"The food here is extremely inconsistent. The tostones were overly salty, and the pernil was dry. When the delivery arrived, the green sauce had accidentally spilled all over the bag. They even buzzed the wrong apartment, which meant the food had to go back to the restaurant. It was raining, and when they finally brought it back, everything was soaked and cold. They didn't even bother to replace the bag. The delivery driver was frustrated about having to return and was a bit rude. I suggested he speak to the person who answers the phone since it wasn't my fault he had to make two trips. He complained about getting wet, and I pointed out that it was just water—he wouldn’t melt. Overall, this place is a complete disaster. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and will never order from here again."

The prices are quite affordable especially with everything else being more expensive post-pandemic. The food is at best good but forgettable. Entree portions are a bit small compared to most restaurants (expected with tapas in the name). Service seemed stiff and made easily fixable mistakes (meals coming out staggered so people have to wait). My first impression walking in, was cool little restaurant after leaving not bad but why come back?"

"book your reservation online before the time for our jubilee. he was there and the host/ waiter has not confirmed our reservation and just told us to sit somewhere. I didn't say anything because I wanted to surprise my wife. we took place at the bar and had drinks and ate a good meal. we could only enjoy the experience for about half the meal, as the band stopped playing and make a break through the stage, and the staff began to clean themselves and prepare for it while we had eaten; 2 hours before closing. I expected a confirmation of the preordered reservation for the evening, instead we were all, but rushed out of the restaurant and sent to our way. eating was great to expect from previous visits, but each other aspekt was less than pleasant. would like to come back, but the overall experience of this time was extremely exposing."

"I had high hopes for this dinner. I’m latina and was craving a good ropa vieja. I made a reservation for an inside table but had to ask for an outside one because it was freezing in the restaurant. It was a gorgeous evening at the shore, so that was a great switch anyway. The service was very, very slow: servers coming to greet or acknowledge me/us, waiting for drinks also felt like a long time. The food does not taste typical. Not sure if it’s by design, to accommodate to the American palate or just inexperience with the cuisine. The chicken in the chicken empanadas was hard, so weird. The dough was delicious, the filling wasn’t. Not horrible but overall fell short. The ropa vieja was very bland, even after I added salt and pepper. "

"4 of us went to try this place. All 4 of us thought the service food was outstanding and the atmosphere is good as the dinner area is separated from the bar itself. Very happy with this place and will be going back soon for round 2. All 4 of us got different things and we were all very happy. An A restaurant. Only down side is bring your walking shoes as we needed to park a block away to get there. Parking: We went on a Friday night at 5pm (beat the rush) and the place was getting full already at the bar. My dad who walks with a cane needed to park a block away and took 10 min to walk there for him. No handicapped parking that I could see."

"Wow does this place have disgusting employees ?. I ordered some lemon with to go with my water and the waitress (Lina) gave it to me in this dirty container that had residue of something else (I don?t think even that container was used for that ???, maybe for food) but what they should do is throw it away if it does not come off with dishwashing soap ???. How underwhelming and disappointing is this restaurant, I live in the area and thought I found a place to go for Latin food but no. Besides that screw up of container, I ended up ordering Mofongo with Chicharrones (pork rinds) but what they gave me was cooked fat. It wasn?t crispy at all. I had to keep my composure to not throw up the fat in my mouth off one bite. I washed it down with a Passion fruit juice but that was disappointing too, it lacked the sweetness that is passion fruit, it was more tart (don?t know if they used an unripened passion fruit. Anyway they need to step it up. Yes, I could?ve thrown a fit but I wasn?t about to lose my appetite over some lack of attention. Idk, whatever. I didn?t tip the chick. Better see this review and clean up your act ASAP."

"This restaurant offers the best service I've experienced in any place on Long Island. The waitstaff is incredibly approachable and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience. It's my husband and my favorite spot. We particularly love Friday nights when we can sit at the bar and enjoy a delicious pitcher of margaritas. "The portion size is impressive! HOWEVER, the steak and pork were nearly inedible. Both were incredibly overcooked. I might suggest that the journey from Brentwood to Centereach impacted their quality, but the eggs still had soft yolks, so I'm not sure that's the case."
