us and everything was delicious from the charcuterie board, to the sardels, torta and croquettes. we shared a paella that was very tasty. do not miss the sangria, which went down very easily! we'll be back soon!

Really fun tapas place. I highly recommend the fried chicken. It is out of this world delicious. Batter is very unique and a great crunchy yet soft inside. experience. The seafood food paella is also really good and a must try. The fried potatoes exceeded expectations especially with the sauce that was drizzled on top of it. View menu

Had a meal here last week while in San Francisco on holiday from the U.K. Food was lovely with portion sizes just right?.not piled high but not small either. The atmosphere was very relaxed?it seemed to be a place people went to meet up with friends. There was lots of laughter around us?a lovely place to eat relax. Staff were very friendly, didn?t rush us to leave but leftus to enjoy our food at our own pace, checking in on drinks and that we were ok. A lovely place and one I would go back toregularly if I lived in San Fran.

We happened to find this gem quite serendipitously. First up- they have an actual Spanish Mourvedre. If that's not awesome enough they have a section of menu dedicated to vegetarian dishes- we tried many and all were great but the highlight of them all was a set of terrific vegan lamb meatballs. I thought they would taste just like most simulated meat but was rather surprised at the pleasant texture and aftertaste. Great choices and presentation on desserts as well- one star deducted for a strawberry sauce that just didn't pair with the chocolate lava cake.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
