"Ok here 's the GIG. As a home town Hoosier here I 've tried just about everything and every diner I can. I live here. Gotta try everything you know! So many restaurants here in Bloomington and abroad are very good. Some are not. This place is no exception! It actually goes above and beyond traditional in terms of taste, quality of food, and home town service. The food here is Grade A. Fresh. From their greens to their meats. They got a connection or something. I 've been here now twice and both times off the chain excellent! I heard their steak burgers are one of the best you will ever try. I tried it today. They were correct. That was an amazing burger! This place is a hidden gem for good food! Your taste buds won 't regret it. I 'll be back! J.A. Bloomington IN"

"The Waterfront restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the service was a bit slow. We started with a classic old fashioned cocktail which took a long time to arrive, but was well made and presented nicely. Instead of ordering entrees, we chose to share three appetizers. The Brie had good flavor but was not melted inside the filo, which was disappointing. The bread served with the appetizers was too crunchy and seemed to be the same for all dishes. The meatballs were overcooked and burnt on one side, indicating they may have been left in a crock pot all day without stirring. The poached lobster was served with the same crunchy bread and was accompanied by a jar of butter substance. Unfortunately, the lobster was salty, had a fishy taste, and was rubbery. It did not pair well with the bread and we would not recommend it. The Austin Hope wine was reasonably priced and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. We plan to return to try other entrees and perhaps take a boat ride when the weather is warmer."

"Delicious! We went to this place for brunch and weren't disappointed. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the croissant, because it was dry, most likely because it lacked butter. But we came there for the dumplings and the normal ones had the same delicious flavour as the ones I tried in Russia. The chicken ones werent as tasty in comparison but maybe they were healthier. The desert ones with cherry are amazing. They have a sitting space outside which is great. Overal, I will go back to this place again for another amazing brunch and recommend that you do the same."

"There's not enough adjectives to describe how amazing the food was tonight. My daughter and I got burgers, omg... Juiciest, tastiest, most delicious burgers we ever had, and my daughter's 15 years old and typically hates everything, so. My son got the16oz prime rib (which cost $16 since it was prime rib night), it was delectable... And felt like we were stealing at that price!But then after dinner we checked out the old arcade to see the new billiard Hall and to our surprise there were darts! What anawesome little hidden gem!!! Will def be coming back every Monday night! Manager was super awesome too, wish I could rememberhis name! Super sweet!"

"What an absolutely horrible experience. We 've lived in town here for many years and have gone here routinely. Today we had a miserable experience because a waitress became overwhelmed with the crowd and then treated us with total disrespect. We ordered. We waited. She brought us drinks and the soda machine was full obviously messed up because the Diet Coke tasted like carbonated water. I tried for 20 mins to get her attention and she ignored us. Then, 42 minutes after we ordered, I walked over to the counter and simply asked our waitress if she knew how much longer it would be. This is when things went downhill. She replied I have no idea and it 's not my job to know that it 's the kitchens . Wow. I simply asked if she could check and she got very snippy saying sit was really busy. She walked over to the kitchen and all I heard coming out of the kitchen was a flurry of F-bombs and S-granades! Then, she picked up a salad and walked by me without looking at me and muttered salmon will be done shortly . She delivered the salad to my wife at the table and didn 't say anything and shot her a filthy look. She just walked away without deliver any utensils or responding to my wife 's request for some. She abruptly walked by me and I asked if I could chat with the manager and she said we don 't have one and walked away. Then I asked her again and she pointed me to another person in the restaurant. When I went to the other person, who was actually quite nice, she said that she wasn 't the manager but one would be back later in the afternoon. The original waitress started griping to me about how slammed they were and how I don 't understand her job. Her filthy looks and her attitude drove me to go back to my table and get my wife and 2 kids and leave. I said to the other waitress ti give me my check for the soda, iced tea, and the salad and she told me it was fine and we should leave if we want to. We left. What a waste. What a horrible experience at a place that usually does a good job. I 've met the manager/owner before and she is very very nice. The issue is with waitstaff and how obnoxious they have been. The person today was ruder to me than anyone has been in many years."

"This place has an insane amount of delicious food like burgers, wings, tacos, and salads. I would recommend the burger and cheese curds as an app and entree, as I would with many other pub places. The service was pretty good and would have been better but the waitress we had was rather new. But the feel of this place was so nice with the bar, arcade machines, and even a curling rink that you can watch people play on while you eat. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner if you are staying in the area. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian salads available. Kid-friendliness: There are many things for children to do here like arcade machines and a giant yard in the back. Parking: There is a big parking lot in the front and if there are no spots, there is also a great amount of street parking spots on the road next to it."

"We have been dining at this restaurant for years, but this was our first time ordering takeout. We decided to make it simple by ordering two Fiesta Salads. When I arrived to pick up the order, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. However, when I received the bag, I was concerned because it felt so light. Upon opening the containers at home, my fears were confirmed - there was very little food in each one. We paid $35 for the takeout and left a $40 tip, but were disappointed by the small portions and high prices. Unfortunately, good dining options in Belfast are limited, so we often have to compromise. The photos show that the aluminum containers were barely half full, indicating that we may have received half portions of what would normally be served in the restaurant."

"However, I also ordered a 16 oz ribeye with asparagus and mac and cheese. Unfortunately, the ribeye was a bit overcooked for my taste, and it seemed like they were a bit stingy with the seasoning. The same issue was noted with my friend's filet mignon; it lacked seasoning as well. I was also slightly surprised that the ends of the asparagus were not trimmed off—not a major issue, just a personal preference. On a positive note, the mac and cheese was excellent. I was a little disappointed when I ordered a slice of cheesecake with bourbon caramel for dessert, but they ended up bringing me a raspberry cheesecake instead. I still enjoyed it, as it was delicious, but I would have preferred to receive what I originally ordered. Overall, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, frequently checking in on us and refilling our drinks. The pricing is about average compared to other steakhouses I’ve frequented. However, for $110, a few small improvements could have greatly enhanced our experience."

"I have been here a few times now and the food is delicious! On previous visits I have gotten the lobster bisque and the trio of meat dish. The bisque was good though there wasn't much lobster meat in it. The trio dish was tasty, super tender and a great way to sample the different meats served here. My visit last Friday I got the New York steak with mashed potato and garlic green beans. The steak was tender and cooked just right. The brandy cream sauce was to die for. Oh and the flourless chocolate cake and tiramisu are also good too."

"I visited the Gerst Haus for the first time this past Monday. Enjoyed the atmosphere full of hardwoods and nostalgia. The wiener schnitzel, glazed carrots and German fried potatoes were served promptly and piping hot. The mild rye bread was also delish. What I may have enjoyed most was my fish bowl of Paulaner bier. They had a very jive selection of German geers, Haus beer and some local microbrewery choices. Definitely worth and stop."

"This is one of the best WeWork locations I've visited recently. It features great spaces, friendly staff, and reliable keycard access, along with a variety of drink and food options. With four floors available, I never had trouble finding a desk or a phone booth. The WiFi was strong, and there were plenty of power outlets."

"We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner with family. Server was attentive, pleasant, and professional. We generally ate on the lighter side and enjoyed French Onion soup and Pear Salad, both of which I sampled and thought were very good. My family members asked for additional dressing which either means it was a little light on the dressing or they just really liked the dressing and wanted more or both. I ordered the Rigatoni which had a sauce that was not excessively heavy. We asked for some bread which they had and brought out some very good warmed dinner rolls but didn’t provide without asking. The atmosphere is perfect for the holidays or a nice occasion. Most meals are going to be $40 plus given the nature of the restaurant. This is above my usual budget so this is strictly a holiday/special occasion restaurant for me personally and I thought it was very good for that. Money aside, while it was very nice and enjoyable. it wouldn’t be a restaurant I would go to more than a couple times a year."

"Personally we did not appreciate the price fix menu the day after Valentine’s Day but since we had to guarantee the reservation with a deposit I was not going to leave. Some of the food was good and some tasted like banquet food. The appetizers and salads were very good. Lobster bisque was a bit stale. The steak was perfectly cooked and good quality but the twice baked potatoes also tasted like yesterday’s potato. The stuffed pork chop was barely edible. The filing was great but the pork chop was basically rare. Overall the food was good and the service was great but I did not feel like I got what I for at this price point."

"I visited this restaurant with my husband for a casual meal, and we ordered the wagyu patty melt and the lamb chops. Both dishes were excellent! The wagyu patty melt was packed with flavor, and I particularly enjoyed the grilled onions and mushrooms on top. The lamb chops were also quite delightful, cooked perfectly to our request for medium doneness. The service was attentive and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place for a great casual meal, especially for families!"
