"These two weeks, Eataly is doing a promotion that it costs about $26 for a 2 course meal. So my Italian girlfriend and I decided to try it out, however it was extremely disappointing…?One of the most iconic dish in Italy, Bruschetta, was served with half a toast and some ricotta cheese with a little of honey drizzle… completely different from what bruschetta is.We also order arancini, which is another iconic Italian food. It only came with two fried balls. Inside, it is not stuffed, it was simply just a fried risotto ball with some peas, which has minimal flavor and cheese. It comes with no sauce.Salad was very simple, anyone who knows how to chop can make it, nothing fancy, portion is small.Pizza was a bit better and authentic, not too bad, but it costed EXTRA $8The fettuccine pasta, costed extra $10. They were supposed to cook the pasta hot, place it in a wheel of parmigiano reggiano cheese, let the cheese melt and mix it with the pasta, and then serve on the plate in front of you. Initially the server did it with another customer by mistake, and then she just handed the pasta to us. It was already cold/warm by the time it was handed to us. We talked to the server about how the pasta wasn’t hot and we missed the show, they just use the same plate of pasta, which we had eaton and tried, into the same wheel of cheese and did it in front of us. By the time it was on the plate in front of us, it was cold, not even warm. The flavor was there but it’s a plate of cold pasta.Overall, I paid about $100 for 2 people. A lot of items require you to pay extra. The portion is small. Quality isn’t great. I could have a lot nicer Italian food somewhere else. Eataly gave me a fast food vibe, but just the environment is a bit nicer, pretend to be a fine dining restaurant.As a foodie who loves and knows Italian food, I will NOT come back and I advise people NOT to go there. There are a lot of other nicer Italian restaurants, including Piano Piano, Trattoria Neevosa, Tosto… that serve really good Italian food that worth the money you spent."

"This was our second visit to Donato as we wanted to give it another chance after our initial experience on Valentine's Day, which was marred by some issues due to the holiday and a system failure. As a result, we ended up spending nearly three hours at the restaurant, mostly waiting and growing impatient for our meals. This time, we brought a friend along for a random Friday night dinner with a reservation. Unfortunately, the service was just as slow as before. It took about half an hour for our orders to be taken, and then we waited another hour for our food to arrive. To add to our frustration, we received a dessert menu before our last dish was even served. When we inquired about it, we were informed that it had never been put into the system and wouldn't be coming. I fail to understand the high ratings this place receives. The food is mediocre considering the prices, the service is sluggish, and it appears that the kitchen staff is overwhelmed and unable to deliver meals in a timely manner. I truly wanted to enjoy this restaurant given its glowing reviews, but it seems the only patrons who are appreciating it are older couples, which makes me think that if you don't fit that demographic, you might want to think twice about dining here. This will be our second and final visit."

"The food was delicious and the wines were also good! We tried a red sparkling wine that was a pleasant surprise. The gnocchi was just okay and the pizza was small in size, but tasted great. When we asked for dessert recommendations, we were suggested to try the Ricotta Cheesecake, which is apparently famous in NYC. It definitely lived up to the hype! The restaurant is located in downtown and has a great atmosphere. Overall, we highly recommend it!"

"Had lunch on a weekday and didn't need reservations. There is plenty of seating in and out. Decor was nice, wine list was pretty good (sold by glass, 1/2 bottle full bottle), number of menu options was decent. Had a chicken salad with portobello mushrooms, a pasta dish, and tartuffo for dessert. Main thing I didn't care for was the limited parking. Luckily I got there early and got the last spot. "My girlfriend and I stopped for an early dinner a couple months ago and were genuinely surprised how good the food was as well as how much fun Jena our waitress was. We've been back a couple more times since and were not disappointed by our meals. The food is always excellent, the price great, the service great regardless how busy the restaurant gets, serving size is amazing and Jena always remembers us!!! We will always request her to be our waitress every time we return which we will. Please share this with her and tell her Mark and Wendy do go to Mangias for her attentiveness, her efficiency and definitely her personality as much as we come to enjoy the amazing food!!! "We had high expectations for this restaurant but those were changed after waiting 20 minutes for any waiter/waitress to come by our table. Thankfully Christian stopped by our table and couldn’t believe we hadn’t even gotten drinks. His service was incredible but the rest of our dinner experience quite poor. Our food fair at best after waiting 45 minutes more for that. Unfortunately we won’t be back."

"The food was very good and loved that they offered indoor AND outdoor seating. I ate inside as it was humid outside, but with that said it was still warm inside (I suspect because I was seated near the door which was kept open for ease of access for thewait staff between the indoor and outdoor guests). It was also very loud inside both loud music which made surrounding tables(and mine) talk loudly too so we could hear each other. LOVED that there was table seating and not chairs. As a larger/plus sizeperson I worry about small booths and seating options. The chairs outside appear to be metal and fairly sturdy. The chairsinside were a bit flimsier, the typical hollowed wood bistro styled chairs. But with that said, my chair was wobbly and even soit did hold together just fine and I wasn't panicking that it would break through the meal so we good. Wait staff was friendlyand the bill was wonderfully portioned out by seat so we could easily split the bill among the party. Would love to see what itis like eating outside in the autumn when the weather is a bit cooler."

"We just got back from dinner at LaPosta, and my husband was so unsatisfied with his small portion that he had to make himself a sandwich as soon as we got home. We were charged a corkage fee of $35 for our first bottle and $50 for the second, which seemed incredibly excessive. We were dining with friends, and the whole experience felt quite outrageous. I doubt we'll be going back anytime soon, if ever! Additionally, they didn't notify us about the corkage fees beforehand, and the service was lacking."

"Wow! A friend of mine when asked ‘what’s your go to Italian recommendation in Lagrange’, told me Antonio’s! I am so glad he did. Wow! The service impeccable. On a cold, Saturday night, my 4 person party was met by server extraordinaire Nanette. Excellent! It only got better from here. Calamari is probably the best I’ve had in the country no joke! And I’ve been all over. The freshest, lightly fried, melt in your mouth calamari. You won’t go wrong ordering it. Paired well with the Pinot Grigio she recommended. Salad and FRESH minestrone soup (which I normally don’t order) were excellent as well. The minestrone was so fresh, seasoning just right, I stopped using my spoon, picked that bowel up to my mouth like I was finishing the last bit of Frosted Flakes in a cereal bowl, and went to town! Almost ordered another bowl but had to move on to entrees… Which got more rewarding as we kept eating. Someone ordered Chicken Lemone excellent! Another, Spinach Lasagna excellent! Me had to have the Gnocchi and asked for spinach thrown in, Nanette TOLD me I wouldn’t regret my decision guess what? I didn’t, it was excellent! Man on third trying to steal home… Nanette sees our almost filled faces, says must have dessert. Of course we said no, we’re good. She’s like, but the cannoli freshest in America…yada yada, you get where this is going. Two cannolis AND two espressos later we’re done! It was THE freshest cannoli, ever! Home run!! If you’re reading this, really wondering can it be real, I would suggest you RUN not walk to get a reservation and eat here. You’ll be coming back saying dude was right!"

"Nice little cozy spot, almost like a hole in the wall. Super packed on weekends we sat outside, seated right at the beginning of the entry walkway. Got the pizette as a starter and was shocked to see it come out the way it came out, but it was delicious. Crispy and warm, it was the perfect small bite to start the dinner. The wine (I forgot what I ordered unfortunately! was just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness that should be in a wine above my budget hit just the right spot. For entrees, ordered the cavatelli with wild boar ragu was perfectly cooked but not seasoned well enough. Was lacking just a touch in salt, and it wasn’t just me the guy next table over ordered the same dish and requested some salt to the waitress. Food was still decent, but was hoping for more due to the price point in terms of portion/flavor. Service was helpful though and it was still a great night had by all."

"Overall enjoyable dining experience for two adult couples. The food was very good and service was very attentive. We ordered the oven-baked burrata cheese and tuna tartare for appetizers; both were excellent. For entrees, we had the sea bass (two), vegetali (vegetable pasta), and veal osso buco. Everyone enjoyed their food, but the meat of the osso buco was surprisingly a little dry, although the flavor and seasonings were very good. We accompanied our meal with a Super Tuscan wine Il Borro (Merlot and Sangiovese blend), which was nice after it opened up a little after 15 to 20 minutes. Prices are reasonable (approximately $70/person before tip, including the wine). Definitely recommend for a nice meal in a cozy setting."

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. "I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"We ate here with our kids and had a nice meal. Children had a buffet for them that worked out great and. Ore high-end restaurants should obey this call. $ 15 apiece, but lots of options kids love, plus desserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a little over the top and tasteless. My wife had the fillet that was served over a zucchini and pumpkin tomato vegetable which really didn't go very well with it. Read reviews and told page of Russell sprouts got roasted but they arrived steamed and tasteless again. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. We ate at the Pacific Grille the night before and the food was much tastier."

The patio offers stunning views of the meadow and riverside. There is ample parking available on site, as well as in a nearby parking lot and free city parking just a block away. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was relaxed, making it a great spot to hang out on the patio."
