"Five of us had a table in the back. It was nicely spaced from the other dinners. We loved that we were not rushed. We had drinks and then gave our antipasti. The cornmeal crusted artichoke hearts were tasty. I had the salmon which was cooked through because that is how I wanted it. My husband had the branzino which he said was nicely made with a crispy skin. We passed on the dessert. We would definitely go back. My only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the recorded music as it interfered with our conversation."

"If you do happen to have a less-than-perfect experience, remember that it can happen anywhere from time to time. However, the Peppers team has always been accommodating and, in my experience, has done their best to address any issues. That level of service is truly commendable. The restaurant has a lively ambiance, and their dining rooms are great for hosting large parties, available for rent to suit various occasions. The bar area is vibrant, while the dining area provides a quieter atmosphere for guests who prefer a more relaxed setting. The owner, Sal, is a fantastic individual. Through my parents, I've had the pleasure of getting to know him, and it’s clear he cares deeply about both his business and the community. I have nothing but positive things to say about Peppers!"

"We attended mother's day buffet. Food was OK but not top notch. i expected, but didn't see, pasta station, omelet maker, etc. Service was fair, but acceptable. What was not acceptable to me was an included, and hidden, 22% tip for a buffet. We won't be going back."

"Cool place with a casual chic atmosphere. Not too trendy, not too classic, just the perfect mix. Vichy tablecloths, red leather seats, copper and wood. Fun monkey illustrations on the wall. The room in the back is a bit fancier. Good cocktails, decent selection of wine. Live piano when we were there on a Saturday night. Service was not enthusiastic but good enough."

"It was a bit confusing as to how it worked. We were in the lounge section and someone âpointed â us to where our table was. Then it took at least minutes for the server to come. We had to ask how to proceed. Although she was very nice we had to keep looking for her for help. Walking across the entry to get to the food was frustrating as there were people coming in, people leaving and those with full plates of food that we had to navigate through. Then no one picked up our dirty plates! You definitely needed more servers for the amount of people there. My suggestion is each room should have their own food station which would alleviate all the confusion. You wouldnât lose any seating as the tables would replace the food station."

"The service we received at this restaurant was very friendly and attentive. We chose to split the antipasti for one, which was simple with only cold cuts and two slices of provolone, but it lacked dressing. My companion ordered the lasagne, which was a good size and delicious, although he was informed that it was meatless when it wasn't. I decided on the Veal Marsala with mushrooms, which was tasty and had tender veal (something rare in most restaurants). The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Despite not being in my neighborhood, I would probably come back again."

"Steak was good prime angus beef cooked the way I asked. Salmon was dry though. Waitress forgot to give us the specials until we asked and didn't come by often to check if we needed anything, when I did. Very crowded and and noisy setting if you are looking for a setting more personal."

"Check your final bill carefully! Our itemized bill came back around $125. They brought back a credit card receipt for us to sign that was $159. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he went off and explained that after he brought us our itemized bill, somehow two additional glasses of wine were added to our tab. Although we appreciate the explanation, I don 't think we really received an apology there was no surprise, remorse, or anything that suggested that the restaurant wanted to make amends for the mistake. (I had supposed that the restaurant would normally lock out the tab once they print the itemized bill and bring it to the table but that 's clearly NOT the case here. Otherwise, the restaurant is in a great spot, it 's beautifully decorated, and the service was fine (until they brought the check . I love when Italian pasta shines and is complimented by the sauce. But here, the pasta sauces overwhelmed the pasta. It was passable not disturbing in any way, but surely also not memorable. But really, I am still flumoxed by the bill mishap was it an honest mistake or a scam? I wish that I had confidence that it was just a mistake. But the way that the restaurant responded didn 't suggest that they cared."

"The restaurant is beautiful with lovely decorations. We went for our anniversary on a Thursday as we heard there is live music. Unfortunately the layout of the restaurant is strange and we were seated by the bar across from a tv and people watching sports. Felt more like a sports bar than a romantic Italian restaurant. The performer was moving between two places but we could not see him in either place as he was behind us. The food was poor unfortunately and portions are very small. The focaccia bread and olive oil was very good but our meatball appetizer had no flavor and the tomato sauce felt like was just opened from a can. The ahi tuna dish had no flavor and were two small pieces. The soup was tiny and the desserts while good were bite size. The restaurant seems to have a lot of tourists who are in tennis shoes and shorts, not at all what one would expect from such restaurant’s atmosphere and prices. Service is very good the hostess and waitress were lovely. The manager stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our time. My suggestion would be to sit people based on the intent of their visit, give a small area or stage for the entertainment that visitors can see and improve food quality and sizes."

"This charming restaurant offers excellent service, a diverse menu, and an extensive wine selection that may be a bit pricey for some. The standout dish was the Veal Loin Scaloppine, prepared in a Piccata style with a flavorful lemon caper butter sauce, creamy potato puree, and garlic spinach. The Fig Salad was also impressive, featuring fresh greens, crispy pancetta, and mild blue cheese, though we wished for more marinated figs. The Lobster Ravioli was tasty but overshadowed by a strong mushroom sauce. With careful dish selection and a few glasses of wine, a meal here can be affordable."

"We stopped in on a Sunday for a special they have. I guess it was supposed to be for take out only. But the manager let us eat in anyway. It's a one topping 12 cut pizza and 1 dozen whole wings for $19.99. What an excellent deal! We added a white pizza and 2 beers. $45.00 that included tip. And do we have leftovers! Lacie was our server. She was great! Pizzas were good. But the chicken wings were the best!"

"I've been to Lucia's multiple times. I live right up the street, so when I'm craving Italian or a sub I come here. They have a sub lunch special that the price is pretty good. The fries are amazing! I normally do not like french fries, so the only other place that I eat fries is Five Guys. I've had two different pastas, and they were both good, but they are on the pricey side. I've had pizza once, and I wasn't a fan. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't a flavor palette I wanted/enjoyed. On the cold sub with prosciutto, cheese, and roasted peppers, the peppers overpower the flavor of everything else. It sounds good on paper, but the actual sub isn't as great only because all I could taste was peppers. Overall, I highly recommend Lucia's. It is a little pricey if you don't get their specials, but I would rather support local restaurants over big chains any day. Also, their desserts are great, and you can order them to go. The cannoli is amazing!"

"Came for lunch special. Ordered the Bianca pizza which tasted really good. Comes with fries or salad. Ordered the Truffle fries which is great as usual. I visit the restaurant infrequently. The taste of the food I try when I visit is always consistently fresh and well prepared. I've tried five different types of pizzas. Three types of pasta dishes and the drinks are unique and they use fresh fruit if part of the drink. Chef Alex is great and the staff is very accommodating."

"Been here a decent amount of times eat in and take out and they have gotten worse and worse. The older woman behind the counter is very rude and nasty. The most recent time I ordered for delivery. Two pepperoni rolls for my kids and I specified sauce on the side but of course there was no sauce. Then the chicken scarp only had maybe 5 little pieces of chicken and some cherry peppers. Also the bread was stale. This place has gone downfall hard. On top of that I spent almost $60 on a chicken scarp dinner and some pizza rolls. Terrible."

"My husband took me on a date to a fancy Italian restaurant. The food was exquisite. The beet salad, the califlower salad is definitely to try for. Especially when you have a great appetite and if you are on a healthy diet. The next was the pasta. The pasta i had was great. Seasoned well. All made from scratch. You can see the chefs preparing it. Amazing to see hard work and even better when you taste it. We even had the pork chop. It was delicious. Just melted in your mouth. Afterwards, we ordered the desert. The honeycomb was nice and sweet and the Ice-cream just melted in your mouth. The apricot cake was good too. The service was wonderful. The waiters really took care of you and gave you exactly what you need. Friendly and kind. You can see they love working here and greeting everyone they meet. The chef and the sou chefs are wonderful too. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely comeback here."

"Old-school Italian family restaurant. There are tables for small groups but this place can also handle large groups like for bridal showers, baptism christening lunches, or even just a big family gathering. This place has big after-church-gathering vibes. Location is in West Stamford and parking is tight, so either find street parking or use the restaurant's valet parking. Parking: Parking is either free street parking or use the valet in the restaurant parking lot. Kid-friendliness: This place is 100% kid friendly. "We had a drink here after a show at Carnegie Hall. It’s a very lovely hotel and the bar is very comfortable. The drinks were pricey but delicious. That said, the hard surface bar area was noisy because of the background music. It was difficult for us to have a conversation. We had a lot to talk about as we had just seen a concert! What a shame that such a beautiful bar is clueless about their acoustics and the comfort of their customers. We won’t be back."
