Dallas and Cody made our experience exceptional! Their menu recommendations, attentiveness, and service were outstanding!

The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly to my liking. The service was outstanding, and the food arrived quickly. I'm so glad I discovered this hidden gem in the Hatteras Island area and I will definitely be returning!

We dined there for dinner this past week, and I was very impressed with their offerings. They had three vegan dishes available, all of which sounded appetizing. They introduced a new dish in 2022 that can be made vegan: Roasted Veggie Bucatini. Many of their vegetable options can also be prepared vegan, and they offer two breakfast choices: avocado toast and a granola bowl with almond milk and fruit. The drinks are fantastic. Although it's on the pricier side, it's a great spot for both omnivores and vegans to enjoy a meal. This is an update from my previous review dated August 5, 2022.

I also appreciated the variety of craft mocktails available, since I don’t drink much anymore, though their wine, beer, and cocktail selections are impressive. The atmosphere is a bit more upscale compared to other restaurants in the Outer Banks (though they kindly accommodated my shorts and flip-flops when we visited in the summer), and the acoustics can make the dining room quite noisy, even with a small crowd. However, the friendly service and exceptional food make this place a must-visit!

Meal tried: veggie curry. It was most excellent flavorful. More effort put in than the typical forced vegan option at most places. One of my favorite restaurants on Hatteras Island. The restaurant is centered around a beautiful small bed breakfast. There are stunning views of the sunset. It is an absolutely perfect place for an anniversary or romantic night. We waited for a later time so that we could get indoor seating but they put us outdoor. The room was supposedly heated but it was absolutely freezing, I had to wear my winter coat during dinner. We 've been here before and loved it but this new years dinner they dropped the ball no pun intended. The 4 course meal looked amazing on the menu and the salad and tuna tataki was amazing, for the entree I order the lamb and lobster and the lamb was good but tiny and lobster was overcooked and burnt tasting- it was the worst lobster I 've ever had. My husband and I had always wanted to try this restaurant. When we arrived for breakfast at 9 AM, we were asked if we had a reservation, even though the place was empty. They seated us at a table under the stairs when there was a nice table available by the water. It felt very much like we were being treated as second-class customers. My husband is a veteran, an amputee, and a retired law enforcement officer. While he was in the restroom, I decided to move us to the vacant table by the water. I found the Thai Curry Ramen to be overwhelmingly spicy, to the point where I couldn't fully enjoy the dish or finish it. Although I took it to go, had I dined in, I would have definitely sent it back, especially given the high price. I'm unsure if it’s typically this spicy since this was my first time ordering it. Unfortunately, it ruined my dinner experience. They should clearly mark spicy dishes on the menu. If you plan to order it, consider asking for a milder version. The noodles resembled drunken noodles more than actual ramen, and I detected no hint of coconut flavor at all.
