"Went to Buzz's Monday 11 July for lunch and was very satisfied with the experience. We sat in a corner against the table presidents Clinton and Obama when they visited Buzz. There was a sign at the entrance to expect delays due to reduced staff, but we did not notice any delay in taking beverage orders, food orders or delivery of our orders. I had one of Buzz signature burgers and pommes and the Fiance had the artichoke surprise, spring rolls with salad wrap and Calamari steak. Kudos to Buzz's for mint with the spring rolls. It's an almost instant reaction to disappoint if I have to eat spring rolls or summer rolls without a bit of coin. The Calamari Steak was also very good. The thick squid steak was chewed and fried and cooked, so that the squid was tender and slightly baked and the baked crust was crispy and did not fall off at any point. You can also taste a hint of Italian spices in the crust. The capers were a nice touch and well paired with lemon. The burger was also a good burger I would have every day about Teddy's Bigger Burger if you were a fan. Definitely a repeat place for us and glad that it is on the Windward side."

"Sorry to be honest, but it wasn't that good. Ribs were dry and were burnt. The sampler platter my brother in law had wasn't good . Vegetables were OK .Had several flies bothering us while we were eating.. Might be different on other days ? So it was 4 of us me my wife, sister and her husband.. it was around 6 or 630.. Sat the 6th 2024...my sister asked the waitress about the Mac n cheese was told it was the can cheese you all use so she ordered that well it was nacho cheese thar was in the Mac n cheese..the corn bread we thought was regular corn bread well it had a taste of jalapeños in the mixture..the ribs me and my wife got had no taste of a rub on it plus they were burnt and dry... Just my opinion. Like I said might be different on other days.."

"There wasn't any wait for a table, that was nice. Our server was enthusiastic and friendly. The menu was just the right size and I found a few things I wanted to try. I ordered the French dip with au jus and my friend ordered the Italian sandwich. My aujus was very different... More like an herbed chicken broth flavor then a traditional beefy flavor. I didn't dislike it but it was a bit light in flavor for the sandwich. The fries were standard crinkle fries and we're hot and fresh. The bread could have been a bit more toasty, but I have no major complaints about the meal. The prices were a little steep for a lunch menu, beng around $13-14 an entree."

"I have visited this restaurant three times in the last few months. I have tried the club and steak and cheese grinders, both of which were excellent. On another visit, I had a Cobb salad which had mostly shredded iceberg lettuce but plenty of toppings to make up for it. The staff is visible while you order and pick up your food, and it is clear they work hard, especially during the lunch rush. I will definitely return in the future."

"Love the food here. Actually I used to go the spot they had off of Limonite, kinda sad it closed down. But had to try this location so we stopped by today. It was a cute spot, and food was good. I ordered the carne en sus jugos, i thought it was ok. It needed a little bit of salt, didn?t have much flavor. I had to add salsa and a squeeze of lime to make it taste better. Mi husband ordered the casa burrito, that was good. Wish he got it wet but he forgot. And we got a shrimptaco and a Al pastor taco, both were really good. The only thing I was kinda disappointed in was the carne en sus jugos. But at least I tried it. Maybe it was just this one time it needed a little pick me up. ???????????"

"The lunch at this restaurant was disgusting and overpriced. The selection was horrible, with sushi that was clearly not fresh and tasted like it came from a wholesale supplier. There was no dim sum available and the dessert options were lacking. We had been here for dinner before covid and it was just okay. We won't be returning. We had hoped to try something different from the Four Seasons Buffet in Burlington, but we should have gone there instead. They are much better than this disappointing experience."

"The restaurant has moved locations a few times, from High Street in Moorpark to the current location next to what used to be Hughes Market, then towards the college. Despite the changes in location, the quality of the food has remained consistent. Even though we moved away from Ventura County a long time ago, this restaurant will always be a favorite when we are in the city. The best part is that the same two young individuals who have always been there to run the business are still there, just like 20 years ago. Thank you for consistently providing great food over the years."

"Don't order online. This was from the owners. Online is a 3rd party, they just take the order and pass it on. The estimate of time is not accurate because the 3rd party doesn't know what's happening at the restaurant. The guy said if your going to order, just phone it in and get accurate info, and save the $2 surcharge the online people add. Other than that, they busted their hump despite having gotten our order (we ordered online) right before closing, and it was big. Bonus points for feeding us anyway."

"Today I discovered a new chicken place to eat. I met some co-workers here. We are Zooming most days so it was nice to meet up. We sat outside and ate. BopShop Korean Kitchen is coupled with Vons Chicken which I was confused until I Googled the brand name and visited the website. I am a lover of Korean Fried Chicken and the Korean spices, chili peppers Gochujang(red chili paste), and Gochugaru (red pepper powder). I love kimchi also. I ordered a half order of spicy Yangnyum seasoned chicken. It was so good, so succulent, juicy, and very messy. I was using the chopsticks as skewers. I got Yangnyum juice on my face mask. I needed some wet wipes. All Vons chicken orders are served with a side of radish pickle and coleslaw. I plan on trying a few more dishes on my return trip."

"We drove by this restaurant several times as we were traveling to and from our hotel and decided we had to stop by before our vacation was over. Came in with a party of 6 around 9:30. The restaurant was almost empty,with maybe two or three tables occupied. The host did some calculations to see which table was best according to how many servers she had on the floor. We were seated soon after and it turns out she was our waitress for the evening. She quickly took our drink and appetizer order. It was hard to decide what meal to order, as the prices were extremely exaggerated for the food that was listed. I finally decided to go with one of the cheapest combo that listed 1 potato, corn, a lb of shrimps and added dungeon crabs. The food came out quickly. It was a bit on the bland side and I requested salt and pepper. The waitress brought some salt packets and mentioned they had no pepper. My sister had the same meal I did and the rest of the boys had chicken tender and fries basket and fried catfish and fries basket. Everyone has the same complaint about the food not having any flavor. Several customers stopped by to make orders to go or pick up orders to go while we were still dining in.The service wasn't too bad but it could have been better. The food just needed a little salt and it would have been much better too. All in all, it wasn't a complete disaster but we were definitely not planning to come back."

"This is a must visit restaurant... it's a tofu house. The offerings are simple tofu soups, meats, bibimibaps, and pancakes. One sided menu. Plus 4 sides and fried mackerel. Every choice is a great choice. The depth of flavor created in the soup is soul warming. I've enjoyed the mushroom and tofu soup as well as the ramin, carrot, and onion tofu soup. Customer service is excellent when you need something. Just look up. The soup is like a warm hug from your mom after having a rough day. It's just what you need. The side dishes are cucumber, warm simi spicy fish cakes, kimchi, and bean sprouts"
