"I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which is NOT one of the meals Keys is known for. It was clearly obvious it was not. Fairly small burger with a meager presentation and unimpressive in all other ways including taste and portions. My friends were also a little let down with their meals as well. The Philly cheesesteak was bland. The omelets were advertised as being the largest in Minnesota on the menu but were disappointingly normal sized. I know there are many other outstanding meals at Keys. They have a great reputation for their bakery foods but my meal and the meals of my friends was average to sub par. The service, on the other hand, was good and the ambiance was great. Please take the reviews from others into consideration but my review accurately reflects my experience."

"Avoid this place at all costs! The service is terrible, with rude staff who fail to bring your food, fail to inform you when they are out of certain drinks, and even get your order wrong. When I requested a refund due to the poor service, they claimed to have technical difficulties and left me waiting without providing a refund or offering an alternative solution. They even asked me to come back after I had already left the restaurant to receive my refund, which is extremely unprofessional. Despite calling the next day to follow up, I have yet to receive my refund. Unless you enjoy headaches, bad service, and a terrible dining experience, stay away from this place. It was by far the worst culinary experience I have ever had."

"This was our third time in 4 years at Gilbey’s celebrating vacation my birthday. It was incredibly disappointing. The wait staff was not up to the standard set by previous experience. Our food order was wrong not up to the flavor quality of the past. I ordered a steak (medium) with a baked potato. I was served a very very well done steak mashed potatoes. The manager was kind enough to have another steak cooked for me but it came out almost raw. She noticed as soon as I cut into it immediately took it back to the kitchen. It came back out cooked correctly but covered in such a large quantity of spices that I couldn’t taste the flavor of the steak. The baked potato I received was the best part of the meal. I don’t usually complain about food if the service is really good nor do I complain about service if the food is good. Unfortunately both were terrible so here we are. We weren’t offered any discount on the bill which is fine, I only add that detail for frame of reference. We won’t be returning to Gilbey’s again on future visits to Orange Beach."

"I have traveled all over the United States and I can confidently say that this is some of the best food I have ever had. The Gluten Free meal I had here was the best I have ever had in my entire life. They even offer a separate Gluten Free menu if you request it! The shrimp and scallops were excellent, and the shrimp and grits was absolutely fantastic. I was recommended this place by a local from Grand Island, and they were absolutely right - it was worth the 20 minute ride from Buffalo. This restaurant is a hidden gem and I will definitely be returning every year when I visit Buffalo. Thank you for the wonderful experience!"

"I went here before a tax conference to breakfast. I have a touch, hate brown, speck and toast. it was their typical land breakfast, but it was definitiw logged in and hit the place. I will say that the restaurant was understated this morning, but everyone was on their game. faster and friendly service was very obvious during my visit. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Stopped by for a bite to eat; as they were flagging people in from the street. They were trying very hard to get your business. We got two **** Marys as they were on special. They were ok, but not our favorite. Wife only drank half of hers. We got a alligator and soft shell crab Po boys. The alligator sausage was like the times I've had before. Was my first time for soft shell crab... If my eyes were closed I couldn't tell you what it was. Tasted like a old bay, but that was it. Not sure what I was expecting, but I should have ordered something else. The two night caps we got after dinner were strong and perfect. It was kinda spendy for what it was."

"Visited on Srp 29th, 2022.This restaurant has some great concepts. An open atmosphere. A simplistic menu making it easy to choose an entree. Decent and timely service. I didnt care for the **** mary mix. Although the drink itself had the proper amount of vodka. Two orders of eggs benedict. 2 out of 4 eggs were not properly poached. A real shame!. "Been going there for many years and they have always played soft jazz or 70 s music, now their playing country music, big mistake....it's very disturbing hearing that music at 8 am in the morning when you're trying to relax, many neighbors we know wont even go in there now because of the change in music....hope the manager sees this and goes back to the soft jazz, it's been the staple of this restaurant for years....but the food is still good!!"

"This place never disappoints!!! It has the feel of your local neighborhood restaurant that you'd go to every weekend with your family. The food is fresh and home made and delicious. They have such a good variety too, I think we've tried almost every genre (breakfast, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, etc). The service is wonderful- helpful and kind. It is the best place to go and just unwind with family/friends and eat a delicious meal. They have huge portions and great home made sweet treats too!!! They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well. Love this place so much, so happy they are walking distance to our place."

"Had an awesome day with my eight-year-old today and for lunch we decided to eat at the corner Café. my daughters favorite place )When we came in it was very busy had one table left just for us we had other appointments today and was a little concerned with my time and it being so crowded but the service was excellent, hardly no wait and the food was awesome my eight-year-old absolutely loves the ham and cheese roly-poly! This is definitely one of my favorite places for not only lunch but breakfast too!!! Everything that I have ever tried here has been delicious which makes only one problem when I go and that is what to get because it's all so good!!!!!"

"Our service was not great. The first time someone spoke to us, over 30 minutes after we had been seated, was to take our order. Once our food was brought out, the next time a server checked in on us was to drop off our checks (unprompted . It would have been great to have been offered some condiments for our food (which as pretty good! . It seemed like the two servers who were handling the restaurant were not enough to get food out promptly and make sure that customers were doing alright (and mind, this is two servers on a Saturday morning . I understand things happen, I don’t love the idea of complaining about a service person’s work, but this was a pretty bad experience. It’s my impression that this restaurant needs more staff and I hope the owners find a way to adjust accordingly."

"My family and I was served by a young man named Adrian.  Adrian knew four things very well:  (1) What substitutions were possible, (2) How to individually make sure each of us were well taken care of, (3) the sources and differences in the menu items (where the food was purchased and differences in those types of foods, and (4) enjoyed his work.  Each of these traits matter..as a business consultant who teaches these things..and others...I know.  The food was very good, but without the exceptional service it would just be another good restaurant to us.  However, I believe when customer service is THAT good it should be rewarded.  I asked to speak with his manager, Jacob, and explained how well we enjoyed the service."
