"It’s very upsetting when people leave fake reviews. You can tell especially when you see so many positive reviews in a row. First time here, and spent over $80.00 for food that tasted as if it were microwaved. Ordered the bang shrimp and it was very chewy/overcooked. It was laid on a bed of lettuce which ended up with most of the sauce. My fettuccine with mushrooms was very watery, gross consistency. The pasta was too firm. How do you mess up fettuccine? The chicken that I ordered on the side wasn’t too bad. The shrimp scampi was very salty with too much vodka sauce. The restaurant was quite empty, but the service was poor. The waiter walked by a few times and I know that he noticed our empty glasses, but didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted a refill or even an alcoholic beverage. I finally grabbed him when he walked by again and asked him for a refill, but he wandered off and welcomed a group of 4 at the bar instead, and started to make their drinks before getting a refill for me. Then he completely forgets about my refill, because of how long he took mixing cocktails, and asks us if we want a refill when we’re already fed up and wanting to leave. I honestly feel like it could have been because we were women. There was literally another table there with a couple who was finishing up. Why the poor service? Very upsetting to go out on a Saturday wanting to enjoy yourself and have some drinks, but spend way too much for bad food and service. This restaurant is like the equivalent to Olive Garden but quadruple the price. We didn’t even get a “thank you for your business” when leaving. No “hello” or “goodbye” ridiculous. Again, please remember it was pretty dead in there. For the amount we paid I expect better service. I would never come back, nor recommend this place. UPDATE: 1) I find it extremely hard to believe that your restaurant deserves close to 5 stars on its own, without family and close friends leaving reviews for you. Also, never did I state that you paid for reviews. This is MY opinion. You are no where near the rating that you have on Google. You have similar ratings to restaurants like Gibsons, which is absolutely absurd! You are no where near that level in ANY way. 2) I said that the food tasted as if it were microwaved. You responded that you do not have a microwave Great! Have a talk with your chef so that you can figure out why the shrimp was so chewy, and why the pasta sauces were so salty/watery and then come up with a solution on how to improve for future patrons. 3) You do not use vodka sauce in your shrimp scampi, then why did my sauce have a strong taste? Possibly wrong sauce used? 4)Your response is ridiculous here. How can you tell me what I experienced? You are being dismissive. Again, reread my review. I was not offered any alcoholic beverages. Yes, you’re correct, there was a menu on the table. What is your point? I said service was slow and the server was not attentive (other reviews state the same). Why order more? 5) Yes you quickly checked on us, yet you still couldn’t tell that we were not happy? Didn’t notice the empty glasses in front of you? What would you like? I was not looking for any discounts, or a free meal, or even a different meal. How do you mess up fettuccine? Why even try anything else? We were already fed up and ready to leave with how long everything took, especially when you admitted to how slow it was. You’re dismissive. 6) It’s not because I was a woman? Wonderful. Your mansplaining, and invalidating my personal experience, begs to differ. 7) BINGO! It was dead. I understand what time it was. I was questioning why the slow/poor service. I PAID $80 for a bad meal with bad service. I expected more after reading your “not fake” reviews. It’s upsetting. 8) Now you’re calling me a liar? Perhaps the goodbye happened when I was already in my car and pulling out of the parking lot? I heard nothing from your staff. You can take this review and choose to either improve for the better, or continue to mansplain some more and call customers liars. It’s up to you."

"Pretty good and authentically historic alternative to the now over-commercialized railroad name-themed brewery in MiCity the dust from which I shook off my shoes after very unappreciative treatment. Zorn is less than five minutes away in the downtown historic district and is worth finding but hit the cash station first. This place was a nice discovery despite coming to and through this area for many years. Located in an old carriage house of the original Zorn brewery closed since the 1930s and reopened in 2015, it has a very inviting and warm warehouse district vibe. They also have quite a substantial outdoor venue and they host live music. The menu is on the slim side in terms of selection but adequate with pizza and handhelds being mainstays (they could use a good corned beef or pastrami offering . I tried the house burger which was cooked past medium how I asked but it was still quite good. It comes fully loaded with toppings that truly add to the experience; however, with only a bag of chips, it is overpriced at 14 bucks. Fries are--wait for it--5, yes, 5 bucks extra (you can close your mouth now. A side of slaw is another--it 's hard to say it--3 bucks!! So, for a mere 22 hard earned bucks you can have a decent burger with fries and slaw but no drink. C 'mon. Seriously? In MiCity? This was a disappointment, BUT, I do have to say the beer was a high point though and this offset some of the disappointment with the burger. They have a good selection of brews all toward the now typical Pilsner or IPA side with one very notable exception. Their Brownie Points Ale was just beautiful with the burger but would be outstanding on its own. I liked it so much I had them can up another quart to go but that was another 15 bucks (though getting a freshly poured/sealed big can is actually pretty cool, at 47 cents an ounce your looking at 34 bucks for a sixer of 12 oz. bottles--C 'mon...fool me once...No, I mean NO beer is that good. Anyway, for about 35 bucks including tip you can have a decent burger and a very good beer with decent service. This does not make me feel like Zorn will be a regular must go to but it will stay on as an alternative--it will just have to be closer to pay day--which means, like all of us, we 'll just hand over less of our hard earned pay."
