"The food is a three, the service is a five, so I’ll assign four stars. No-frills pub with pub staples like fish n chips, shepherds pie, hot chicken sliders, crab dip, tater tots, fries, burgers, and other types of sammies. I had the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese (wish I had remembered to ask for bacon). It was hot and creamy, but I think it could have used some seasoning. I also had the Nashville hot chicken sliders. I understand what they were trying to go for with the breading, but my patties weren’t terribly cohesive, and the breading fell off after a couple bites. I had the cucumber cooler, the Paloma, and another drink at the recommendation of my server. All of them were pretty good, especially at 15 dollars, but none were breathtaking. My server was understated, but very attentive. She gave me recommendations on the menu. And when a large 10 top was sat right next to my single table, she astutely noticed how that might diminish my dining experience and moved me right away. Prices were very fair, especially given the area. Most things were 12-15 dollars. The most expensive thing is the fish n chips at 23 dollars. Would I got back here again and again? Nah. It’s basic bar food and decent drinks. But the service was excellent and it was a convenient snack on a long day out. I definitely don’t regret stopping in."

"Food was great. Service was very friendly and very efficient. If anything the tables might be a bit tight together but understand there is limited space. We enjoyed the evening very much."

"A cool setting on the 4th floor of a tony hotel. Live music on a Saturday early afternoon. The food was just ok, the service tepid at best and it is expensive. It was disappointing at best. I had the basic breakfast which was two eggs and toast and sausage which was $14. If you added potatoes the upcharge was $5, so $19 for a basic breakfast, which is more than even the swanky Austin hotels charge for the same meal. My food came out cold, not even warm, I should have sent it back but it took a while for it to even come out so I just ate it, my bad I suppose. We were there early after noon and the place was not that busy which make it more disappointing. Then after we were done, it took literally 20 minutes to get our check to pay, our server just disappeared completely and we needed to flag down another server to get our check. The it took about 10 more minutes to have our credit card returned, also disappointing. So I came for the food, not the cool setting and the food was not great and kind of underwhelming even if I am being gratuitous. Add lousy service to the equation and I will not be back. Too bad, because the setting is great."

"We had a dinner reservation at 8:30 in the garden. The staff was amazing as soon as we got there. The restaurant is incredibly beautiful. Our waiter, Paublo, was a charming young man who was very knowledgeable about The Vanderbilt. The food was tasty and the garden setting was lovely. The only downside was that there was a nearby table with two small dogs that barked throughout dinner. Personally, I feel that dogs should not be allowed at upscale dining establishments."

"The staff at the restaurant were exceptionally polite and attentive, making them a valuable asset. The food was delicious. The only issue I encountered was with the hotel's parking garage. The automatic exit at Calvert Street tried to charge me $90 for less than two hours of parking. When I tried to exit on Woodley Road, I had gone over two hours and was charged $37. This was a hotel issue, not the restaurant's fault, but it affected my overall experience at the restaurant."

"Sat at the bar and ordered a drink; great selection of bourbons. Only complaint I have was no large format ice cubes, so all in all not very much to complain about. I have a nut allergy to all nuts and nut derivatives which the Bar Tender took very seriously and conveyed to the kitchen. I had a chef reiterate to me the attention to the allergy that the kitchen takes. Definitely reassuring. Tough choices with elk (special), the braised lamb shank or the bourbon pork chop. I went with the pork chop, and if this is not the house signature dish it should be. Outstanding. done to perfection with great accompaniments. Definitely recommend as a must dine at when in Louisville KY."

"I love Elixor! Everything that I tried was delicious! I strongly suggest the New Orleans, the burrito, the St Louis burger or any salads. Usually I am not a fan of salad, but that restaurant has the best ones; they are delicious and tasty :) This is the perfect place to go with a few people, because they have a lot of different choices so everyone can eat something they like. This is one of my favorite place in Laval and I would recommend it to anyone"

"I booked a reservation expected a dine in restaurant with the menu listed on the website. When I went for dinner, I found the restaurant portion closed and the open bar seating was what was available. There were open tables and no host. The menu provided was more like bar food versus the restaurant menu available on the website. I was informed that the website is not updated regularly. The wait staff and food we did order was good, but had I known it was a bar setting, I would have looked somewhere else for a more sit down dinner setting. I hope they update the website in the future because I did enjoy staying at the resort. So overall I had higher hopes but the food was good, just don't expect anything fancy."

"It is unfortunate to see the decline in quality and service at this longtime Bethesda establishment. The last few meals have been disappointing, and it appears they have reached their lowest point. It is a positive development that they are closing this week for remodeling, although it seems like a mistake as the ambiance was the only redeeming quality of the restaurant. Hopefully, the renovation will allow them to start fresh with improved kitchen operations, service, and management. If not, it may be worth taking a short trip on the metro into DC for better food and a superior dining experience at a similar price."

"Firefly has been around for a while. I was a fairly frequent visitor but it had slipped off my radar screen. I recently recently returned mid-week with an old friend for a quiet catching-up type dinner. Even though it was ‘kids restaurant week’ we had a delightful evening and Firefly clearly demonstrated that (a) a hotel restaurant can be consistently good and (b) an oldie can be a goodie. I arrived shortly before my friend without a reservation and was seated quickly without drama. The cocktails were delicious and the bread basket very tempting. The decor – which is insipred by a backyard scene – has aged well and is still intensely cute and the service was good: attentive but not hovering. My friend and I both enjoyed our entrees very much. I had a nice salad and a perfect roasted chicken with a delicious collard greens side. My companion had the soft shell crab. We both enjoyed reasonably-priced wine by the glass with dinner and shared the red velvet cake which was good but not up to the standard of the rest of meal particularly the hard chalky balls of ‘chocolate’ on top. Overall, Firely, although pricey, is a great evening out with good service, neat decor, good food and beverages, and pretty good desserts. Although I would caution against kids’ night, I had a great time."

"Coco's Bakery was severely disappointing. I ordered the Brioche Eggs Benedict and it looked like they dumped all of the paprika in Flagstaff onto my plate. Food tasted bland, service was very very slow and the restaurant was empty! The best thing on the table that night was my son's mac n' cheese that came out of a box. I would not recommend unless you're going in specifically for dessert."

"I had my baby shower here this past Sunday and everything was absolutely perfect. From the food, to the service to the set up of the room. My parents couldn't have chosen a better restaurant to host it. Josh was also a pleasure to work with and he organized everything exactly the way we asked him to. Definitely recommend boulevardfive72 if you're looking for a restaurant to host your event."

"We've been here many times over the years and this time our experience was subpar. Our waiter forgot about us and we had to flag him down several times. He checked in on how our food was about 20 minutes after receiving it. He dropped off the dessert menu and didn't bother to tell us the gelato flavors. By then we had had enough and decided to leave. The upside was the plat du jour (bouillabaisse) was delicious and I highly recommend the Thai Curry mussels. The food is always great here, I think they just had an off night."

"This was our second time trying Harvest and we have had fantastic experiences on both visits! The service is excellent and the atmosphere is vibrant (loud to some as this is a brunch location in a small ish space so the conversations carry but not enough to be bothersome in our opinion). We called in to book a reservation this time around as our group was 7 and the online reservations take up to 6. They have great seating for groups of 2 5 but bigger groups should definitely call ahead to get a reservation. The staff was awesome and our food was fantastic! Think fall flavors, colors, and vibe. The menu had great options for everyone in our group and the waitress customized a few orders as needed. Overall a wonderful experience and we highly recommend!!"

"Exceptional brunch. Delicious food, great service, yummy beverages…this place screams go-to brunch spot. Cool bar area that seems like it is always sought after by regulars. Otherwise, the restaurant is bustling and you may have to wait a few minutes but it is worth it. The BYO omelette is killer. I didn’t see anything come out of the kitchen that didn’t look delicious. I suggest trying the front room and when you’re done, take a stroll down a few blocks to the water and enjoy the scenery."

"First time here with the band Whatever We Are, it’s like an English Pub, great music, two sides: one side has dim lighting and the bar and one where it could be for a family dinner near the kitchen. Seats are awesomely comfy. Bathroom is clean! Waitress is on point with refilling drinks, even hot drinks. Outfits are finesse. Great service overall!"

"Overall: A very luxurious restaurant. The ambiance is expected of a fancy restaurant; quiet, moody, and classy. It was a busy Saturday when we went, but the staff were able to provide excellent service. The price is expected and comparable to othersimilar restaurants, but parking could be an issue during busy time. 4.5 out of 5. Service: Everyone was so attentive and politeto us. Jenny was our waitress but there were others that made the experience memorable. The food came out in a timely order. 5out of 5 Food: We ordered a variety of appetizers, entrees, and drinks. They have a kids menu. Even the garlic bread they gaveus was on point. I was able to try the smoked salmon, chicken strips, spaghetti and meatball, pork chop, and ribeye. All entreeswere delicious! The smoked salmon was very interesting and different with the crispy bread and you can definitely taste thesmoke. The strips do not have your typical breading but better. Both the pork chop and ribeye were seasoned very thoroughlywhere you can taste the flavor in the juice. My steak was cooked to a perfect ???? medium. I dont think I can complain about anyof the items, taste wise. One minor complaint is the portion size on the kid 's spaghetti was too much. I 'd suggest lowering theprice and the portion to match the other items on the kids menu. 5 out of 5 Drink: I had a taste from my wife 's Tiki Tiki RumRum. It 's good, but for the price, I was expecting more. 4 out 5. The Bad: Nothing major."

"We came to Sage upon recommendation from friends that we were visiting here in Tallahassee. We were celebrating our anniversary and hoped for a wonderful experience as it was a highly recommended restaurant. From the moment we sat down and had to wait 15 minutes before the server even came to the table with water to the hour and 45 minute wait before we got our meal the experience was abysmal. There was no explanation Other than they were backed up. The restaurant wasn’t even that full yet our table and all of the tables around us were waiting for over an hour for any food to show up. The only time the manager showed up was at the end while they were serving all of the tables at the same time approximately an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes after ordering. When we complained to her that we had ordered well before any of our tables she said well I’m just trying to be transparent here we want to plate everything all at once. When the food finally arrived it was not edible. I ordered the most expensive plate on the menu which was the bone in ribeye. There was no meat in the ribeye it was pure fat and gristle. My wife’s dish was severely under cooked. Your first mistake was hiring a millennial as the manager of this restaurant. You will be losing customers left and right. It was clear that she was way out of her league and way over her head and offered no explanation of why this restaurant runs so poorly in her hands. I will never go to this place again and if this is the best that Tallahassee can offer ? Well. I guess there’s a reason why Tallahassee isn’t a culinary destination."
