"We had a fantastic experience dining at Federal Grill on Saturday evening. The host (or manager) greeted us warmly and checked in on us several times throughout the night. Being a Saturday in the Financial District, the atmosphere was quite calm, which enhanced our enjoyment. The food was excellent, especially the fried chicken, and the cocktails were unique. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance of the room was lovely."

"Where do I begin ! This is most certainly a new local favorite. Went for a date night out and I absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff and adjacent to the IPIC theater. I was able to partake in happy hour while waiting for my other party to arrive? $7 margaritas!!! Can?t beat it?and it was actually strong and tasty! We ended up being seated and our server Brandy was amazing, knowledgeable and very untuned with their extensive options. She was patience as well my date wasn?t too sure of what to get but Brandy helped us with offering some really good choices! We started with cocktails YUM! A Rum Punch and El Corazon both were very tasty and moving on to those delectable lemon pepper wings and cornbread ! Our entrees includes shrimp ?n? grits and the cavatappi spinach!!!! All were spectacular! I will absolutely be returning to try more of the menu !"

"This diner is a true hidden gem, reminiscent of a bygone era, complete with a counter and fewer than ten tables. The food is served quickly and is wonderfully tasty. It's cash-only, but there's an ATM on-site. I gave it 4 stars because I was surprised to find they charge $3 for each coffee with no refills; I didn’t expect a second check for it!"

"WeHo spot serving healthy and hearty brunch options. Came here on a Saturday morning in a group of four and waited about 20 minutes for a table (we had no reservation but I would suggest making one). Indoor and outdoor seating. Credit cards accepted. I split the French toast and the desayuno fuerte with my boyfriend I especially liked the potato pancakes in the desayuno fuerte. The waitress was friendly and the overall vibes were chill. It’s a good local spot to have a meal and catch up."

"We made a reservation to watch the Sevilla game at this restaurant. However, when we arrived, there was no designated seating for us, making us unsure if our reservation was honored. There was a loud party happening in the next room with a DJ playing music, causing distractions every time the door opened to bring in food. This made it difficult to hear the match commentary. We wish we had been informed of this beforehand. Additionally, we felt that the overall experience was overpriced for the quality of food and service we received."

"I requested a quiet table, but ended up sitting behind the server station next to a loud party of ten. The noise from both sides made for an unpleasant dining experience. As for the food, it lacked flavor and the portions were small, especially for $19. The Eggs Benedict I ordered came with undercooked beans, and it was a disappointment. My partner received the wrong bread, and we were done eating before the correct gluten-free option arrived, which was also bland. The additional costs for "add-ons" were unusually high, and I found it frustrating that they tacked on a "3% service charge" for those who do not want to contribute to their employees' wages. This felt both offensive and like a poor business decision for something we did not even request. They should reconsider this practice—it costs them more in the long run. Overall, I was not impressed with the overpriced, subpar food and will not be returning."

"We really love the vibe there. You feel like you could be in the city. Beautiful delicious food and really great, friendly and attentive service. A little pricey however with all that's happened in the past year and for the quality of the food you receive, you expect that. I would highly recommend restaurant to friends, as we have a few times now. It is my favourite place to eat outside of the city."

"I had dinner at this place outside tonight, and it was wonderful! The outdoor seating is limited but very charming. We all ordered burgers (one was a veggie), and the food was excellent. I typically prefer curly fries, but I took my sister's recommendation for skinny fries, and I was not disappointed. The sweet potato waffle fries at the table next to us also looked delicious. The highlight of the evening was definitely our waiter, Niko! He was amazing—funny, helpful, and always seemed to know just when to check on us. I really hope we get him again on our next visit!"

"We were in town for the day and stopped at A.K.A Kitchen for dinner with friends. Overall the food was really good, specifically the short rib stroganoff and the goat cheese mushrooms though the mushroom portion wasn't shareable size. Desert was a riff on a cherry cobbler which has the visual look of a large pot pie. With everything we ordered it was on the pricier side (we pay the same amount as in Denver) but good for a nice meal in a small town."

"The experience was absolutely terrible from the moment we got there. First we had to find the host ourselves. I had a party of 20 people and the tables were not even ready even though the restaurant was empty. Our server was very forgetful and had an attitude when we asked him for condiments that came with our meals. Silverware was not on the table, we waited over 30 min for champagne glasses and our drinks. The coffee a friend ordered was cold, everyone’s food was also cold but at that point we were so over it we ate anyways. Oh by the way the food was absolutely terrible. The pork chop was nasty, the waffles were dry, even the eggs were trash. Luckily we were all so happy to see each other we enjoyed ourselves. But this was absolutely the worst experience of my life. The worst part is a lot of us at the table have been servers or hosts ourselves so we were very unimpressed and disappointed in the quality of service. We would never treat our customers this way. We still tipped him again even though gratuity was included because we know how it is. However , hopefully he will read this review and learn from this. You cannot be unorganized and treat people like they don’t matter."

"I've been to this restaurant several times, but we decided to celebrate New Year's there this year. Unfortunately, everything went wrong from the start. If we had the option, we would have left for another place. They were out of several menu items, including the meatless charcuterie board, yet they still charged us full price for it. Many drink options were also unavailable, and they even brought us the wrong drinks. The timing of our orders was off, and my pork dish was so fatty that it was nearly inedible; I ended up leaving a lot of it on my plate. They didn't attempt to rectify any of the issues. There were only two or three tables occupied, so they couldn't blame the service on being too busy. When the bill came, they split it evenly among us, regardless of what each person ordered. This experience felt unprofessional, and sadly, we ended up paying for it. We won’t be returning."

"Horrible, horrible service. I had to ask twice to place an order with the waiter. The waiter stood around talking about Spain with customers, like he didn't have five angry tables of hungry diners. I didn't receive any thing more than a glass of water for minutes, and then only because I was pretty vocal that if the food wasn't ready, perhaps they could at least pour the wine. The tables next to us super close had the same experience when they first arrived. We felt invisible. And after complaining, all they did was say sorry...no free dessert or comping of the bill. The next day, I told my friend about it and she said she had the exact same experience there, but she thought the food was terrible I thought it was OK. I'll never go back"

"Got breakfast here, but boy, do they skimp out on ingredients. I got the dungeness crab omelette, described as coming with avocado. The omelette itself was tasty but couldn't have been made with more than two small eggs. The crab meat itself was great, and I had a few good mouthfuls. The single small slice of avocado that came on top of the omelette... was kind of sad. I got the homefries with it, and they didn't look like photos I had seen in other reviews. Maybe I didn't look close enough. I expected pan-fried potatoes, onions, and peppers. Instead, I got small cubed potatoes that seem to have been deep fried or even air fried. They were crispy and dry on the outside and slightly moist in the center. I got maybe 3 specks of bell pepper, and likewise for the onion. It also came with a biscuit, and this was the star of the plate. The other items might have well been a side to this thing. It came with butter and what I think was strawberry rhubarb jam, which I loved. The buiscuit was crispy on the outside and fluffy in the center. Unfortunately, the food also came out luke-warm, I don't need it to be screaming hot, but it definitely had been sitting at the pass a little too long or something. The staff was very nice and the restaurant has a cool atmosphere. Overall, my meal wasn't bad. It had plenty that I liked, but it was way overpriced for the portion and could have come out hotter/fresher. If the homefries would have been better, that and the buiscuit could have made me overlook the meager omelette. I would like to come back and try dinner sometime. "Food was great. It tasted really good, and filled us up well. We had a skillet and half a bowl of clam chowder each. Everything was good.Only negatives were, the service was bad. The waitresses seemed like they were all fresh hires (and they might have been). They took a long time to do things and didn't notice us a few times when we were waving them down. We had them remove fries from our order and wanted it replaced with extra vegetables instead, and the waitress did that, but didn't tell us it would cost extra to have the veggies instead of the fries. They took it off our receipt though, and it's not their fault. Everything traces back to the waitresses. Tbf it was the end of their shift so if you go on a different time/day you might get better service.Maybe 1 other thing was the tea was a bit expensive but thats nitpicking. Overall good experience."

"It’s been a while since I visited this restaurant, and now I remember why. The service was good, but the food was just okay. When I think of a diner, I expect comfort food and a cozy atmosphere. This place looks cleaner than it did during my last visit, but it doesn’t have that classic diner vibe. There are too many other options nearby, and I live within walking distance of this place. "

"This is a wonderful place for breakfast and lunch! When I say there are countless choices, I truly mean it! They have an extensive selection of wraps, omelets, and French toast. The stuffed French toast with cream looked amazing, but we didn't get a chance to try it this time. I ordered a Greek omelet filled with feta cheese and spinach, and it was fantastic. It was served with delicious hash browns and toast. My daughter chose a Portabella mushroom wrap that was fresh and outstanding! My husband treated himself to the French toast, which was about an inch thick and absolutely delightful! John, the manager, was very friendly and made us feel right at home during our visit. If you're in the area, you definitely need to stop by! You won’t regret it!"
