"Once again made a visit to the cafe at the Inn on Pamlico during the week after Christmas. Went for Sunday brunch on New Year's Eve, in prior years I've gone for dinner or brunch/breakfast. It's such a classy place regardless of the time of day or meal. Seated on time in a seat overlooking the sound. Excellent service throughout the meal including checking on me mid-way through and timely returning for the check. I had traditional eggs benedict which saw the eggs cooked perfectly with just the right amount of runniness and a nice hunk of ham instead of the traditional Canadian bacon. Well seasoned Hollandaise as well as perfectly cooked seasoned potatoes and a nice side of sausage. I'll always return for a meal when visiting Hatteras Island."

"This restaurant offers an authentic Cuban experience, complete with fantastic mojitos. I visited on a Tuesday around 7:30 PM and was seated immediately, even without a reservation. The restaurant only has indoor seating, but there is also bar seating available. They accept credit cards, and there's plenty of parking in the lot. They feature a happy hour on weekdays. The staff was very friendly, and our food arrived fairly quickly. The El Criollo dish is perfect for sharing between two people and comes with rice, plantains, and black beans, with the meats served separately on one platter. The overall atmosphere is casual and family-friendly."

"I have to be honest I think this place is going downhill because I used to enjoy it. I ordered a Thai tea drink and it was so watered down. Tasted just like water with added orange food coloring because I couldn't taste any tea spices or condensed milk etc. I love Thai tea and this one is not creamy or sweet it was bad I threw it down the drain. I've been to a good amount of places and this is the worst thai tea I've ever had. As for the avocado rolls the pieces of avocado were close to paper thin and they might as well rename it the lettuce roll since it took up the majority of it. The grilled chicken vermicelli was alright but the fish sauce that comes with it tasted and smelled like nothing so I don't know if something was left out from it. I kind of want a portion of my money back. I don't think I'll be coming back anymore."

"Stars • 2023-02-01 Worst food ever. I order a medium to well cheeseburger and received a very burnt cheeseburger that I couldn't even bite into. When I called the store to tell them the woman laughed, that's not the kind of establishment I want to give my hard worked money too I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM."

"not a good culinary experience in any case. the only reason why I would give this place even 2 stars for our “fine dining room” experience is because our server michele was wonderful and the desserts were very good. we arrived early and had checked early, and they had said it would have been a few minutes, 20 minutes later our reservation time came and then no text after we had waited for an extended 15 minutes after our scheduled reservation time. after going and mentioning they had not given us a reason why, then we sat up on the balcony from which we were receptive until we had waited 20 minutes. we then had to get up to tell the hostess that we were not even greeted or even given by a hostessin/hotsin water/bread. the host/hostess gave no reason why others say: "oh their server may not have seen them" when we returned outside our seats, our server michele came by and she was very apologetic and had let us know that nobody made them aware that we were even there. for a fine dining room with higher trips the customer service was extremely lacking and eating was bland, meals were also small, especially in comparison to how large the desserts were. I think, above all, I am very disappointed and annoyed that no one (manager/head boss/hossins) has come to apologize or try to correct their mistakes by perhaps desserting or compposing our drinks. we will definitely not be back or recommend this facility. very excited for our night from fine eating on holiday that this was our experience. we understand that the world is short-occupied, but it lacked communication and accountability for such a high-priced/valued facility. this could have been easily avoided or at least put on."

"please please NEVER come here! Me and my boyfriend went for happy hour and they overcharged without telling us and they have added on gratuity and didn’t want to let us know that after being there for 15 minutes. Our bartender was absolutely AWFUL and so rude! We asked a simple question about why she over charged and she yelled and said if you want the 50 cents back then here and slammed a dollar on the table. Never ever coming back again."

"I and the woman were in Atlanta for a concert and were looking for vegan food near our hotel. The place was the only one in the area so we decided to check it. We go in and are greeted by the very friendly lady at the counter. She asks about us and where we are from, and deals with a really pleasant conversation. We order the Bbq sand, the grilled chicken sandwich, the Pommes frites and the Mac and cheese. There are no tables at the place, but their is a long wooden bench attached to a wall to wait for guests who was really the only negative, but the experience was amazing so I won't pull out a star. We get pink lemonade and the sweet tea from the self-service drink station, it was a little sweet for our taste buds but I thought the taste was still really good. The food comes out in time and we get our food in a brown paper bag, and the optimistic front cahsier informs us that it is ok to eat on the bank. We dig in and are immediately overwhelmed how good our sandwiches are. Everything is incredibly fresh and the flavors were strong and tasty. The Mac and cheese is unique as it looked and tasted as it was grilled, which was a welcome taste. The Pommes Frites were well done and exactly what you want from fried pimples. We buy an Eclair Desert Mug on the way out and eat it back in our hotel and it was in line with the rest of the food, as it was just incredible. For anyone who thinks about food here: The food is amazing. If you don't mind taking it either to eat outside on the bench or in the lawn area, then you are overwhelmed by the aromas. For the owners and employees: I don't know why there are no tables, but if you remove the bank and put some tables in the house, the place would be perfect, but as I said, the food was so good that the establishment was still worthy of the 5 stars."

"My co-worker and I arrived for a meal on a Saturday evening.I went to use the restroom and discovered that it was dirty and in need of cleaning. There were also some used paper towels on the floor next to the trash can.I returned to the dining area and saw my co-worker seated at a table across the way. As I made my way to the table, I was impressed by the floor plan, particularly the open view to the kitchen. I also noted that several tables had been cleared but that crumbs were left on the table. I was surprised to see an ink refill for a pen laying on the floor next to the piano. The piano was covered in dust.It appeared that there were around five or six employees on duty and there were only a handful of tables in use; the restaurant was not very busy.Our server arrived and my co-worker asked him about the piano. The server responded with a comment regarding male genitalia, as a poor and tasteless attempt to infuse humor into his answer. My co-worker and I were aghast at the answer. Apparently, the server thought that we didn’t hear him after our stunned silence, so he repeated himself. My co-worker advised him that his joke was understood.If I was there by myself or with my wife, I would have gotten up immediately and left the establishment.My co-worker ordered the prosciutto bites. They were amazing and a definite must have if you order anything…! The pizza was served hot and was very delicious…! I loved the pizza was thin crust and appeared to be hand-tossed. The presentation of the pizza was excellent.Upon completing our meal, we waited for some time to get the check delivered to us. We continued to wait for the server to return to process the payment. Eventually I had to go looking for the server and tell him that we were ready to pay.I used the restroom again only to discover that it was in a slightly deteriorated state and it had not been cleaned despite having more than enough hands on deck that night. The discarded paper towels were still on the floor next to the trash can.The only reason I am giving two stars is for the food, which was amazing…!The cleanliness was poor and the service actually provided a negative rating…"

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"They lost my order and kept dismissing me when I asked them for it saying it’s coming when they didn’t have my receipt in their queue. Ended up waiting over an hour for my crepe. I kept asking them when mines will be made but they kept saying there’s a backlog although it’s clear I stood in front of them for a whole hour whereas later customers got served before me. Extremely dismissive staff who can’t be a bit flexible. They wanted to push my order to the end of the backlog although I’ve already waited an hour. They are terrible at communicating what is happening with my order too."

"I visited this restaurant for breakfast and it was an amazing experience. First of all, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My breakfast here has definitely made it onto my top 10 list of all time. What’s really impressive is the variety of breakfast options available, and you can fully customize how your eggs are cooked for each dish. For example, if you order a bacon-egg-cheese on a roll, you can choose your eggs to be sunny-side-up and runny, semi-runny, or well done! You can also have them scrambled in those same levels of doneness! They serve fantastic French toast, poached eggs, and more. You won't be disappointed! There’s ample parking in the area, and if the weather is nice, they have lovely outdoor seating available. It’s no surprise that there are several Sabrina's locations in Philadelphia!"

"I really wanted to love this place, but I didn't. While our personal server was very kind and was clearly working her tail off, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the place was very busy, which we expected as it was a Friday at 5:00 but we literally stood at the door next to the bar for 10 minutes before any staff member even approached us. The bartender and another waitress walked by us at least 20 times and literally avoided eye contact with us. There were empty tables that needed to be cleaned up but there was clearly not enough staff to do so. Honestly, we would have been very content to just wait for a table when they were ready to seat us but it's just common courtesy to at least say hello to an arriving customer and let them know that at least their presence has been acknowledged. With COVID, we have experienced first hand the lack of staff and the difficulty in trying to accommodate patrons and we get it, but it only takes two seconds to say hi and we will be with you shortly to make a customer feel at least welcomed.Once our waitress finely did seat us, the overall experience was unremarkable. Let's be clear, she did her VERY best, but all in all, the ambience was mediocre, the food meh, and the sense that outsiders weren't overly welcome was tangible rude comments were made about us by some locals at the bar in such a way that it was purposeful for us to hear. I felt bad for our waitress she clearly was overworked and underpaid. My advice, if you are a local, keep on going. I'm sure the treatment you receive is fabulous. If you are just visiting, there's probably other places that will be more accommodating."

"The peach mango tea I ordered was fantastic and paired nicely with the spicy phở. I think I had either number 46 or 48 on the menu. I had initially wanted to try the Vietnamese stew, but I was told it was removed from the menu due to less-than-ideal feedback from customers, which was disappointing since it was the dish I was most eager to try. That said, the dish I ended up with, which was recommended by our waiter, was quite tasty. We also shared summer rolls and another type of roll, both of which were well prepared. This is a great spot if you’re looking for something light yet satisfying, with generous portion sizes. The regular size was more than enough for us. We left feeling full but not sluggish, which was perfect for returning to work. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a quick lunch if you need to be in and out within an hour."
