"First time here. Nice to have a close alternative to Ottumwa's fare. The tenderloin sandwich plate was delicious, I substituted beef gravy for the white, just my preference. Delicious, filling, and cooked just right. The mashed potatoes are food service style, smooth and buttery tasting, just like in school lunches way back in the day. My wife had the hot beef sandwich plate, and she said it was very delicious. From what I observed on other tables, the numerous choices available on the menu all looked really good, and you can get full bar service as well with your dinner. The pie menu was very long, and even included key lime, but we were too stuffed to try any. Neat, clean, tasty, and friendly. Your wallet doesn't have to suffer, either.
