"I can’t believe I haven’t been here before! I think the name gave me the impression they only served wine and had a limited menu. However, they offer a wide variety of appetizer and entree choices along with a full service bar. The wine flights were very reasonably priced $16 for three generous glasses! . I was with friends and we only had appetizers. The beef skewers were amazing as were the flatbreads! I plan to return soon with my husband to try the entrees. Highly recommended!"

"I am very picky about Chinese cuisine and only apply a restaurant in my hometown. But while I visited Walpole, Massachusetts, it was suggested that I try out the Eastern Pearl and summarize our meal, there is only one word and that is “exceptional”. The food is absolutely delicious, the taste is decidedly perfect and far exceeded my expectations. Crab Rangoon passes my guilty pleasure and the crispy delicacies with its delicious filling made me visit this establishment again and again and the main course, white meat chicken with pineapple was “second to none!”. Please have a little blind faith in my assessment and I promise you will not be disappointed!"

"My new fave spot for sashimi! Was craving for sashimi one night and found this place. At first I was a bit wary cause of some reviews but decided to just go for it. Got the sashimi deluxe, the salmon sashimi set (15 pcs), and some pieces a la carte. They were absolutely fresh! Thick cuts, and at the perfect temperature too. Haven't tried any of the other menu items though, but this place will def be my go to for sashimi."

"We love BLVD, and we were excited to take friends who were new to it. The appetizer, tempura shrimp, was delicious crunchy and tasty and generously portioned. All five of us had redfish incredible perfectly cooked and obviously very fresh. The cilantro rice was tasty, although not as hot as it could have been. Green beans were perfect! The downside of the meal was dessert it was either chocolate cheesecake or bread pudding neither of which was as good as the first two courses. The place was really busy, so noise level was pretty high, but not unexpected. Service from Misty Jo was perfect!"

"Hands down one of the best restaurants I?ve ever been to. I?ve been 3 times now and the food is absolutely amazing. You could probably pick anything on the menu and not go wrong. "We have dined at Morgans a few times over the years and it appears that the quality of the food is not at the high standard it once was. Even our waiter advised us against some items. While the food and drinks were good the food here used to be outstanding with a focus on local, fresh and seasonal. Overall it was a a good experience but not a fantastic experience we came for."

"This location is located inside the Shoprite in South Plainfield. The sushi are placed on refrigerated shelves. The rolls are regular size. There are options for appetizers too. But sometimes the rice can become hard due to the refrigeration. The prices for the rolls are similar to any sushi restaurant. If you're in a hurry for a quick sushi fix, it will be fine."

"Stopped in with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Most locals already know about Tengda’s exceptional reputation for great food so today I’d like to praise their service. They have the best staff! Attentive without hovering. The food was brought out promptly (I had to actually wait a minute for it to cool down which I prefer). They went above and beyond and actually inquired about my friends name so that when they brought out the dessert with a birthday candle, they could incorporate it into the birthday song. It says little details that make them stand out from the rest.Well, that that and exceptional sushi ?"

"This is probably the sixth time we've ordered from here off of Uber eats, everything was great we thought it would be our new spot until ordering today during lunch to reheat for dinner. While eating my fried rice I crunched on something when nothing should have been crunchy at all. I look down to see this big disgusting bug in my food and realized that crunch was probably his leg and wing and I have never felt so sick to my stomach from a meal in my entire life. Safe to say we will never be eating from here again and they deserve zero stars because this is a major food safety and cleanliness issue. We have reported to Uber eats are waiting for a response."

"We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

"Competition is a plenty with numerous other sushi restaurants in Rockville Centre but this one has stood the test of time. From it's inception on Merrick Rd (current location of La Bottega) to now in the heart of Park Avenue (across from the movie theater) this restaurant delivers on taste and quality. Here you will not find a modern decorated restaurant with a beat and cocktail menu longer than the special roll list (just beer and wine served). Instead, this no frills traditional decorated sushi bar with wood accents and authentic art scattered throughout puts food quality and customer satisfaction at the top of the list. Sushi Ya has maintained substantial portions and fresh fish throughout plenty of adversity over the years. The oldest sushi restaurant in Rockville Centre stays current with a big list of special rolls featuring numerous dragon rolls and a roll for named for every month of the year. Owned by a small family trying to make ends meet they are always very appreciative of my business and I am happy to support them. Great for take-out as well if you can navigate the parking situation (lot and entrance in the back). Sushi Ya has been my top choice for sushi in the area for many years."

"I went to this place on two separate occasions last week. My very first impression was that this place looks completely dead (barely any people at all lol I would take this as a red flag and I didn't even read the reviews yet until today which proved my thought). The first time I came in they showed horrible service to a gentleman who came to pick up his wife's requested dessert order. The lady at the front told his wife that they don’t do delivery and for them to come to the restaurant to pick up their order instead. This place does not deliver dessert orders or even any requested delivery. They only do pick up. The lady at the front made the guy come to the restaurant and he thought that since he ordered through the phone one would assume that this place already prepared the dessert when picking it up right? Wrong, they didn't prepare the wife's dessert LOL. The lady even forgot about it and kept asking the gentleman if he and his wife ordered the Thai food that was already prepared for pick up once he got there. Even after he said “no”, she kept asking him if he was sure that he didn't order the Thai food. So clearly they have bad service overall via phone calls and in person. I ordered the pad Thai chicken and it wasn't that great. It was completely dry and barely peanut sauce. One would also assume that they have Thai iced tea when selling Thai food but they don't. Lady also had an attitude with me when I asked nicely about it. Tried to come again for a pickup and ordered their sesame chicken. It was ok but not that amazing. Overall, they have horrible attitudes toward service but don't serve good food to back them up with their lack of manners."
