"I'm way overdue for a review for Ogawa's, and quite frankly another trip. I say without a doubt that this is one of Ontario's best restaurants. Everyone is always great whether you get a burger, rice bowl, or sushi, you really can't go wrong here. High quality food, reasonable prices and great service. I've been here too many times to leave commentary on every single dish I've enjoyed. So to highlight a few: My favorite sushi roll by far is the Philly Roll (salmon with avocado, cucumber, cream cheese, $7.75). It's simple and always hits the spot. The fish is always fresh, and all the ingredients mix in so well together! Heaven in my mouth. For non fish fans like my husband I recommend the Tyler Roll (teriyaki beef, cream cheese, green onion, spicy sauce, $7.25). You get to pretend your eating sushi without actually eating raw fish. Whatever that spicy sauce is, it's so damn good. My stomach is growling just thinking about and I'm 50 freaking miles away. Don't like sushi? No prob, they've got delicious rice bowls. The BEST is the Teriyaki Beef Bowl (teriyaki beef, steamed vegetables, white rice, covered in Tomio sauce sprinkled with sesame seeds, $10.50). It really reminds me of the other great teriyaki joints in Boise, again I'm not sure what's in that sauce exactly but it's hella freaking amazing. I could go on but I'm not about to bore anyone and who knows who tf actually reads these so I'll leave it at this: if you're looking for funky good food in this lil ol' passerby town don't look anywhere else because it doesn't get any better than Ogawa's!!"

Very nice and comfortable inside. Both the sushi and burger were good. Didn't love the sauce on the VIP but that may just be preference. It was like a sweet Italian dressing. Will be back soon!

Ordered a Mafa chicken bowl with rice and noodles. Small bowl was plenty. Wife and I also split a California sushi roll. This was early Thursday evening and the place was packed. Good food, good service and clean. Go early......suspect weekend dining requires reservations.

I had a lovely lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious, and the service was quick. I ordered a chicken cabbage salad, which was not only large but also very flavorful. The only downside was the taste of the water, which was quite unpleasant—probably due to the city water supply. View menu

The ambiance is nice everything else seems to be a wanna be sushi restaurant. The staging of the food coming out was poor. My sushi order has nothing to do with my hot food and should not be held until my hot food is ready. Sushi was ok nothing to rave about. I wish you the best in your endeavor.

We love the food truck, the restaurant not so much. We did not appreciate the cc surcharge. I know as a small business, fees add up. However, that is something as a business you consider into your prices. I do know most credit card companies advise against charging customers this fee and some, I said some, have rules against it. The last time we went there I spent $125 after tip and fees for 2 people. Don't think we will be back for that price, we will drive into Nampa and get ice cream for that price.

We're new to the area and when we asked around for the best burger place everyone seemed to point us here. Weird, but okay. They weren't wrong. I can't personally attest to their burgers, as I instantly became obsessed with their sushi and haven't tried anything else. Their sushi is phenomenal and I've loved everything I've tried. My husband though loves their burgers and they look really good and well made. Their teriyaki bowls are also excellent, and you get a lot for the money. This place has become our go-to and we're so happy it exists! View menu

I recently visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a local coworker, and I'm so glad I did! My server, Tamie, was incredibly friendly and attentive. I was torn between beer options, and she generously let me sample a few without me even asking. How awesome is that? I ordered a custom sushi roll made to my specifications, along with edamame and a few other items. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. The prices are very reasonable, too. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is welcoming. If I lived in this town, I'd definitely be a regular here! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!

Decided to check this place out on our way to Peck, and I am glad I did! The great reviews of their burgers sold me. The restaurant itself has a mellow vibe that's oddly inviting. We were immediately greeted and offered indoor or outdoor seating. The flies were out of control in the area, so we opted for indoors. They serve burgers and Asian fare and alcohol. Everything looked so delicious, but I had my heart on a burger. We got a cheeseburger and caramel filled churros with ice cream at the same time. One bite of the churro and my heart melted. The ice cream was creamy and tasted homemade. The burger was simple but was good enough to not need any bells and whistles. The fries were lightly b...

"This review is strictly on the service as the food has remained consistently good. I've also taken as much time as possible to allow for as an objective experience as possible. When the owners/staff are speaking animatedly and with more energy with other Indian patrons who are sitting at the bar--whether or not they are family friends, etc, but go completely silent when they serve, that's a red flag. I was in the mood for Indian food and was in the area running errands, so I decided to stop by. I didn't really think much of the interaction initially when I walked in and was seated, but this question is directed mainly at the man and woman whom I've seen the last two times I've been here. Is there a reason for the difference in demeanor? There was another family who came in and were seated for dinner shortly before I left, and I noticed they were treated the same way--with complete silence. I'd consider this a nuance of this place specifically since I've been to Indian restaurants in Diamond Bar, Ontario, and Pomona, and there are distinctly more interactive. I wouldn't consider this a nuance of introversion based on what I've seen or heard. I'm not looking to have a heart-to-heart conversation but at least have a basic level of interaction like a thank you or welcome. I thanked the man each time my water was refilled, and I also said thank you when leaving. NO REPLY at any point, and this is not an exaggeration or embellishment of the experience. This has been consistent. If you're going to order for takeout, you're fine. If you're good with silence, you're fine too. I'll stick with Curryland in Pomona. That's a rougher part of Pomona in a small and dense parking lot. The food there is just as good, and least there's an inkling of customer service. I'm done with this place."
