"The food was decent, typical diner fare. We were seated quickly on a Saturday morning, which was a plus. However, after we sat down, it took our server ten minutes to acknowledge us. After another five minutes, she came to take our order and brought us coffee. We ordered the big breakfast and the corned beef hash breakfast. After a twenty-minute wait, our food finally arrived. She refilled our coffee but then dropped off the check before we had finished our meals. Throughout our time there, she didn’t check back to see if we needed anything, didn’t refill our coffee, or ask how the food was—she just disappeared. We had to ask another server for more coffee and for to-go boxes. In total, we saw our server three times. I would understand if the place had been extremely busy, but as I mentioned, we were seated quickly, and there weren’t any customers waiting for tables. Many of the tables around us were empty. Overall, the service was quite disappointing, and the food was just average."

Is ok if you receive what you ordered. Any substitutions and what comes out is a crapshoot. Would probably skip it unless you don't have a better alternative.

I'm a visitor but my father lives on HHI. I'd give it 3.5 stars as it's typical diner food, nothing special/nothing bad. My dad eats dinner here occasionally and says their dinner-type meals are very good. They have a wide variety of food choices on their menu. It's a casual diner with plenty of parking and no outside seating.

We stopped here and it was your typical small diner. Ordered the country fried steak with eggs and home fries. It was delicious and filling. The prices were not bad at all and extremely affordable. The server was extremely nice and was fast with service. Stated that she had worked there for over 10 years which is amazing! Hilton Head is a dense environment, and this place is located right off of Route 278 on the right as you head into town. Of course, golf courses surround the area. We stopped in for breakfast and our entrées were OK. They weren't the best we've ever had but they weren't the worst either. Given the prices today with inflation perhaps the costs are in line with the rest of the country. I recommendation is if I have a choice to eat breakfast in Hilton head look for another place. There's nothing wrong with this place it's just average.

The service was amazing, our waitress was very nice and gave us recommendations on food. The boss was super nice to us. The food was unbelievably good, for a small diner you expect maybe okay food, but this food was so good. We got ribs, a side salad, and onion rings- oh my gosh. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and smothered in this incredible BBQ sauce, the onion rings were so crispy, not at all oily, and salad was fresh and just a nice little salad. Definitely recommend stopping by. Our waitress was lovely, the service was good, the food was amazing. Will definitely be coming back here. Also the rib serving was huge- we split it and we were stuffed!
