"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! "Went there for my niece's birthday ????! Yeah! This was my first time at Yard House. My sister made the reservation for 7:45pm. There were 15 of us. Although we were a little late, our table was set waiting. The restaurant looked nice ????; the ambiance was up to par, but the service was a bit slow in coming. Good thing we had a zealous waiter who made sure our table was taken care of. He took our orders early. However, as the night progressed more customers came in,he got a bit short-tempered. That was understandable to me, but not to some in my party. The portions were big. Anyway, a couple of my people didn't like their food and returned them without a replacement. I enjoyed my spaghetti withseafood and saved some for lunch tomorrow. All in all, we had fun, enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I give Yard House 4 1/2 stars ??????"

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."

"Ate here w our kids and had a nice meal. Kids had a buffet designed for them which worked out great and. Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier."

"Typical Hooters as far as the menu and overall experience but with the added bonus of a large outdoor deck overlooking the river. Plenty of seating and it?s covered as well. When we first sat at the bar, we were completely ignored for several minutes by the bartender right in front of us who was too busy flirting with two guys next to us. Luckily we ended up with a different bartender that was very attentive and friendly. We had a minor issue with our wings taking longer than usual, but she took care of it immediately without us even making a comment. That was much appreciated. Nice atmosphere and would go back again."

"The wings are always awesome, but never order them to go. For some reason, they neglect to put any sauce on the wings when you buy to go. Actually, the last time we ate there, most of the wings were totally dry. Not sure why they're suddenly so stingy with the sauce. Overall though, this is a great place hang out and enjoy a meal with loved ones.Kid-friendliness: It's loud, and there are lots of TVs on (mostly sports but sometimes news, etc). The ladies wear short shorts and tank tops, but that hasn't been shocking since before I was born. I've never seen anything there that I wouldn't let my kid be around. The wait staff are professionals, and they know how to handle kids. When I go with young ones, or with my grandmother, we tend to get seated near other families that include kids and grandmothers. I recommend showing up earlier in the day, because the evenings are packed, and seating can be an issue."

"My sister and I ordered coffee, but it was so strong that we couldn’t even drink it—I think it must have been brewed hours earlier. When our food finally arrived, it came out in bits and pieces. We had to wait a long time for part of our wing order, and over ten minutes later, the rest of the wings came with the remainder of our first order. I was really disappointed; for nearly $100, the experience simply wasn’t worth it. To top it all off, the only acknowledgment of my daughter's birthday from our waitress was a brief "Happy Birthday." What a letdown!"

"It was a busy Friday night when we arrived, so we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, which was fine. Once we were settled and placed our orders, it took nearly 45 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. The main courses took over an hour. I understand it was a Friday, but that still felt a bit long. Our waiter was hard to reach when we needed assistance. On the positive side, the food was quite good. The pizza my husband ordered was fantastic—I even snagged a slice for myself! I had the shrimp with the Perogi Lasagne, which was also very tasty. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we'll see if the service improves on our next trip. The prices were quite reasonable and typical for a bar and grill."

"If I could rate my experience from Hooters yesterday, I’ll rate it 0 stars. My boyfriend and I love Hooters, especially because Hooters play the games that my boyfriend likes to watch. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I had reservations for 9:30 pm. We received our table quickly. Our waiter name was Secret. We didn’t receive our food until 10:55pm. Which could’ve influenced her actions to give us poor service. Maybe she was over sat. Remember though, we’re only a party of two; and our waiter brought out our Pepsi’s 25 minutes after we ordered our food. We didn’t even receive a straws for our drinks. We also didn’t see her again until our food came out at 10:55 pm. At that time, we was finally able to ask for straws for our drinks, and by time then, our drinks had melted from the ice. Causing our drinks to be water down. Since it’s Covid, we don’t drink off of cups directly, and straws would’ve been appreciated. As a customer, I also felt uncomfortable because I am in my 20’s and I’m not sure if my service was bad by Secret because my boyfriend and I appear to be younger than what we look, she was overly sat, or both. She also never acknowledged my presence; she only communicated and made eye contact with my boyfriend. Which I find highly unprofessional because she had a party of two not one. Either way, we both had a bad experience overall and will not be returning anymore."

"Completed an online order at 11AM to pick up at 4:45PM. I arrived at 4:40PM. It's busy but not crowded. The time is 5:15PM and I'm still waiting for food. I was told at 4:40P give them 7-10min. I have had to ask 4 different ppl for an update. The excuse is the kitchen is backed up. So instead of stopping the online order option to catch up, they are still taking orders and still seating and serving in restaurant guests. I tried the Oak Lawn location with the same results. I won't be patronizing any longer with almost $100 worth of chicken ordered. After a 15min ride home I then arrived only to find my order with no sauce."

We were part of a large group of more than eight people, which meant that gratuity was automatically included, and they wouldn’t allow us to have separate checks since we were three families dining together. "The manager Heath was extremely rude to my dad. My father was there with a friend from 4pm to 7pm enjoying his dinner, buying drinks. He even paid for another family’s meal and bought drinks for another patron. He donated $100 to a Breast CancerAwareness charity and tipped his waitress generously. He spent over $500 at this Hooters and was genuinely having a great time.Apparently the manager Heath wasn’t too fond of him being there and spending so much money which is absurd. The manager wentover to his table and told him he wasn’t allowed to buy anymore drinks for himself or anybody else and asked my dad to leave.When my dad asked why, the manager Heath wasn’t giving him an answer and continued to push him out. My dad was visibly upsetand the manager didn’t seem to care. Security told him he wasn’t allowed to come back and he had NO explanation behind it.The worst experience he’s ever had. Do not recommend coming here and spending money and having a great time unless you want toget kicked out for no reason."

"When the manager came to our table, I explained the situation, but her first response was, “We don’t have bugs.” Really? I was quite disappointed by her reaction. As a manager, I felt she should have been more sympathetic and apologetic, acknowledging that these things can happen instead of defensively denying the issue as if it were an impossibility. I never asked for a free meal, nor did I suggest I should be compensated in any way; I simply conveyed that I could not continue my meal because of the bug. As I was still chatting with my friends, I was shocked to find another bug, and this time I managed to capture video and photos. I showed them to the manager, and she offered me a mere 10% discount on my bill—only one dollar off! My main complaint is that the management needs to do better; it was very unprofessional to assume that everyone is just looking for a free meal. I was there to enjoy a nice evening, and the way I was treated was far more disappointing than finding a bug in my food."

"Loved the space, very clean but the service was very slow or not even paying attention to their area. Waited for a beer, they ended up being out of what I ordered and just brought me another kind then told me it was a different one instead of asking first. It was nice and cold and did enjoy it once I got it. When we decided to sit and have something to eat I had to go in and ask for menus after sitting there for 15 minutes then go in and find someone to wait on us. One of our friends told me which server was in our area but I found her sitting at a table with two guys while three others servers were just standing there. So I asked them if any of them wanted to make some money since ours is busy talking to boys. Our server Kenya was AWESOME! She made up for the lack of attention from the other server and even apologized for her co worker. Very lovely young lady. Now about the food. I had a buffalo chicken salad and my fiancé had boneless wings. The flavor was great and my salad vegetables were nice and fresh. But the Blue cheese was extremely watery and puddled at the bottom of my bowl. I usually take some home but in this case it was too soggy. Once we got home both of us have had stomach cramps and trip to the bathroom. Some changes definitely need made but we would go back and give it one more chance to upgrade this review."

"It was an incredible burger experience! If I had the funding, I would definitely open a whole chain of these restaurants. This place is a huge favorite in the community. It would need to be standardized to succeed in the franchise market, though. I absolutely love their burger recipe; the truffle flavor is outstanding. The mac and cheese is fantastic, and the scotch egg is just amazing. The staff has known my wife and me since our dating days and through our wedding. There have been some recent changes, but the connection remains strong. The team consistently delivers great work that never disappoints!"
