"Outstanding Food, Friendly Service, and Attractive Design: A Positive Business Dinner Experience at Cooper's Hawk in Arlington Heights I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cooper's Hawk in Arlington Heights for a business dinner with colleagues, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. The service was top-notch, with very friendly staff who were always available to assist us with anything we needed. As for the food, the quality was simply outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the pretzel-covered pork chops, which were cooked to perfection and had an amazing flavor that left my taste buds wanting more. The restaurant itself had a very modern and attractive design, which added to the overall dining experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Cooper's Hawk in Arlington Heights to anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience especially in business settings. The combination of friendly service, outstanding food, and attractive design make it a must-visit restaurant."

"The restaurant experience was surprisingly disappointing, primarily due to the owner's poor attitude. We arrived with a party of three and informed him that three more guests would be joining us. He initially agreed to combine tables once our additional guests arrived. However, when they showed up just five minutes later, he suddenly refused to merge the tables. I pointed out that other groups had successfully combined their tables, to which he arrogantly responded that he knows how to do his job. When I asked if he was the owner, he confirmed that he was. I then mentioned that I planned to write a review about our experience, to which he responded indifferently, as if he had no interest in customer feedback or improving our experience. It was clear he held some animosity towards us. Furthermore, the food did not meet expectations; we found several overripe strawberries in both our fruit cup and on our pancakes (see attached picture). While our waitress was very pleasant and the only bright spot in our visit, the overall experience was lacking. I have no intention of returning, and I hope that sharing my honest experience will help others avoid a restaurant with an owner who seems disinterested in providing decent service."

"Delicacies was amazing to work with. The minute I contacted them about my son and daughter’s in law’s Bria they went well beyond the call of duty to help us with platters, rentals and anything else we needed. Ezra was my point of contact and made this exciting but stressful time a much more simplified experience than it could have been. And on top of that the food was so delicious. I highly recommend Delicacies!"

"We had the chefs 6 course selection on a weeknight which was fabulous. They accommodated my gluten allergy by switching out beer broth muscles for these AMAZING blueberry ribs. Seriously some of the best meat I’ve had and the highlight of this meal. Other than this the desert was wonderful and the service was nice too. Didn’t love some of the other dishes sauce pairings. Was a little too salty for me. But nonetheless a great dinner for a special occasion."

"Went for dinner at the Tavern as a group of 4. Shared the oysters beef tartare farro salad. Oysters and beef tartare were both 5 5, but the farro salad was a little bland and closer to a 3 5 (but it looked gorgeous! Burger for my main. Classic carnivore style with no veggies, just beef, beef, and more beef. And bacon and cheese. Minetta’s might win by a hair, but this was still awesome, and one of the best in the city (and perhaps the world . Split a cheesecake for dessert. Didn’t last long. Very very yummy. Overall, a quality dining experience, and even with shared apps and desert, the final bill was still only around $70 person (no drinks . Worthy of a dinner stop."

"Was surprised to find there was a brief wait for lunch at 1pm on a Thursday but once we were seated, I quickly realized why. The food was so good! Easily the best brussel sprouts I've ever had, and I don't even like brussel sprouts! The surf and turf burger was amazing! Excellent service, laid back (despite being busy) atmosphere. Feels like the quintessential hole-in-the-wall gem. Will definitely go back. Looking forward to trying other meals as well (I've heard they're known for their breakfast. Can't wait to find out)."

"The food is fine. Nice presentation. Solid salads. Really tasty tomato soup. The service is slow though. The margaritas need work. Oversalted rim (see photo) and extra tart mix. The kitchen is exposed to customers and exposes the holes in systems for this restaurant: Staff speaks rudely to management, customers can hear personal conversations of kitchen staff and kitchen staff doesn't move with any urgency or a plan. Because the kitchen is open, customers can see the food coming out from the kitchen and just sitting for a while to be picked up. Our table was having a great time chatting so the wait didn't bother us but there were others around us that seemed displeased. If they could fix these issues, it would be a decent spot."

"I visited this restaurant with a friend who was visiting from out of town and we had an incredible breakfast experience. We enjoyed mimosas with our meal, which were reasonably priced, so we decided to have a second round. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with toast, and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The location was convenient for us as we were staying at the Boulders, and the menu had a wide variety of options for lunch and dinner as well. I would definitely recommend this place not only for breakfast but for other meals as well. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did!"

"I have been coming here for years, and always order the large cappuccino because I think it's the best in the area. However, earlier this month, I noticed that they gave me less coffee and more froth than usual, so I decided to talk to the barista this time. She said there has been no change (basically saying I'm a liar) and said that if I wanted more coffee, she would recommend that I get the small instead of large, because small and large have the same amount of coffee.Huh? I have been paying close to $5 for the LARGE cappuccino, and you are telling me they have the same drinkable liquid as the SMALL version? So I have been paying extra for LARGE to get more...froth!? And as a long time customer, you can't just be a bit more flexible and let me have what I want... or in this case, have the same that I got before. The barista said she would have to charge MORE than the price of a LARGE, to get more coffee than a SMALL, because small/large have the same amount of coffee.Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I hope the owner can clarify this. It's sad if this place is becoming more like Starbucks (the I-don't-care-who-you-are place) down the street."

"Having been in florida for the last decade I was extremely excited to go to a good ol' jersey diner again. The nostalgic feeling surpassed the food I remember as a young man. It was just OKAY. Maybe it would be better late night after a few drinks like I used to do. French onion soup was bland as can be, the French dip was bland as can be (had to ask for horse radish sauce for flavor) my lady had the gyro and zucchini fries. Idk why she ordered a gyro from a diner LOL clearly frozen mystery meat. And thr zucchini fries tasted like everything else out of the fryer. The regular fries were good. Prices were a little wild. All in all just okay."

"The food was decent, typical diner fare. We were seated quickly on a Saturday morning, which was a plus. However, after we sat down, it took our server ten minutes to acknowledge us. After another five minutes, she came to take our order and brought us coffee. We ordered the big breakfast and the corned beef hash breakfast. After a twenty-minute wait, our food finally arrived. She refilled our coffee but then dropped off the check before we had finished our meals. Throughout our time there, she didn’t check back to see if we needed anything, didn’t refill our coffee, or ask how the food was—she just disappeared. We had to ask another server for more coffee and for to-go boxes. In total, we saw our server three times. I would understand if the place had been extremely busy, but as I mentioned, we were seated quickly, and there weren’t any customers waiting for tables. Many of the tables around us were empty. Overall, the service was quite disappointing, and the food was just average."

"For and service was very good, and the waiter was very nice and polite. It also didn't take long to get my food. I got something light (shrimp and Lobster) and smoked samon sushi. But I'd recommend dressing a bit causual"

"Overall we had an amazing time. This establishment did a great job hosting our large group, they even allowed the event coordinator to put out a few decorations. The food was reasonably priced and tasted pretty good. We enjoyed dressing up to reflect the 1920 time period. Our server was Lasandria she did a great job taking care of all our needs. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for something different, most importantly Don't forget to find out the secret password ????."

"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"The host and server were very friendly, but the food was only mediocre. It was disappointing to find that every dish we ordered was greasy and lackluster. The Turkey Club looked impressive at first glance, but unfortunately, it was mostly bread with very little protein. The traditional burger was simple and unremarkable, while the Smashpee burger stood out as the best dish at our table. The Calamari appetizer was tender, but it was overwhelmed by too much Mayo aioli. Overall, we do not plan on returning to this restaurant. However, we commend the young woman who greeted us and served our table with a smile and great personality, despite being clearly overwhelmed with her many tables. Her excellent service deserves recognition, even if we cannot remember her name."

"EXCELLENT DINER! Don't miss out on the great food and service here. My son had the pictured burger, I had a quesadilla and my wife had a Greek salad. Everything was so good, came to the table amazing fast, and there was plenty for lunch the next day. Brought a slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake home too which was huge and delicious. Can't wait to go back! Was a bit pricey but well worth it. Parking lot gets full at lunchtime but plenty of seats inside. This will be a regular stop from now on. Staff are friendly and helpful."

"Eating is good, there is not the problem. simply don't call to order food or call it out of any reason. more than once after the wrestling and wrestling them to pick up, say they can hold a minute, and then never pick up again. this last time they were so well trained to answer the phone they didn't even get me in touch, so I spent 10 minutes listening to them, and then they were kind enough to hang on me. I get hired of the restaurant are not what they were earlier, but if they don't maniac with simple maniacs and the easiest skills they have a problem."

"Despite still being on Opentable as a currently open, available eat in restaurant, it was not! Upon arrival we were greeted by upturned chairs on all the tables, and an owner who greeted us protection free! MASKLESS. My wife and I told him we had made a reservation on the opentable app, to which he responded, “not open for dine in, take out only, big fines”. We told him he should make note on opentable of his current position, and we left to find an establishment that was open for a sit down restaurant experience. If anyone would like to know the restaurant that was open, and we were able to walk right into with no reservation, it was Fat Rosies in Naperville . Thanks Fat Rosies, ur restaurant is awesome"
