"Gringos Botanas is fantastic! While their prices are slightly elevated, they're reasonable for the quality. The food was definitely the standout feature. I ordered the tacos el tule, and they were delicious! The waitstaff was prompt and friendly too. In terms of portion sizes, I found that three tacos make for a satisfying meal. If you're after a feast, Golden Corral is just down the road. But if you’re in the mood for great Mexican food, the menu at Gringos Botanas has just what you need."

"I eat here a lot considering my work place is down the road, I always order over the app. I ordered a salad right, a SALAD, ya know with lettuce?? Picked my food up, excited to eat. I open my bowl and there was not one shred of lettuce in there. I only had rice, beans, chicken and cheese. No lettuce for my salad . Even on the app it says Romain lettuce , doesn 't give you the option to take out or add more, so not sure how the lettuce got misplaced from my SALAD. Tried to contact the store, phones just say busy no one can pick up during peak hours. Tried to go through the website, heard nothing back."

"Stepped out of the rehab facility across the street looking for a place to eat and fortunately this was the closest. The charo beans were excellent and ordered the La Gringa on a corn tortilla. Not deducting for no ice in the fountain drink dispenser. I intend to go back as all the menu items looked great. Very accommodating and friendly waitress."

"This is one of the most remarkable restaurants in Hudson. Every time we visit, we end up trying nearly everything on the menu because I just can't help myself. Recently, for lunch, we enjoyed yuca fries with a delicate aioli, a lovely chicken tamale in a flavorful sauce, and potatoes topped with locally sourced hot dogs, all mixed in a delicious sauce. The food is just one part of what makes this place a true gem and a blessing for Hudson. The owner runs this establishment with great energy, complemented by a charming and friendly staff and lively music. Everyone here seems genuinely happy—both employees and customers—and that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere filled with quiet, delightful humor. This is what hospitality is all about."

"We had so much fun at Blue Agave. That's why this was one of our favorite go to places around Chicago. My favorite was their salsa and nachos (free appetizer) when you ordered drinks. They have a very good margarita. The Enchiladas was our favorite and the skirt steak! We ordered Tres tacos , Enchiladas, Taquitos, chicken tortilla soup. They're all delicious! Our waiter Fernando was very nice too. We had a very Fun night! Thank you!"

"Our server Estevan is a highly energetic and positive individual! He is a great asset to the company and we hope he stays on. The food looked and smelled delicious, however the textures in my enchiladas and house salad were lacking. I felt that the portion size did not justify the price I paid. In photo 1, the house salad was missing some salad items. In photo 2, the shrimp tacos, rice and beans platter could use a mild sauce. In photo 3, the chicken enchiladas platter needed 1 or 2 more enchiladas at the same price. The bathroom for ladies could use some improvements."

"I cannot stand this chipotle. The first time I tried it I believe they left their food out for far too long and I got food poisoning but that is not why I’m writing this review. I gave it another another try twice this week and for one the white rice was hard to chew both times and If you ever get take out at this location at night, I swear to you the platinum blonde girl w a septum piercing will purposely not put your chips in the bag. It’s happened to me twice now. It’s very much not a big deal but even if you call this location to get sent straight to some automated message and can’t even speak to anyone to complain about it."

"I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready by 11:40, but I didn't receive it until 12:00. This is the third time I've experienced this issue at this location. There were about five other customers waiting for their orders too, while people who walked in to place orders were served quickly with no line at all. I decided to get in line and informed an employee about the delay and asked if he could check on my order to avoid making duplicates. He said he would help. However, the manager came over and told me they couldn't do that because they had other tasks to attend to. When I pointed out that it had already been 20 minutes, she still refused to have anyone assist with online orders, despite the fact that there was no one else in line. If someone walked in, they would be served immediately, and I could have gotten my food faster by ordering on-site. I strongly advise against ordering online at this location; you'll end up waiting too long."

"This has to be the worst chipotle around. Portions are ridiculously small. I ordered a single and was not happy so decided to order a double and still had to ask for more. After that the portions were still smaller that what I have gotten as a single serving at other locations. On top of the extremely small portions on a couple of occasions items have been left out of the bag. After many sub par visits we have decided that we need to find a new restaurant for our weekly quick dining out experience. This chipotle is HORRRRIBLE"

"This chipotle is honestly the worst location every time you’re going to want to avoid it. It’s ghetto and they just don’t care about anything.. and if you think ordering online or through a delivery app will be quicker think again…. You’ll go in there and it will take you an hour before you walk out with your single burrito order. You’ll wait 30 minutes or more for them to make it then once it’s made it’ll take 30 minutes for them to actually hand it to you even if you tell them the name on your order 5 different times. Super slow and they’ll just act like you don’t exist. It’s been this way for a long time and it doesn’t get any better.. and they might tell you that you can only pay for your food with exact change. delivery drivers you’ll want to avoid this place as well no point in getting paid $3 to wait an hour for the food then have the customer made at you because it’s cold and took over an hour. Aside from the horrible service they’re just rude and don’t make you feel welcome at all and most likely won’t make you’re order correctly or will be out of things. The service is probably better at Neil Street McDonald’s honestly."

"delicious food and that is it. slower but pleasant service. the child food came 15 minutes before the dinner of the adult. the child had enjoyed afteros for an appetizer so that his meal should have arrived with the meal times of the adult. the personal should pay attention. when a child (2 years old) is finished his meal before the adult are served, he becomes restless and wants to leave the table. we had to pack our dinners before we were finished because the bad times of our meal come out of the kitchen. and the restaurant was only 1/3 full while we were there (4 occupied tables.) to add the insult, I paid 18% tipp and realized after the fact that it was not paid on a pretax meal, but on post tax . why should I pay 18% tipp on g there was no possibility to identify on their debit machine, which I actually paid. look at their bill carefully and ask them what amount they actually tap. before tax or after tax."

"The food was excellent, as always, and the staff were friendly. However, I have some concerns about the pricing. I understand that costs can rise, but charging more than $1 for a scoop of queso seems excessive, especially when someone asks for ½ a scoop on one item and 1.5 scoops on another—shouldn't that total three scoops? Additionally, why is a "large" queso—equivalent to about three or four scoops—priced the same as an entrée? It’s frustrating that a large queso and chips cost $9, especially when the chips are often stale from sitting out all day. I ended up paying the same price for a bowl as I did for the large queso. I don’t intend to dine at any of these locations again because of this. It was evident why there was no line here last night while every other restaurant was packed. Next time, I’ll gladly wait in the long line at In-N-Out to know I’m getting my money’s worth."

"The taco menu features three vegetarian options with cheese and three vegan choices. I tried all three of the vegan tacos: beer-battered avocado, grilled pineapple, and black beans with jackfruit carnitas, and they were fantastic! The combinations of vegetables, sauces, marinades, and other ingredients were both delicious and unique. The menu also offers several other vegetarian entrees and vegan sides. They have an excellent selection of craft beers as well. The atmosphere is enjoyable both inside and outside. Even though there were just two of us, we were attended to by at least five servers, all of whom were great."

"This was once one of my favorite places to eat, but now I can’t recommend it at all. The food quality has consistently declined, and I’ve been driving over to the other location on Beechmont instead. The staff seems unmotivated; they take their time with orders, cleaning, and food preparation. I even noticed the manager in the back just smoking instead of overseeing things. It's unfortunate to see how this place has changed in the last six months."
