"Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. "My wife and I like to try different restaurants and we had never been to Allgauer's so we decided to give it a try. We made an afternoon reservation for lunch at Allgauer's for 1pm. At some point I tried rescheduling for 1:30 through the app but with no success. I then called the restaurant but I kept getting the answering machine. I left a couple of messages letting them know that I wanted to change my reservation. I even left a number for them to call me back to let me know they got the message. Never got a reply. My wife and I decided to just go. But when we got there they were closed. According to their hours of operation, they didn't have a lunch service. Why wasn't this noted in the app? Why was I able to get a notification from Allgauer's accepting my reservation if they didn't have lunch service that day? Very disappointed."

"So, my wife and I decided to head over anyway. However, when we arrived, we found the restaurant closed. According to their posted hours, they didn't have lunch service that day. Why wasn’t this updated in the app? How was I able to receive a confirmation for my reservation if they weren’t actually serving lunch? We were very disappointed."

"Went to a nice Wedding here. Things could have been better. For most people once the got into the parking area they had no idea they had to walk do a wooded path to the beach where the ceremony was being held, or for people who had trouble walking, were not told they could drive up the road a bit and drive down to ceremony. No signs, No one to direct people. The building was in need of repairs, the food not so great, flavorless for BBQ fare, chicken not fully cooked, canned beans, the cornbread was Fantastic! 1 to 10, I would give it a 4 3/4. Watch your footing on the wrap around deck outside if you are going to the upcoming festival of food there. Missing and lose boards. Restroom was clean.Noteworthy details: All included above."

"We stumbled upon Canyon Lakes Brewery when dining was 100% outdoor. We have now enjoyed several meals here and, still, have never eaten inside. The food has been excellent with very few mishaps. Don't pass on the ultimate chicken sandwich, it is excellent and enough to feed two people. Other things worth mentioning so far, are: pesto chicken sandwich, cobb salad, Thai salad, chicken wings, homade ranch. They also have specials daily and I'm told the beer selection is good. They have bocce courts in the front and it is dog friendly. All of this plus views of the golf course and hills!"

"We were treated as we walked in the door. Had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server came over within about 5 minutes and took our drink and appetizer order. It took a bit longer than I thought it should for the drinks. There were only two other tables besides ours. The appetizers were delicious. We ordered two pizzas also. They were both good. Overall good experience. We will return."

"We love Del Frisco Grill! We've been there several times since they opened in Brentwood and have had mostly very good experiences. The one thing that they could improve upon is getting a server to your table more quickly. There seems to be a little confusion at the check-in desk as to which server is serving what area but I'm sure they will get this worked out. I've had the steak salad a couple of times and it is absolutely delicious. My husband had the beef stroganoff and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The wine list is excellent and they also have several good wines by the glass. Highly recommend Del Frisco Grill. And if weather is permitting I suggest you sit on the lovely covered patio outside."

"There are so many positive things that I have to say about this place, the first thing I think is that the hygiene and cleanliness of this place is the best in the entire United States, the bathroom is so clean and smells so delicious, the tables, the cutlery, the glasses polished to perfection, the second and no less important thing is the attention of the staff from the moment you enter this place, its warmth invades you, and the third is the food, each flavor just right, the pastas, the sauces and the cannoli dessert a Delight to the palate, I could spend the day talking about this place, it was perfect, it was worth the 2 hours of travel, thank you Kelly for your excellence in service, we will see you again very soon."

"Excellent ! We loved the food and the drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler appetizer plate, Mantoo, A vegetarian plate, and Beef Kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were ample, but not huge, and had distinctive, well balanced flavors. "The drinks were really good, the food was excellent, the service was average at best. We had guests in our group who were gluten free our waitress had no idea what was ok for them when asked about appetizers. She was supposed to check never returned until after other guests at our table were almost done with the appetizer that they ordered. She then wasn’t sure about which entrees were gluten free had to return with someone else after taking our order. I even added that our group had gluten free guests when I made the reservation. I picked Cork because the menu looked good the gluten free options were marked on the menu. Apparently the menu has been changed they no longer highlight gluten free items. Very disappointing!"

"The restaurant music is AWFUL! What should be an amazing dining experience in a beautiful setting is marred by blasting music. Not only is it excessively loud, it’s just bad music! The management did turn it down slightly when we asked and the second time we asked they did try to adjust the speaker nearest to us in a different direction. But sadly this review should be about the amazing food, excellent wait staff, beautiful decor and attention to food allergies. Instead I had to waste time and space talking about ridiculous music creating noise pollution. If we wanted that type of scene we would have gone to South Beach."

"I went here after a surgery today for some Greek fries for the first time ever. It?s my favorite food and so I wanted it as a comfort post op and the experience was terrible. Obviously because of covid the sauce is packaged separately but I was expecting Tzatziki or a white sauce of the like and I received feta covered ketchup. Which I get it if mistakes are made, there were some fairly young people taking care of the food so they could have been in training, but when I went back after arriving home to find the mistake they were closed. It was only 2 minutes past even though it said online they close at 9:00 they closed an hour before. People were still inside so I asked my cohort to go and get it fixed or ask for a refund (as I am disabled and would have struggled to get out of the car) and rather than assist they turned us away and left me with the sad excuse for Greek fries. I paid more than six dollars for less fries than I could get in a large at McDonald?s for three dollars. The only difference was that these are poorly cooked and had feta on top. Not to mention they didn?t have change so I paid extra because they didn?t have enough to return (which I was totally ok with). Overall it was terrible service and bad food that was incorrectly advertised. I am very dissatisfied and I hope that they are able to clean their act up in the future."

"Highly recommended. We have been going here for many years and it’s easily one of our favorite places for a casual meal. They are frequently busy and might have a wait. The salads are great, and a “large” is enough for two to share. Weekend brunch is also popular. It’s consistently top quality food-in all these years there was only one time that I felt disappointed by a dish, and that item has been taken off the menu. They’re a casual place but a bit upscale. They have a bar, though I am not a drinker and can’t offer any opinion about the drinks."

"The building is lovely, but we were not near any windows and so it feels a bit like you're sitting in a cave. The waitress was nice, but never came back to fill our drinks or ask if we needed anything else until she asked about dessert. We both ordered grilled cheese with tomato sandwiches and they were not hot, the cheese was not melted. It was like they put two pieces of toast on cheese, added tomatoe and cut it in half. French fries were good, although not hot. It took quite a while to get our food and, frankly I didn't think they were all that busy. I will go back to give it another chance, but was disappointed after all I had heard."

"Well, we found another 10/10. Red Cork is the perfect little hole in the wall that reminds me of some of my favorite places our family went when I was growing up. The staff and the owner Adrian greeted us with such warmth and took very good care of us. They also made some amazing recommendations on apps, entrees, wine dessert. The Caesar salad is one of the richest and best around. The wild boar fettuccine Bolognese was divine. The chicken parmesan is exactly what you are looking for if it's one of your favorites (we got it with the accompanying pasta in a gorgonzola sauce). Their wine pairing suggestion was spot on and the delicious dessert (a decadent pumpkin spice cream cheese roll with cinnamon ginger ice cream) was just made fresh by their in-house pastry chef. This place definitely deserves your attention and we will definitely be coming here on the regular."

"Making a reservation online is easy, there is plenty of parking available, and the restaurant has a cozy and elegant atmosphere with an outdoor patio, providing a delightful dining experience. Our server, Jimmy, was outstanding - friendly, professional, organized, and efficient. Our drinks were always replenished promptly and the service was exceptional. Gaetano's uses fresh and delicious ingredients, resulting in amazing dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant!"
