"Stopped by for a bite to eat; as they were flagging people in from the street. They were trying very hard to get your business. We got two **** Marys as they were on special. They were ok, but not our favorite. Wife only drank half of hers. We got a alligator and soft shell crab Po boys. The alligator sausage was like the times I've had before. Was my first time for soft shell crab... If my eyes were closed I couldn't tell you what it was. Tasted like a old bay, but that was it. Not sure what I was expecting, but I should have ordered something else. The two night caps we got after dinner were strong and perfect. It was kinda spendy for what it was."

Came here for a light early supper. It was during Mardis Gras so I was pleasantly surprised when we were immediately seated. Had a delicious supper for a great price and super friendly waiter. Highly recommend! Had the half/half sandwich/gumbo combo ??. Bread pudding was delicious!!

Daisy Dukes express was one block from our resort. We arrived too early to check so we decided to stop here for brunch. I ordered shrimp and cheese grits, they were amazing! The grits were creamy, you could taste the butter and cheese. Best grits I've ever had. If you are a fan of shrimp and grits I would recommend this location.

This place was next to our hotel, we would pass by and the hostess was so nice and would greet us each time, it was also recommended by the hotel so we tried it, and it was so good, we came back the next day for breakfast. The fried fish and shrimp, the fried green tomatoes, and the shrimp and grits were excellent!!! Thanks for the great friendly service. I will definitely be back! View menu

I ordered the country fried steak breakfast, which includes the steak, your choice of eggs, grits or hash browns, and either toast or a biscuit. I've tried this breakfast from several different places, and this was by far my favorite. The breading on the steak was just right, and the biscuit was absolutely outstanding. I'm not familiar with the rest of the menu, but this dish was fantastic. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast!

You have to try the breakfast at Daisy Dukes! On our last day, we learned about this amazing spot just a block from our hotel, and I'm so glad we did. I would definitely return. The service was fantastic, especially with the Mardi Gras crowd. Everything was incredible! The food was excellent and exactly what I ordered. The drinks were spot-on, and the coffee was very good too. If you're visiting New Orleans, this little restaurant is a must-try!
