"When I called, the first thing I asked was, "Are you open?" They said yes, which was a start. Then I asked, "Are your drive-thru lines running okay? My husband has been in line for a while, and there's no movement." The response? "We are just SUPER busy." I apologized and explained that my husband had been at a standstill for almost 30 minutes. It's laughable to think they don't have customers waiting for absurd amounts of time.
I've worked at McDonald's in Florida and at places like Hungry Howie's, making pizzas in a small, busy shop in a tourist area where I hardly had a moment to sit down, so I understand how overwhelming it can get. But at those places, the line always moved.
I apologize for calling, but I've also experienced long waits when placing orders—there was one time I waited 20 minutes just to be told it was mobile orders only. Frustrating! They also stop accepting cash or card payments at the end of the night, which feels pretty lazy.
Honestly, it seems like you can rarely catch this location on a good day. After this experience, I won’t be coming back. As for kid-friendliness, I doubt it—if they can't manage polite customer service over the phone, I can't imagine they'd have the patience with my child.
Parking is also concerning; don't be surprised if you find someone who has overdosed in the lot. A few weeks ago, an elderly man passed out in the drive-thru due to his medications, and my fellow customers and I had to check on him before anyone on staff realized he had been there for at least 30 minutes to an hour."
