"I live in Nanuet and usually go to the Nanuet diner which I've always felt the people at the Nanuet diner are always courteous and very friendly. We decided to have a family lunch on Sunday, 3/27/22. We had family coming from Woodbury Commons and Westchester so we choose the Orangetown Diner as a central place for a Sunday get together. The Orangetown Diner has a good system for texting you when your table is ready and had nice keyboard entertainer for live soft music which was a nice touch at a diner. We had mixed reviews on the food as half our party liked their meal and the other half disliked what was served. Our biggest disappointment was with the way we were treated. There was no effort for good customer service and our waiter wasn't interested in using common courtesy for our table. We are a blue collar family, one of our party was a waitress for over 10 years and were always considerate, patient and understanding of how busy waiters are and how hard their job is in general, We were also raised to always say Thank You and use our manners with everyone. Asked for water for the table multiple times and it never came, asked for a second glass of soda and had to wait over 10 minutes to remind the waiter for the soda, no straws for the drinks after multiple requests for straws, ended up drinking the sodas directly from the glasses. My sister who was a waitress ordered a meal and requested a bagel instead of the bread it was made on, she explained how she wanted it 3 times and the waiter said they had bagels and it could be served with the bagel instead. The food came out in stages with 2 of the 5 meals coming out first, 10 minutes later the next 2 of the 5 came out but my sisters meal had not yet showed up. So while waiting for hers she insisted we start eating by the time her meal came out the rest of us were about 80% done. Then when her meal came out it had the original bread not the bagel she requested and to my surprise she responded to the waiter really, we went through this 3 times and he replied oh, I thought you meant a bagel on the side so my sister fully frustrated at this point said oh really, then where's the bagel on the side which he never brought out. All of these things are not the main reason for my low rating, it's mainly because of the lack of common courtesy from the staff. Like I said we always say Thank You and please but not one You're Welcome or is there anything else I can get for you? Just reaching across peoples faces to plop down plates and turning their backs to walk away from the table. On the way out I left a tip for the keyboard player, he was wonderful playing soft music with a smile on his face and a little laugh all the time we were there. Left a 20% tip for the waiter because I don't believe in taking out our bad experience on one person. When asked by the person behind the desk how was everything I gave them my honest opinion which I hope they shared with the Owner/Manager. Maybe it's a teaching moment on how important it is to be nice to people especially customer service where you show you value your customer. Disappointing customer service and appreciation. Spent over $100 for a family lunch and left with one of our party never getting their meal and the rest of us still waiting for water for the table..."

"They have dine in with Covid vaccine proof so that's a plus, they have booths that fit 1-2 people and 4 seat dining tables and the server was nice, that's about all the pros. There was a fly in here and as I currently look down at my turkey burger and sweet potato fries all I can think about is how bland the food was. I dont know what happened to the seasoning and I had very little faith they would do it properly if asked so used the salt, pepper and ketchup on the table. Managed to eat 2/3 of the burger, hardly made a dent on the fries, they give you a lot which would of been great if tasted better. Couldn't force anymore down, so taking a L with this lunch. Really wanted to try their desserts but I'm afraid it's just as bland so didnt give it a try and this fly is giving me trust issues. Maybe their other menu items taste better cause I see 5 star reviews, i guess it depends on your taste buds. An older gentleman seems to be enjoying the food behind me so to each their own. But for me it's a no, even $11 is a lot if the food comes out tasting as bland as paper and a fly you constantly have to swat away. Only salvation was the tap water, wouldve hated paying more for a drink.Correction: Not $11, I just got my receipt and he's charging me $18.51 so they are literally charging every item on your plate. The burger itself is $11 and the fries are $6, overpriced and under seasoned. On top of that he asked what side I wanted, I had assumed it was a side that came with it with the way he worded it, fine, simple misunderstanding but atleast season the food if you charging so much. The price is slapping my face with how unsatisfy I am with this dinner."

"I rarely go to Napoli for a pizza , but my work orders from here a couple times a year. The other day I was craving a semi greasy New York Pepperoni Pizza and some Chicken Fingers. I got the $11.00 Pick Up 14 One Topping Special with Pepperoni and half with Green Peppers and also an order of Medium Chicken Fingers with no fries for around $15.00. The place is pretty large inside and usually at least half full with customers dining in. Lots of people order here for takeout. When my work gets a couple pizzas from here they get the Huge 30 Inch Pizza or something like that. I'm including a picture of 2 of my co-workers holding up an empty box just to show you how big it is ! It's definitely good for an office party or football party. The pizza here is just okay , not really my go to , but when you have that certain craving it hits the spot. The chicken fingers were pretty big and pretty good and came with ranch. It's hard to believe how much chicken fingers and wings have gone up at every restaurant so you want to make sure you go somewhere that you get what you paid for. My box was pretty full. Of course I had plenty of leftovers for the next day , pizza and chicken fingers. The service here is okay , not overly friendly , but some people have commented they were rude to them , but I've never had that happen to me. Vegas has tons of places for pizza so I have several that I frequent depending on what I want , Chicago , New York , Thin , Thick , Cheap , Gourmet. Luckily we have so many choices in town unlike many places who may only have the chains to choose from. I didn't need a 2 liter of soda , but I asked just to see how much they were and they were $6.00 wow. The last 2 liter I bought I paid $2.49 for. I know it's a convenience thing , but over twice the price is a bit much. Luckily I had several cases of different sodas at home."

"Incompetent, unprofessional, and ridiculously slow staff. Placed an order via GrubHub for 2 slices of pizza around 12:30am. Called around 1am to confirm that they received my order and was told they were “just waiting for it to come out of the oven.” At 1:40 I received a notification from grubhub saying that my order was arriving soon (within 10 mins). At 1:50 I called the restaurant again and was told my order hadn’t even left the restaurant yet and would probably arrive in about 20 minutes. After asking why they confirmed on Grubhub that the order was arriving soon, the man I spoke to proceeded to bark at me that there was only 1 oven in the restaurant and that the order would be here soon. I asked once again why they pushed it through on the grub hub app as if it was on the way already and was told it was intentional “because the driver was almost back and your order was gonna be next”. So not only did my two slices of pizza take 2 hours to arrive (at 2:28am), but the restaurant straight up admitted to cheating the grubhub system to make it seem like their orders were on the way within the given timeframe even though they were not. And to top it all off, when the driver finally arrived I was greeted with “are you the one who was yelling at us?”. He then proceeded to tell me how he ran a red light to get the order to me, as if that somehow negated the fact that my food was an hour late and ice cold"
