"The food here is excellent and it’s conveniently located near our home. It’s a popular spot situated in a bustling strip center, which makes parking a bit challenging unless you opt for valet service or choose to park behind the center. I especially enjoy the fish tacos and Caesar salad, while my husband is a fan of the soft shell crab, mussels, and oysters. Overall, everything is very good. I highly recommend making a reservation."

"We’ve walked by this place a few times and wanted to give it a try. I grew up in the south and miss the food sooo much. With that being said, I think they missed the mark. I know it’s supposed to be a twist on southern food but we didn’t really enjoy any of it. We ordered cornbread for my son and it was stale, seemed like it was old and had just been heated up. Was not fresh. Sent it back immediately. Ended up getting the guacamole which I thought was expensive for the portion you get $15 (see photo) The Cajun Mac n cheese would have been ok but it was salty. The nachos were nachos. The dirty rice wasn’t really dirty rice. It was ok though. The drinks, server and bartender were great. For the price I expected the quality of food to be better. Mostly disappointed in the cornbread."

"We had a delightful dinner at Julep's. Upon arrival, we checked in for our reservation and were able to enjoy drinks at the bar before being shown to our table. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated the acoustics; we could easily converse at a normal volume without overhearing others around us. The food was fantastic, and I highly recommend the she-crab soup! There were also several off-menu options and an excellent selection of whiskey and bourbon. If you're seeking upscale dining in a relaxed setting, Julep's is the perfect choice!"

"This was our first visit to The Greyhound Tavern, and we were impressed. The atmosphere was lovely, with several rooms that allowed for a more intimate dining experience rather than being surrounded by a crowd. Our waitress, Zoey, was both attentive and professional, making our experience even better with her friendly demeanor. My husband and I ordered the Fried Chicken dinner, which was outstanding and came in generous portions. We were able to take home our leftovers, and they were just as tasty when we enjoyed them again later. We couldn’t resist trying dessert and ordered the bread pudding and Peanut Butter cake, both of which were delicious. We will definitely be returning soon, as we plan to try the buffet on Sunday. We've even invited another couple to join us for the buffet one Sunday after church!"

"We've been ordering from this restaurant since we relocated to France, and we've consistently had a positive experience. However, my only issue is that tonight, my pizza arrived looking nothing like the picture. I'm not sure how that could happen during the mile-long drive, so I'm quite disappointed. "To the owner. There was no apology for the mountain of BBQ sauce covering the plate and seeping into the Broccoli. And there was no offer of anything else either. Your respinse reads like an irritated individual because you didn't appreciate the 3 star review. In terms of busy, there were 2 gentlemen in one booth, a couple in another, and us. Another couple arrived after us and received their food before us, which I didn't even mention in the original review. Maybe take the time to appreciate each person's individual experience and work to improve the areas where your establishment needs improvement. Seems like a cool place. However, took more than 20 mins to get some coconut shrimp, filet bites, and a brisket sandwich. The main issue was the brisket sandwich had 1/2 a bottle of BBQ sauce poured over the meat to a point I couldn't even see the meat. And there was so much sauce that it bled into the Broccoli and made the bun soggy. Likely won't return."

"This was a VERY pleasant surprise. We like to try different places around town so we Googled nearby seafood and Jubilee Seafood came up. When we arrived we were a little skeptical. It isn’t the most appealing from the outside. Then when we walked in and the place was packed to capacity. However, my party of three were the only Blacks in the place. Uh oh, right? Nope. We decided to stay and try it anyway. The waiter was super nice and very knowledgeable about the offerings. We ordered the scamp, oysters, and shrimp. We shared bread pudding with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. ALL delicious! The portions were perfect. The most satisfying part were the people. Couples stopped by our table and bragged on the food, gave my daughter compliments, and even gave us tips on what to try. It’s true... don’t judge a book by its cover. We’ll definitely return."

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was poor, and I received a lemon instead of the orange with my Blue Moon—what a letdown. To the owner: I know what an orange looks like, and what I got that day was definitely not an orange. Thank you for your response, but it doesn't change my experience. I see you! we stopped at this place on a laune and it was literally the best decision of the day! we thought there was a great early start that they opened at 4 for happy hour, but they open around 5 so beware! we went and walked and came back. we were literally the first in the door and they had no bartender yet, but the host sat us and our waitress brielle came immediately. she helped us make decisions, told us what was on the happy hour menu and recommended drinks. she told us it could be a minute on the drinks, but kept us on everything that was going on. she even wanted to try to get the bartender for us what it wasn't long, maybe 10 minutes. they brought our drink, the jimbo. it was strawberry with a small, very tasteful and they did not jump on alcohol. we ordered the south Fries, half price for the half of the size that was perfect for 2 people. the pommes were amaaaazing! you could get them with ranch or bleukäse, but we have ranch! great combination with the BBQ sauce and ranch! I ordered the mac and the cheese with smoked chicken. before I ordered, I asked if it was good and she said yes, but I asked if she would just say, and she said no they use many different cheese, definitiw not power and it was not! I really enjoyed it. my man ordered the burger with garlic sweet potatoes that were from this world! brielle was really good at checking about us, refilling our waters without asking us, and checking if we need anything. great place to see the game with a huge screen and of course country music! I did not experience the club or party show, but would definitely go back for happy hour and the bar scene!"

"We ordered drinks, a starter, and two entrees. We tried the holiday cosmopolitan and the blueberry jalapeño mojito, both of which were excellent and had a good alcohol presence. For our starter, we went with the crawfish corn beignets, which were more akin to hush puppies, but they were delicious! For our main courses, we chose the creole seafood bucatini and the monté au beer chicken. Both dishes were fantastic and definitely worth the price! Overall, I really hope this restaurant can succeed, especially since this location has had a bit of a reputation for being cursed!"

"I don’t know if the only three times I’ve been were all off days or what but these photos look NOTHING like what I got! They have the tiniest portions I’ve ever seen at any restaurant! I ordered a price of pie and it was extremely tiny! I ordered the special which was four shrimp and literally one tiny hush puppie and paid over 10 dollars I don’t like fries so I got the grits instead and they up charge me for that too. Last week I got chicken strips and they were extremely tiny also, and so were the catfish. The portions really are a ripoff and the employees tried to warn me too but I had no idea it was this small. After three times I’m done. Ridiculous"

"Offering CURBSIDE takeout, Packaged liquor and beer sales, AND online ordering via Old Granite Street Eatery's website during COVID-19. If that's not enough, they founded [hidden link], a community driven effort to push revenue to our local restaurants and meals to our healthcare workers and first responders. I've been to Rue Bourbon on MANY occasions, and everytime it's a blast. They have great bar bites, burgers, cocktails, live music, and it all adds up to a whole lotta fun! Foodwise, those Po' Boys are not to be messed with and on the cocktail front, I have these fine folks for introducing me to the Vieux Carre! When it first opened, I honestly wasn't sure about this whole NOLA theme. Let's face it. It could be kitschy and cliche, but everything about Rue Bourbon is tastefully done, which makes it super fun. You need to follow them on social media because they have some killer events WHICH WILL BE BACK SOON! Live music, art, food festivals and more. If that isn't enough to love about this biz, one more thing is that they love feedback. Give it to them in person, online, via email, or however. They want to hear it because it helps them improve for all of us. All told, this is a fantastic addition to our community!"
