"This is a great spot to enjoy a delicious bowl of matzo ball soup. However, I was disappointed with the hot dog and pastrami sandwich. After being away for over 25 years, I used to frequent this place for lunch and always loved the food. But I digress. The staff is wonderful and very attentive to customers' needs. In fact, my server was just a kid when I first dined there over 30 years ago. He's a fantastic guy and a dedicated employee. The coleslaw is excellent, and I also enjoyed the black cherry Dr. Brown's soda, which I had missed over the years, along with their hot dogs and pastrami sandwich. Unfortunately, the hot dog was nothing like I remembered. It was soft, appeared blackened from being on the grill for too long, and had a bad taste with no snap when I bit into it. The texture was mushy. The pastrami sandwich was dry and had an off flavor. After driving an hour and a half to get there, I was extremely disappointed. This was the first time in all my years of dining here that I left unhappy with the food. I hope it was just an off day for them. I still recommend giving it a try, but be cautious about the hot dogs and pastrami sandwich!"

Ordered two sandwiches, a container of soup, and a few sides and the bill was $77! The service was fast as we ordered to go. I just thought $17 for a sandwich was a bit much.

Eating 1 overly salted potato pancakes. Got was sick for 2 days. First time, last time. Going back to Mill Basin Deli in Brooklyn. Guess this is why Epstein’s is in Westchester because they couldn’t make it in the boroughs.

OMG: make sure your bring your own napkins.The table cleaner remove unused napkins after customers left and was placing napkins on other tables. Also took the pickles the customer left and reused them. I couldn’t believe it.WARNING: Don’t eat the pickles!!!! Gross View menu

I have been a regular at Epstein’s for many, many years. Unfortunately, I've noticed a significant decline in the quality of the sandwiches. The hot dogs were unappetizing. However, the matzo ball soup was good and brought back memories of better times. The waiter was the same person I've remembered since my twenties; I’m sixty-five now. He has always been an excellent, friendly guy who knows how to treat customers well. I was really disappointed since I traveled an hour and a half to visit Epstein’s, hoping to enjoy the same quality of Jewish kosher food that made it a beloved spot in the past.

I'll give it a three stars why cuz it's easier and faster to get to than Katz deli in Manhattan. If you're looking for a good pastrami sandwich at a deli I mean a regular hole in the wall deli this is a place to go locally. But again if you want a quality good pastrami sandwich take the time to go down to Kat's deli in Manhattan there's nothing better this place is just good locally otherwise they suck the pastrami was cut super thin. I was going to get it to go the guy talked me into staying he said we have servers it'll be nice and hot when it came there the sandwich wasn't even hot if you want pastrami go down the cat's deli or there's other good Jewish delis Epstein's is not the one why...
