"We were there for brunch the service was excellent and the food was divine. Best **** Mary I have ever had (and I've had them all over NYC and New England) We started with the pastry board which was delicious. The goat cheese omelette melted in my mouth and was paired with grilled asparagus that was perfection. Between all the members of our party we tried all the entrees and all were excellent. And desserts to die for!! A most wonderful and amazing meal!"

"I visited the Deli for Father's Day, and it was surprisingly empty. We were seated at a broken table that wobbled, so we relocated to another table that was slightly better, but we had to grab chairs from a different table because there weren't enough at ours. I hadn't been to the Deli in about a year, and I noticed that the prices have gone up, while the portion of meat in the sandwiches has shrunk, and the quality of the meat has declined as well. For dessert, we ordered a brownie with ice cream, only to find out they were out of brownies. We then requested cookies with sprinkles, but there were none available either. In the end, we opted for some mini-danish pastries, which tasted stale, as if they were a day old, despite being offered at a discount."

"Food I am so happy that I found another five-star restaurant. The food was top notch. We had oysters, pop over and fried calamari as starters. The oysters were so fresh that I did not want to stop eating them. The pop over was something we went back and forth if we should order. It looked like a muffin and we were afraid it might be too much. We asked the waiter for advice and he said it is very light. You know what? The top over is a must try. It is almost like a balloon and tastes amazing with some butter on it. The fried calamari didn’t disappoint as well. For main course, we ordered lobster spaghetti and fried chicken. Both of them were very flavourful and the portion was generous. At that point, we were too full to order any desserts. Everything else The service was fabulous. Our waiter was friendly and gave us good advice on the menu. During the dinner, I knocked down my cocktail, and they quickly came over to clean it and gave me a new one. I will definitely go back."

"The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding; the staff is very accommodating! The diner is also handicapped accessible. I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner! Parking: The parking lot is spacious, with designated handicapped spaces for easy access to the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how kindly they treated my husband. While the exterior doors don’t open automatically, the staff were wonderful about holding the doors open for us, which is a big help for caregivers. "Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start! Before we even got to Second Happy Door, the host greeted us with menus, and they were very polite. Once we sat down, we were served refreshing water with ice and napkins—such attentive service! Our waiter came by shortly after to take our orders, and the coffee arrived quickly. We ordered the French Toast Deluxe, which came with eggs and cheese, as well as cheddar cheese and extra pancakes. Honestly, this was the best French toast I've ever had! It was perfectly warm and cooked just right in the middle. The flavor was outstanding; the cook truly nailed it. The presentation was also impressive!"

"My wife and I wanted to eat breakfast on a Sunday morning in a different place. We decided on this diner because it has the oldtime diner look and we were not disappointed in that it did have the feel as well. All the indoor seating tables have a bright airy touch. There is a counter if you prefer to eat there. The service was instant. I had a short stack of whole wheat blueberry pancakes with coffee, the warm maple syrup in the metal pitcher was a nice touch. My wife had two eggs over-easy with bacon as well as coffee. We both were satisfied with our vittles. The clean bathrooms are downstairs. On a Sunday all metered parking is free and more than ample. Nice place for a change, Hastings is very quaint and great for a short Sunday stroll."

"This place is the bestttttt. I would give it 5 stars on their food alone because from their fresh bagels, bialys, cream cheese, and all the various egg sandwich offerings, they make GREAT breakfast food. But the service is so excellent too. The super friendly staff really completes the picture of the overall perfect spot to grab a classic New York breakfast. Also, try the green sauce. I don't know what's in it (jalapeño? cilantro?? ?? but it was friggin' delicious with my eggs. Please stay on 30th ave forever, thank you."

"Fabulous food and excellent service so lovely to spend the day! I will come back soon for sure. The pea soup was out of this world, my friend’s mushroom barley soup was equally scrumptious and the falafel and pita sandwiches were extraordinary. Mine was extra spicy, my friend’s regular. Both were amazing especially when combined with coleslaw and pickle and dressings on the side. This was the most superb vegetarian luncheon for the two of us. You’ve got to go to Mendy’s 2.0 in person or online or on Goldbelly as soon as you read this review."

"I was charged $19 for soup and a handful of fries. The soup clearly say $5.50 on the menu for the larger size. I didn’t see a price for an order of fries but figured everything together would be around $12-$13. When I called to ask what happened after my partner came home with the food they told me they charged me about $12 for the soup alone. I questioned why I wasn’t charged what was on the menu and was told that they only serve soup for that price when you eat in the restaurant. This was not specified on the menu whatsoever, nor was it mentioned to me when I called to order. I was begrudgingly told I could return for a $5 refund but I don’t feel like dragging myself out of bed with the stomach bug. I’ve always gone here because it is convenient but after this experience and the multiple times I’ve found hair in my food (at least 3) I will not be returning."

"This place is great. It’s expensive but they have the best fish taco in the city. I’m looking into trying the other locations because this place is fancy and the others are more casual. The margs are delicious, especially the spicy cucumber. And the service is really great and attentive. It’s a fancy Mexican midtown spot that really caters to executives. Decor is wacky though and I love that. It appears their taquerias are more on the funky side so that makes sense that they wanted to pull in that side of their business model. 11/10."

"I ordered food to be delivered to a fellow employee recovering from breast cancer surgery. Not only were the employees polite and accommodating, but the delivery man went above and beyond when faced with an empty house. He secured the food safely and promptly called me with the location of the food. My friend and her family enjoyed the sandwiches immensely. I highly recommend the Preakness Deli."

"The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and Christa is always a pleasure to be around. The kids really enjoy it here, too. Plus, all the talented performers from the state opera have breakfast here, which speaks volumes about the place!"

"Last night we had a party of three and decided to eat in Ruven's. We've been having breakfast for a long time and last night, for the first time dinner guests. Our server was attentive and accommodating. Our meals were served, a dinner was unacceptable. Half a roasted chicken was boiled and the green beans burned. I decided to discuss this with the manager. When I told him that the meal was overcooked, he informed me that he saw my wife cut into the chicken and told me that the white meat of the chicken will be dry. That was an interesting feedback considering that they were busy, and he never saw our way. I found his comments unacceptable, and an apology was never offered. In addition, we were calculated for the side salad and ice tea that was part of the dinner. That was also unacceptable. A manager who does not accept feedback tells me that I'm basically wrong doesn't belong to the business. This was our last time we feed at Ruvens and I will share our experience with friends and family. Totally unacceptable and insulting behavior. There are many other ways to eat in the area and lose customers will not build your business when you take care."

"the bar is super cool and has a very good vibe. the decor is very charming and the live music adds even more charm to the place. but the service was very poor. we had two tables of six people each for my birthday and it was really a bad experience. the waitress didn't pay attention to our table at all and we had to place the same order a couple of times to get it done. the hotel is great and I'll definitely be back and stay there but the bar won't see me again, that is for sure!"

"Excellent food very fresh! I have been very disappointed with all our other local dinners lately and nearly forgot about acropolis (moved away for a few years) they are by far the best diner in town great food great people I go nearly every morning. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but one of their longest working servers tends to walk around causing problems with the other servers and complaining about the owners right in front of customers and it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone else is happy and great at their jobs and love the owners. I can't hate this place for one person everything else about the restaurant is amazing I hope they do something about this server soon"

"Check out this spot for its budget-friendly prices and welcoming vibe. The food is satisfactory, and the portion sizes are quite large. However, this place primarily serves the locals – you'll see everything from boxes of Tylenol and Motrin at the register to local Spanish channels playing on the TV, not to mention the small disco ball sparkling above. When you visit, expect to hear the question, "Are you new to the neighborhood?""

"Keep far from this place! We came here because they provide a luggage storage service via Luggaehero. We left our luggages in the morning and we came back to take them at 18.50 (it 's Sunday). It was closed already, even though here on Google Maps the closing time it 's 20 (on the door 19).Long story short, we managed to get our luggages after 19.30 after many calls. The workers and the owner had been very rude and not caring at all about what they caused us.We lost the train to Washington and we spent a lot of money to buy new tickets.Keep far from this place!"

"The positives: The Grandma pizza is thin, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Chicken Parmesan pan pizza is rich and satisfying, with perfectly breaded chicken and a great balance of ingredients. The negatives: The BBQ chicken pizza is a soggy disaster. The chicken is not breaded, and instead of being drizzled on top, the BBQ sauce gets mixed into the cheese, making it watery. I wonder if the excessive amount of onions might be contributing to the sogginess. I’m so let down that I can't see myself ordering from there again anytime soon. Service: Delivery."

"I visited this restaurant for lunch with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent; my burger was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. My wife ordered a large California roll, which was fantastic as well. We will definitely return very soon. Let's get out and support our local restaurants!"
