"Not my kind of place. Bar /tavern side had shrieking, raucous customers on a day when no one around. Really a tasting menu, teeny plates, teeny portions, poor value. Waitress told me that the green peppers in my mussel soup were mild- they were not and had to spit out with my mouth on fire. Truly embarassing when I was being treated. They did give me asparagus instead. Their only vegetable. They did not notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit on in the tavern/ bar area but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place if you eat high healthy protein and veggies like I do. I do not like to leave a restaurant feeling bloated with too much food but neither do I want to leave hungry. Their coffee was good after the meal."

"We had a party of 6 for brunch celebrating two birthdays; greeted very warmly and taken to our table quickly. Our waitress was very polite and professional through out our time dining but she may need more training. Coffee orders were taken and told a new pot was brewing; out of the 5 coffees brought to our table more than 10 minutes later, only 1 was warm. Food was straggered and one plate -a club sandwich- was 10 minutes behind the others. Ketchup was asked for three times (each time our waitress had been to the table bringing something else) before it was brought causing food to get cold because of the wait. Hashbrowns are listed as one of the side items and 3 were ordered. Tater tots were given instead. The tots were good but if this was a substitute item, guests should be informed upon ordering so they can opt to select a different side item. If tater tots are not a sub item, suggest stating so on menu instead of hashbrowns . Four of us have dined at this establishment and have raved about it and were excited to celebrate at Albertos. We will continue to celebrate and dine here, encouraging others to as well. We hope the wait staff is well trained prior to taking care of guests and supported by members of the team and management to encourage growth once flying solo ."

"nice room and service was friendly and efficient. mocktail was perfunctory – nothing artistic about it. cheese board was good, venison wellington very good. black jersey was tasteless and the sides were not good at all. French rice pudding was delicious. beautiful experience, but wished that eating had been a bit better."

"My sister and I stumbled upon this place randomly looking for somewhere to stop for drinks and a quick bite to eat and we were impressed. First, the restaurant itself was cozy and dim lit. Perfect for a chill evening. Next, the bartender was super friendly and funny. He did a great job of making sure we were taken care of despite having a packed bar. We both love wine and got wine flights I got the Bulls on Parade (Big Bold Bad A Reds) and she got the Intriguing Whites (Off the Beaten Path Whites). The written descriptions of the wines were perfect and we enjoyed learning about the wines that we were drinking. The bartender was very knowledgeable about all the wines and even gave us outside recommendations based on the ones we liked. He also gave us a taste of a new wine that they were introducing for the sweet wine lovers, which I am not but my sister is so she liked that one too. Lastly, we both got the Seafood Cobb Salad and it was DELICIOUS! It was huge and we just knew we wouldn't finish it but we couldn't stop. Of course, they did not bring us enough dressing for all of that salad but we asked and they brought us each 2 more ramekins of dressing. The service and food were great. I've been thinking about that salad ever since but want to try other things on the menu so I'll definitely be going back."

"Cheese to Share is one of the food vendors located within the Marketplace at Avalon Park (think of a high end mall food court or an indoor food truck rally) located in the heart of downtown Avalon Park, Florida. Street/parallel parking is available and there is also a parking lot behind the building.I love all these cheese related so when my friend and I were perusing the different cheese options, I knew Cheese to Share was my top choice. Along with various cheese board options, they have sandwiches, toast and cheese bowl options. They also have a kids menu as well as chocolate fondue for dessert.Once you place your order, they provide you with a number to put at your table of choice and then one of their team members will bring out your order.I opted to start with the cheese tequenos white cheese wrapped in a light dough served with a guava dipping sauce. The dish was surprisingly light (I guess I was expecting something akin to deep fried mozzarella) and the perfect appetizer. I then tried their signature cheese bowl and added bacon for an additional fee. The bread bowl comes with crusts of bread (the top of the bread bowl) and pretzels to eat the cheese with. I also ended up eating part of the bowl itself. This dish was hearty and filling. My friend chose to order avocado toast topped with an egg. She exclaimed, This looks fancy! She also said it tasted as good as it looked.An overall A+ experience and I 'm sure we 'll be back!"

"We have been going there for years. It changes Chefs a couple of years ago and re-opened and was just OK. Recently, there was a change in ownership/management and we tried it. The service was spotty and the staff seemed a bit confused. We got some bread/dinner rolls with water and the rolls were tough and cold. There was a tiny spot of butter with the 2 rolls. Onward to cocktails. My wifes wine was OK and my draft beer was tasty and cold. That's the end of the good news. We ordered Hanger steaks for $23.00 ea. They came extremely under cooked, very small portions and seared outside. There was a vegetable side on the plate. 3 tiny vegetables. Seriously. The place may be OK for a cocktail or a light snack, but we will never know because we will never return."
