"I ordered the Club sandwich with ham and turkey, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of meat, bread, and condiments was perfectly balanced. On the side, I had steak fries, which were tasty, though they could have been a bit crispier and needed a little more seasoning. The kids chose breakfast items: the youngest had silver dollar pancakes (one even came in the shape of Mickey Mouse!), while the oldest went for the Four Deuces. They shared the eggs and bacon; the pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs and bacon were quite good, although the eggs could have used a touch of salt. The service was prompt, everything was served hot and fresh, and overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, Kettle Diner!"

"We dropped by this restaurant late one evening after watching a movie, and we had never heard of it before. However, we would definitely return in a heartbeat. This place leans towards the upscale side of dining, and while some of the entrees can be quite pricey, the food was absolutely fantastic—I wish I had taken some photos. The service was exceptional as well. For us, this is more of a special occasion spot due to the prices, so dress nicely when you go and be ready to spend a bit, but trust me, you’ll be glad you did."

"After frequently visiting this restaurant for three years, our patronage has come to an end due to a lack of professionalism and accountability from the management. I brought my family along after attending a concert the previous night. During the visit, one of our guests ordered a Greek salad and specifically requested no feta. Despite the extended wait caused by the limited staff struggling to meet the guests' demands, we informed our server about the salad issue. The server, who was handling a large party and three other tables on the patio, summoned the manager to our table. The manager's immediate response, blaming our guest for not being aware that the dressing contained feta, was unprofessional. Instead of addressing the minor issue with the salad, we decided to request our check as the manager escalated the situation into a shouting match. We had to ask for water and boxes a second time, having waited over 18 minutes upon arrival without receiving any water. The manager went so far as to remove my salad, which I had hardly touched, and discarded it. When we mentioned this to the manager, he deflected responsibility, making the issue about who moved the plate from the table. The discrepancy was evident since we were short one bowl after ordering four entree salads. As someone who has successfully managed food service establishments for seven years, it's incredibly disappointing to encounter key holders who lack the qualities of true leaders. Instead of listening and understanding, they respond defensively. I anticipate taking this matter to the proper channels, including the Better Business Bureau (BBB), as it's disheartening to believe that unethical practices still persist in 2023. I strongly recommend implementing comprehensive cross-training in workplace practices and effective escalation management"

"Cozy, cute, great service, laid back atmosphere, awesome! I hadn?t been to The Mill at Puppy Creek. I didn?t see puppies but it is on the creek and it was cute to see the water moving them rough the wall of windows. There was an upstairs and a bar.Everyone seemed like they were at home. It just felt comfortable and good. There was some tables outside and a group was therehaving drinks. It really felt like everyone knew each other and the employees were so nice it was like they were going to add usinto the family. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and the quesadilla for dinner. The food was priced less than Iexpected. We didn?t get dessert but I will return just because it?s nice to go out and not feel shuffled to a table with musicso loud you can?t think. We will return!"

"My wife and I have went to The Pour House twice. Same results...No one acknowledged our arrival after 15 minutes of sitting at a table. The first time we were more patient and stayed. Food was average but service was horrible. Second time was tonight. We felt maybe the first try was an isolated incident. Not!!!! Same result. We left after just over 15 minutes. Not one employee looked our way. Just a horrible attitude and service. We recommend that no one would go to this establishment. We certainly won't."

"One thing that I absolutely love about being part of humanity is that each of us has our own feelings and thoughts. Isn 't it amazing that you can be very close to somebody, and yet find out that several of your other close friends don 't like them. Or you go see a Broadway show and you walk out loving it to find out that the others in your group hated it. No one is right and no one is wrong. Each of us has our own perspective and taste, and that makes the world go round and makes it all so interesting! I say that as I begin this review of Jay 's Deli at Friendly Shopping Center because as much as I have been completely baffled over the years why anybody would want to go there, when I went there for lunch the other day due to the choice of my guest, the place was absolutely packed with at least 20 people waiting to get in. I don 't understand that. Jay 's is a deli? I don 't know, but where I come from in New York, a deli is a place you go for outstanding sandwiches like pastrami and corned beef and delicious side dishes like potato salad and coleslaw. To me, Jay 's is one big plastic factory The place is conveniently located at Friendly Shopping Center and there is plenty of parking nearby. As I approached the deli I could not believe how packed it was. Like I said, people were lined up waiting to get in. My guest already had a table waiting for us, so I was happy to join her and was immediately given the bland menu. It was a day I was trying to be healthy and so I ordered a grilled chicken salad. The food came pretty quickly considering how busy the place was, but when I saw what was on my plate, it was understandable t There was very little prep time needed. Some shredded lettuce, a few pieces of tomato and a piece of chicken drowning in some sweet barbecue sauce that I did not like. Nothing had changed since the last time I had been there several years ago. That salad could have been prepared at a Wendy 's drive-thru and I would not have been able to tell the difference. In retrospect, I should have scraped off all of that brown goo that they put on top of the pitiful salad that I was given. It did not take me long to finish it, and I was still hungry when I was done, and if I did not hate the food there so much I would have ordered something else, but I was not in the mood for another piece of plastic to eat I have to give Jay 's Deli props because they have been around as long as I can remember and people love that place as long as I can remember and I have not liked that place as long as I can remember! Service and location was good. Food was lousy. It 's not that easy to get a good deli sandwich in Greensboro, but I say without hesitation, Jay 's Deli ain 't it! Next time you go to New York check out Katz 's Deli on Houston Street and you will know what I 'm talking about. In the meantime, if you want something fast and convenient and don 't care about the taste or quality Jay 's Deli is the place to be!"

"We initially wanted to go to Amalfi, but when I saw the 90s vibe there, I changed my mind. Instead, we decided to try Sixty Six and discovered a little hidden gem. My partner enjoys having tweezers or more finely presented dishes, and he was definitely pleased. I ordered the Southwest egg rolls while my partner opted for the Carolina burger. He was a bit hesitant because of the homemade chili, but he was very satisfied with the flavor and the chef’s preparation of the burger. The Southwest egg rolls were incredibly delicious with a bit of a spicy kick. Usually, leftovers don’t reheat well, but the tweezers and the Southwest egg rolls heated up perfectly, staying crispy and tasting just as good as they did in the restaurant. We’ve added this place to our favorites on Google Maps, so we definitely plan to return."

"Cherry Pit Cafe has restored my belief in TRUE comfort food. I’ve tried a little of everything and A LOT of what I love. There is nothing that isn’t fantastic on the menu. The chicken pot pie is amazing and the Shepherds Pie is beyond great. Cornbread, mashed potatoes, Mac&Cheese, French fries and every other side is fantastic. I crave the potato, cheese soup once a week and the quiches are so good. We’re trying the Pie Shake for the first time tonight. I’m not a sweets fan but I’m surprising my girlfriend, who will love it. So thankful this Lake Jeanette dweller has found the BEST food in Greensboro!!!! 6 stars!!!!"

"My experience here is very disturbing. I had been looking for a good pastrami or corn beef sandwich and was told about this shop not far from where I work. I entered the shop and noticed customers sitting enjoying these sandwiches stacked with a nice amount of meat and it reminded me of the sandwich I was looking for. They had a special of grilled rye grilled corn beef and cheddar. I ordered the sandwich with difference of the bread and cheese. When I received my sandwich I literally had 5half sliced meat with sliced half cheese. Was then told that my sandwich was not on the menu and that's why I had less meat. This of course did not make sense to me. I myself am a Chef and would never tell a customer that nor treat them different. At that point I felt racially profiled and humiliated at the way I was treated. To matters worse when I told the cashier my feeling she proceeded to raise her voice at me telling I got what I ordered. I hope that the owners will give their employees a little more training on customer service and manners."

"Had an amazing Try It Tuesday at The Bridge Restaurant in Hemby Bridge! All about amazing experience. The atmosphere was beautiful and their autumn decorations really put you in the Thanksgiving Spirit! Your service was great, and the French bathroom was absolutely delicious! Not only do they have great food in the restaurant, but it is a place for ice cream and a playground for the children, if you just have the little ones for a sweet treat and some fresh air. I cannot wait to go back, not only to try other things on the menu, but to see how they can decorate for the coming holiday season!"

"If you find yourself in Charlotte, NC, you simply have to visit Bobbee O's. This outstanding BBQ joint was once featured in Parade Magazine as one of the top three best BBQ spots in the USA. It's run by the legendary BBQ Maestro himself, Bobbee O. The experience here is exceptional! I tried the Brisket Combo meal, and every part of it was fantastic. The brisket was the best I've ever had, the coleslaw was finely chopped, sweet, and delicious. The fries and hushpuppies were also top-notch. Plus, they offer Cheerwine as a soft drink choice! If you head to the counter, you’ll be lucky enough to be served by 'All Smiles' Allie, who will take care of you with a warm welcome. Both Bobbee O and 'All Smiles' Allie truly enhance the experience!"

"Wasn't busy, place was clean, and service was at a good pace. We went on a Sunday at lunch time. Since the pandemic we did not get a menu, they want you to use a qr code at the table. I don't use them so I asked for a menu and I did get one. Menu is simple and not over the top. The mac n cheese jalapeño balls with Chipotle ranch were the bomb. I got a grilled chicken bacon and ranch sandwich. The ranch was separate and that was nice. Chicken was cooked perfect and it was delicious. Fries were spot on. Chicken tenders were fresh and the hotdogs are generous. I would definitely come back if in the area again. They have plenty of tvs going and a outdoor area that is big."
