"The food was very good and loved that they offered indoor AND outdoor seating. I ate inside as it was humid outside, but with that said it was still warm inside (I suspect because I was seated near the door which was kept open for ease of access for thewait staff between the indoor and outdoor guests). It was also very loud inside both loud music which made surrounding tables(and mine) talk loudly too so we could hear each other. LOVED that there was table seating and not chairs. As a larger/plus sizeperson I worry about small booths and seating options. The chairs outside appear to be metal and fairly sturdy. The chairsinside were a bit flimsier, the typical hollowed wood bistro styled chairs. But with that said, my chair was wobbly and even soit did hold together just fine and I wasn't panicking that it would break through the meal so we good. Wait staff was friendlyand the bill was wonderfully portioned out by seat so we could easily split the bill among the party. Would love to see what itis like eating outside in the autumn when the weather is a bit cooler."

The salad and bread were very good. The main courses were ok but very, very small portions. I welcome small plates if the prices are appropriate. Main courses range from $ 40 to $ 32.

Our dinner was great. The food was cooked to perfection, nice presentation and charming atmosphere. The plates are very small, so large eaters can still be hungry. Will definitely be bad again.

Excellent food and attentive service. nice presentation. I was very pleased. I wish the portions were a little bigger. I agree with previous reviews that said they are not hungry. I had the buratta salad, char and the white chocolate mousse for dessert. The noise level was higher than ideal - had some difficulty hearing my friend sitting over the table. Overall, the food will definitely come back at a very high level! View menu

This restaurant is clearly a neighborhood gem. My brother recently moved to the neighborhood so we tried this place, we came for brunch and sat at the bar. The barista was kind and made a great coffee. My brother told the barista that he hadn’t had a good coffee in a long time, Oscar knows his stuff. He made some great food recommendations, we got the uova tartufo and the French toast… they were amazing you must try. Will be returning soon.

This is our new local BYOB favorite. We have been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is excellent. If you like well prepared food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting beautifully plated food then this is a great place. We went twice and both times they were great with diet restrictions too. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!), But also a great place to visit friends and relatives, or to have a special evening or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We will come back in any case.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
