"Met friends for a casual lunch. Started with drinks an appetizer. When meals were ordered, one of our foursome ordered her lunch plus a take-out order. I was dismayed when her takeout order arrived before our lunches, and it was not prepared to-go. She told the server it was to be to-go, so it went back to the kitchen. When it came back, in a clear to-go box, half of the meal was missing! The fries and corn which had been part of the meal the first time it came out was gone. Then the server told her those don 't come with an appetizer--apparently it somehow morphed from being a lunch special (as it was initially prepared into an appetizer. Then my friend had to explain that she had not ordered an appetizer. When the server still said these don 't come with it, my friend asked for a menu to show her what was included on the lunch special. Later, she got the fries.I don 't know what happened to the corn. Our lunches never arrived 'til after the take-out order. What restaurant does that???We were calm during all of that. Then came time to pay. Our checks were never brought, so one of the group asked for them. The server said You pay on that and pointed to a credit card processor (or not! Keep reading . She said they don 't take payments. One in our group asked What if I want to pay cash? Then the server said she 'd take her payment. For the rest of us, we took our turns on the machine that I had thought was an online menu. One in the group had an incorrect bill. The manager came to help with that but didn 't seem at all concerned that their customer was overcharged. Then it was my turn. My payment did not go through, and the processor gave me a message saying it did not go through because someone was adding an item to our (cumulative? bill. I assumed it was the manager who was trying to fix the errors on my friend 's bill. It also said I 'd have to re-do the payment and that I might see a posting on my credit card account from my initial payment. I certainly didn 't want a double payment, so I said to the manager I did not want to pay using his card processor because it had indicated to me I might see a posting from the initial attempt. He said they do not accept payments other than through their processor. I replied (not heatedly that if that is so, it should be made clear to customers upon arrival. He looked at me but made no apology or even acknowledgement of what I 'd said. He merely took my credit card to see what he could do . Then he passed our table a couple of times with no follow-up and of course, he still had my card. When he came back, he said I 'd have to pay through the processor or else use cash. Fortunately I had cash for if I had not, I would have been an even more unhappy customer than I was. Neither the wait staff nor this manager seemed even slightly concerned at all the missteps and errors in how they handled our orders and payments. People reading this will probably think, Poor Chili 's; they probably don 't have enough staff. That 's not it. They had plenty of staff for the small number of tables occupied with customers. I like Chili 's, but this one is off my list."

"We waited over 2 hours for our food in an empty restaurant. There was a miscommunication, so we were patient and understanding. Upon bringing our food out the waitress dropped half the food on the floor. The other half that we were served was not what we ordered so we had to send it back and wait again. While waiting I felt bad for the waitress because she seemed to be having a rough time, so I started cleaning up the food that she dropped on the floor. After 15 minutes, she brought out a list arguing that I was lying about the partial order being incorrect, because the waitress who took our order (but ended up leaving shortly after) had written it down. I was still patient and explained that she didn 't even take notes while we placed our order so when she went in the back she must have just ended up writing anything old thing down. This waitress ' attitude was awful, even though I made every attempt to be understanding. An extremely obese employee came from the back and explained that she would give us a discount even though at that point I didn 't care for one. To make a long story short, we ended up being overcharged even after explaining that our bill was wrong and being told that they were giving us a senior discount which was laughable. After 3 hours of our time being wasted, an incorrect, meal and an overcharge we just wanted to get our little kids the eff out of there. We will NEVER visit Chili 's again. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. Every employee who worked today should be fired."

"I have been here since about 3:10pm and I’m just getting a drink at 4:00pm the lunch is over, I was told by the bartender it was no happy hour only to be told by the customer next to me that it is happy hour, because that’s what she told him and he’s been ordering all day. The bartender was asking for help and the manager didn’t help or get help until a lady at the bar wanted to leave because of the terrible service. The manager came over did something to the register never acknowledged any of the customers or said anything never apologized for the inconvenience or the long wait. He had the bartender running the bar and half of the floor by herself. I asked to speak to the manager to tell him my frustrations and he didn’t care he didn’t apologize for being understaffed or for the long wait. I asked his name he didn’t want to tell me so I asked the staff, I was told his name is Mr. Oscar. Oscar needs to be retrained as a manager he has no management skills at all. I then asked him was it happy hour cause I was confused because I was told no by staff but yes by customers so I asked the manager to be sure he said no it’s not so I said the customers said they are ordering happy hour, he then said oh yeah from 3-6 ??‍ I have never been to such a circus. But Liyah the bartender was amazing she had great customer service. Thanks again Liyah for your hospitality, you should teach the manager some hospitality. Still didn’t get asked about my food order and it’s 4:25 so I can’t give a review on that."
