"I'm way overdue for a review for Ogawa's, and quite frankly another trip. I say without a doubt that this is one of Ontario's best restaurants. Everyone is always great whether you get a burger, rice bowl, or sushi, you really can't go wrong here. High quality food, reasonable prices and great service. I've been here too many times to leave commentary on every single dish I've enjoyed. So to highlight a few: My favorite sushi roll by far is the Philly Roll (salmon with avocado, cucumber, cream cheese, $7.75). It's simple and always hits the spot. The fish is always fresh, and all the ingredients mix in so well together! Heaven in my mouth. For non fish fans like my husband I recommend the Tyler Roll (teriyaki beef, cream cheese, green onion, spicy sauce, $7.25). You get to pretend your eating sushi without actually eating raw fish. Whatever that spicy sauce is, it's so damn good. My stomach is growling just thinking about and I'm 50 freaking miles away. Don't like sushi? No prob, they've got delicious rice bowls. The BEST is the Teriyaki Beef Bowl (teriyaki beef, steamed vegetables, white rice, covered in Tomio sauce sprinkled with sesame seeds, $10.50). It really reminds me of the other great teriyaki joints in Boise, again I'm not sure what's in that sauce exactly but it's hella freaking amazing. I could go on but I'm not about to bore anyone and who knows who tf actually reads these so I'll leave it at this: if you're looking for funky good food in this lil ol' passerby town don't look anywhere else because it doesn't get any better than Ogawa's!!"

"It was Mothers Day. We called ahead to reserve a spot just in case. Got there. Still had a 8-10 minute wait with two kids. Ok fine, we were a tad early. Got seated 230 ish. Waitress came and took drink order. That arrived fairly quickly. We then ordered sushi. People sat around us and ordered. 30 minutes later another waitress brings 4 random rolls someone had left as if too say sorry for the wait? We thought that strange. We accepted them as we were starving. However they did not end up being anything we were too interested in. Too basic. So it sat uneaten at our table too. We got excited as the spicy tiger roll came out. We started in on that. Then nothing else came. 5 other rolls we specifically requested never came. A table busser was close. I asked him could he "check "on our order. He said sure. 40 mins later. Still nothing. Mind you 1 year old and three year old in tow. Ordered food for hungry three year old too. Luckily we had foresight to bring snacks. (Great lunch for him filled up on sweets. We waited over an hour.... nothing happened. Not even drink refills. Everyone around us received food. It was just poor service and looks like our waitress never bothered to relay our order. I went to Oyshi on Rainbow for years so I recommended them to my guests who were obviously dissatisfied. It is obviously not the same. Sure they gave us our drinks and 1 roll at no charge. Not being a Karen. We offered to pay and leave to get a meal someplace else. We cane to eat. Not wait. Ruined Mothers Day."
