"The dining experience was decent. I ordered the lunch special which included kung pao chicken and roasted rice baked rice. The dish consisted of rice, carrots, and a small amount of egg. It was average. The kung pao chicken was okay, with a good amount of chicken but lacking in chili oil and the complexity typically found in this dish. It would suffice for someone who is hungry. The hot and sour soup was tasty and the egg roll was good. It was disappointing to see that some restaurants cut corners with cheaper ingredients. Overall, my experience dining at this restaurant was just okay. I have worked in a Cantonese restaurant before and have had better Cantonese dishes elsewhere."

"This restaurant has old charm with new management in place. Fans of the restaurant need not worry as the chef and wait staff have been kept on, ensuring that your favorite dishes are still available. Upon our arrival as a party of three, we were greeted by the new owners, Iris and Alex, who were warm and welcoming. They guided us through the menu and provided suggestions. We enjoyed crispy crab puffs, potstickers, two different soups, sautéed green beans with chicken and black bean sauce, homestyle tofu, broccoli with oyster sauce, and deep-fried salmon and cod fish. The meal was plentiful and delicious, with leftovers to take home. The dishes were fresh and flavorful. This restaurant is a must-visit if you are in the area, with convenient street and back lot parking, a full bar, a gaming room, and a banquet room for events. The service and food receive top marks. On a recent return visit, the restaurant maintained its great ambiance, good food, and friendly greetings."

"this is an indoor dining area at the end of a strip-pasty. there are large windows that along the front of the restaurant for those who love their vitamin d.It is a smaller location with about 8 tables and the ambiente is quiet and quiet. I ordered the chu cheehuhn, which is fried, which chicken pieces with an orange flavored cocosnus sauce and jasminreis together with a miraculous/smoothing suppe. the supper broth was clean, clear and full of taste. the storms were delicious and did not come apart. the fried chicken was fried in a light teig and the chee sauce the rest with a balanced taste of the flavor would recommend and will definitely come back!"

"I love this place. I accidentally ordered pick up when I meant for delivery. They remade my dinner because it had been a while and they delivered it to me. This means so much for me, feeling sick today and needing dinner. I am so grateful that this restaurant CARES for its patrons. I had the wor wanton soup and general chicken with chow mien. It was perfect. The chicken was delivered hot and crispy with crisp vegetables. Placed on top of the chow mien that was the perfect meal and there was enough sauce to provide added flavor to the chow mien noodles. It was delicious. The wanton soup had nice veges and great big wantons. I am feeling better already and appreciate such a nice dinner on a cold night when I am not feeling well. Most of all, I really appreciate this restaurant caring about its customers. You don't find that nowadays very often. I am wishing them great continued success this holiday season and in the new year. THANK YOU CHINA TANGO BISTRO. I am happy you are here!!!!"

"This facility is consistently excellent! I really enjoy her vegetable roasted rice as the delicious carrots, snap bears, green peppers and other vegetables are served in larger, crispy portions than I am used by other places. They are also really fast, and if I have an order to pick up, my lunch is ready in ten minutes or less."

"Make sure to check your bill. Been here before and disliked the pho, but the lunch buffet and Chinese food is pretty decent. Service is always pretty bad, but I assume that is because the only wait staff is a kid who is always on her phone. Went for the lunch buffet on Monday and was charged $9. Went to the same buffet on Wednesday, they charged the person in front of me $9 but then charged me $10. I looked at the ticket and it said buffet, no drink. I asked about it and they couldn't provide and explanation for the change in price and conspicuously avoided eye contact. I just paid it and left, a dollar isn't work squabbling about. That said: shady."

"My family has been coming to this place for years. My grandfather absolutely loved the Peking Duck and I have to say, he wasn 't wrong. The staff has always been quick and friendly and the food almost always hits the mark. Lunch hours can get really busy with all the office parks hitting the scene, but if you go later in the afternoon or in the evening, you 're guaranteed to get good service and tasty food. Go for the Mongolian BBQ and dim sum menu. Most of the food is quite americanized, but then again, there 's nothing wrong with that. As long as it tastes good, that 's why we 're here, right? The 'secret ' traditional menu has some really good stuff on it. One can never go wrong with some traditional steamed dumplings or pork buns!"

"If you are looking for authentic flavors i would not recommend this place. I should have known as soon as I saw forks on the tables instead of chop sticks. Service is great! Everyone is kind and welcoming. Food is okay and the price is good. I got the pan fried noodles and a hot and sour soup. Both were lacking the bold umami flavor of Chinese cooking. But the entrees were clean (not greasy and tasted fresh) and presented well and was a good portion for the price. The noodles in the pan fried noodles were not the right noodle so they came out overly chewy and tasteless.Over all would I go back to this place, probably not because I like more authentic flavors. But for someone that is more into the American style Chinese will probably like it.Oh last thing the kitchen looked very clean and organized as i walked past it going to the bathroom. Bathroom was also clean."

"Some people can be haters and harassing this newly transferred owners. Everyone has their own taste, this is my taste and I would like to recommend everyone to try this new restaurant out. The service is great. The food is great. Just try it out and give it your personal tasting compare to other restaurants around the neighborhood."

"Decided to take the risk and come here having read all the recent reviews, and wanted to write an honest, legitimate review. I have no idea what some people are talking about, this place is quite good! Not many options in SLC for Chinese food, so it was either this or Panda Express, and I'm glad we went here. To be honest, this place is clearly pretty old and dingy and not in the best location, so it can seem a little sketchy, (particularly at night). We went for it anyway, and the guy up front was super friendly and personable. The wait wasn't too long, and the food was perfectly good. We got the chicken lo mein and I did the Two Barbecue on rice (with soy chicken and cha siu). The cha siu was very good! And the chicken was silky and juicy (if you're not used to traditional soy chicken you might not like the cut because you have to be careful of the bone pieces). It came with bok choi as well, it was all tasty and very good Cantonese style dish. My only complaint would be the rice was a little dry or perhaps not very fresh, but everything else was good. The lo mein was also good and has the kind of thinner noodles, and comes with bean sprouts. Price is super reasonable, so obviously don't come expecting something gourmet or the best food ever but portions were good and it was all perfectly tasty. I'm glad we went for it despite the exterior appearance and bad reviews, this place seems very genuine and has good Chinese food. Granted, I can't compare it to the previous ownership because I've never been here before. I am from the Seattle area where there are excellent family owned Chinese restaurants all over the city, and my mom is Chinese and a great cook, so I wanted to write an objective review. For being one of the few options here, and such a reasonable price, this place isn't bad at all and I would come here again."

"Better than I anticipated. The roast duck was excellent, and my family all agreed that it surpassed the offerings at other restaurants in Boston's Chinatown that are supposedly renowned."

"The service at the restaurant was quite good, and the food was enjoyable. I ordered the mushu pork, which was excellent and came neatly presented in the accompanying pancakes. I appreciated this, as many places tend to serve it with tortillas instead. The restaurant features family-style round tables equipped with lazy Susans, which I found appealing, although the plates were slightly oversized for the tables. As a result, you have to be careful when turning them to avoid knocking over the water glasses. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely come back. Others in my party ordered the orange chicken, which I thought tasted good, and the Mongolian beef, which could have had a bit more beef but was tender and flavorful. I also tried the canton soup, which I found to be excellent."

"Rudest customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life. I have been trying since 4:30 p.m. to order a quart of hot and sour soup and white rice, and have physically walked into the building three times, because I was placed on hold for over ten minutes twice, to be blatantly ignored, not even acknowledged. Worst service ever. And the lady working behind the counter needs to worry about fixing her attitude, not her over-plucked eyebrows."
