"We had date night dinner reservations here on Saturday night January 8, 2022. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation. We are always astonished by how seemingly complex and difficult it seems for the hostess to decode their iPad and determine whereto seat a party of two who has had a reservation for a week, but once we got past that we were seated at a nice table. First,this place is in a hotel moderately upscale multiple dining options throughout the hotel, this one being the nicest. For themenu prices, we thought it would have been a bit nicer if they created a bit more of a dining room/cozy feel, possibly closingthe curtains that are open to all hotel guests walking by whether they have yelling children or if they are dragging a redigloo cooler. There is a nice bar located centrally in the restaurant but an unfortunate placement of a light fixture impedesviewing of the televisions hanging around the bar, we thought that was odd. Still however, we had a great server named Hunter.He was prompt and courteous and all too ready to answer every question about the menu. My husband had the halibut and said itwas great and cooked very evenly throughout. The bar ran out of Woodford reserve and he was subbed another bourbon withoutupcharge. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and I have to say it was the most delicious I have ever had and I would return to thisrestaurant just to order this again. This is a 8 on the 1 10 scale. Yes recommend. Please find a way to create an intimatedining experience in this restaurant and it will be a literal home run"

"First time out for dinner in the last weeks. We sat in the roof, couches are removed and tables spaced, but the same excellent food, service and experience. And we saw a table of that I swear we see every time we go. Glad things are getting back to normal, and masks and capacity aside, last night night reminds us how close we are. "the first time to eat around 1799 and we will surely be back! everything was amazing! we think about the next visit or at night in the clifton, so we can enjoy more of the delicious cocktails. we sang in the library, which was intimate, cozy and a really cool atmosphere. the love for the detail of all employees was incredible. we were there to celebrate my friend birthday and they bought a little birthday cake and a candle. I thought that would be just a nice note. our server and host gave us regular attention that gave us the feeling that we were more than happy to serve our needs. the food was incredible! I had the fag and it was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. my friend had the lamb that was also the impeccable standard as the rest of the service, atmosphere and eating. 10/10 would recommend"

"When the bill arrived, it was incorrect as well; it included not only the extra meal but also two other main dishes. We had to send the check back not once, but three times (even the second time, it was still wrong). The third attempt was particularly frustrating: they had comped the incorrect meal, but the mandatory 20% gratuity was calculated on the total before the adjustment! I understand that not everyone is good with numbers, but I know how to add. I find it hard to believe that this was not a deliberate oversight by the manager. The apologies we received felt forced and insincere. I've dined here several times with large groups, but after this experience, I won't be returning. I understand that mistakes happen, but I don't appreciate being misled."

"To be fair we were here on Christmas Day… however our server literally avoided us. It took a hour (11:15-12:10) to get our drinks, in that time our order was not taken and the waters were not refilled. We were meeting family we hadn’t seen in years for two hour before their flight but we didn’t get to order food in that time, luckily they messed up and brought two of one of the drinks because they didn’t come back to ask if anyone else wanted anything so only three of the five of us had drinks. Great environment to chat which is good because it’s all we got to do. When half the party left (12:50) our server came over and asked if we were ready to order, we were ready to leave. Totally ordered; five drinks one appetizer total brought to table; three drinks."

"Went to Brunch with friends on at the outdoor restaurant. Even though it was a degree day in the middle of July, Gilligans offered the perfect outdoor dining oasis. Serving was attentive and kind. The food made you feel like you were dining in the Hampton’s. And the drinks were so refreshing. I got the frozen watermelon margarita. Highly reccomend for a leisurely brunch experience in the summer"

"I found the Thai Curry Ramen to be overwhelmingly spicy, to the point where I couldn't fully enjoy the dish or finish it. Although I took it to go, had I dined in, I would have definitely sent it back, especially given the high price. I'm unsure if it’s typically this spicy since this was my first time ordering it. Unfortunately, it ruined my dinner experience. They should clearly mark spicy dishes on the menu. If you plan to order it, consider asking for a milder version. The noodles resembled drunken noodles more than actual ramen, and I detected no hint of coconut flavor at all. Having enjoyed green Thai curry before, I was disappointed that this dish didn't carry the expected flavor profile. It might benefit from a side of brown rice as well. I'm also curious why so many vegan options at restaurants here are just variations of curry; it would be nice to see more creativity in the offerings. I’m giving it 2 stars for at least providing a vegan dish. This review has been updated as of August 2, 2024."

"What an incredible meal! The venue is gorgeous well kept, very clean, fantastic atmosphere and nice live music. At night the trees outside are lit up and it's a beautiful place for a date night The service was excellent our server Claudio wasdelightful. Very attentive and knowledgeable and also interesting to chat to The drinks were great I highly recommend the keylime margarita! The food was exquisite our steaks were cooked to perfection and the deserts all sounded so lovely we got asmall portion of all 4! (We took most of that home and ate it the next day! It's absolutely worth every penny. I think I cangenuinely number it in my top 5 meals of all time"

"I visited in 2018 and had a bad experience with overcooked steak and veggies. I decided to give this place another try a couple weeks ago when my girlfriend and I were walking through Harvard and needed a snack. She got a few oysters and I got a clam chowder. Both were good, and we would definitely return. The 4 stars reflects my past review (on yelp) and my current feelings, and I hope to increase to 5 stars after future positive experiences."

"Everything about lunch at Tommy Bahamas was perfect. We ate outside shaded from the Florida sun by an incredible row of newly installed umbrellas. Our waitress was exceptional. She anticipated our needs throughout the meal and even brought drink refills without us having to ask. The food here is always very good, and today's meal was no exception. The coconut shrimp starter was one of the best I've had, and the Sliced Filet Minion Salad was not only delicious but reasonably priced. It's easy to see why Tommy's is in our regular food rotation."

"This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The menu is extensive and well priced for the most part. We were out with another couple and we each ordered an appetizer to start. Mussels and steak poutine were big hits. I ordered the wild crab risotto, and while I enjoyed it, there wasn't much rice! Lots of other ingredients, would have appreciated and expected more actual risotto. Each couple also shared a dessert, also delicious. Patio is very nice, trains aren't that frequent, so not too disruptive"

"We always love every meal we have at this restaurant! The hush puppies are a must- they are the best ever! We ordered the Halibut with risotto and lobster roll, and I can't wait to go back to have them again. The halibut was cooked perfectly and paired well with the rich and creamy risotto. It was a beautiful balance of flavors. We will definitely be back next week, as this restaurant has become a weekly favorite for us."

"My wife said her mocktail was the favorite she has ever had. I liked it as well. The focaccia was absolutely phenomenal and the herb butter was delicious I absolutely would love to have more of it! The burger was really good, above average, I prefer a little more crunch on my smash burgers and the onions I prefer grilled over an onion jam but overall it was really really good. The fries and garlic aioli was out of of this world, super crispy and super salty and the garlic aioli I couldn’t stop dipping them in it. My wife enjoyed her scallops as well with kombu sauce, asparagus, peas, and onion. Overall this was a great experience in a beautiful restaurant. We would love to come back and visit the bar again and enjoy more offerings for sure!"

"Highly recommend this place if you're in Park City and want to take a break from bar food a night. My partner and I got two sushi rolls and oysters to start and we each got the dream loaf as our entrees. All were delicious and presented nicely. The service was impeccable. The server did a good job of timing and checked on as frequently, refilled water etc. While this is more of a splurge dinner, I still feel like the total price was totally worth it. We live in Dallas and a meal like this would have easily cost $50-$70 more there."

"Well, first off all I can say is, that was an experience… and not a good. The only redeeming quality was our server Brittany, and the desserts. However; that was all Brittany and she was fabulous! Now, let’s talk about the food… 3 of us got the coconut crusted fish, which was good and the other 2 got the chicken and my husband got a burger. The chicken came out luke warm, and was sent back to make hotter.. however for what they are charging for the chicken, I would’ve expected better. The burger on the other hand, complete catastrophe. My husband ordered his burger medium, the first one came out rare, like the cow was still mooing. He couldn’t even eat it. The dish also came with fries which we kept when he sent back the burger just so he would have something to munch on. The 2nd burger comes out, STILL RARE! The chef then comes over to the table and just stands there looking at his second abomination of a burger. My husband cuts into the burger and shows the chef how raw the burger is. The chef then argues with my husband on how a medium burger is supposed to be all pink…. My husband kept the burger because at this point, we were over it and didn’t need to send this back for a 3rd failed attempt. They also didn’t bring my husband extra fries when they brought out the 2nd burger not that it’s a huge deal but would’ve been a nice touch to “refresh” the meal. As locals to Jupiter, you couldn’t convince me to go back, except for the service, which honestly I feel bad for Brittany, because if the food wasn’t awful and they didn’t have to comp meals, she would get better tips and it is definitely deserved. They did comp the burger and gave us some desserts on the house which did make up for this in a certain respect. Right now they are doing 50% off entrees for summer and the place was barely filled. Also, because the prices of the food are so ridiculous the “half price” is more like realistic price. If you’re in the market for a restaurant near here, go to Leftovers or Food Shack. P.S. Brittany you were great and can work at a way better place!"

"Then our entrees arrived, but the staff member who brought our food set it down and immediately walked away, which meant we couldn't inform her that she had brought us the wrong order. Our waitress, who was polite but not very attentive aside from collecting the bill, eventually came over and took quite a while to bring the correct dish. My boyfriend ordered a sausage egg sandwich, but after a couple of bites, he realized it was undercooked (pink and runny). When we pointed this out to the waitress, she explained it was just the type of sausage they used. Fortunately, she removed the sandwich from our bill without us asking. During the service, another waitress who was clearing a nearby table didn't notice that she spilled coffee on the floor next to us as she walked away, coming dangerously close to spilling it on me. Thankfully that didn’t happen, but she also neglected to clean up the mess."
