"I completely understand that management doesn’t have full control over how customers behave, but the young male waitstaff was lingering around their booth, practically engaging in lap dances with these women. There was no effort from management to address this situation; instead, the staff seemed to encourage it. I hope the owners or management take note of this review and take appropriate action. We will not be coming back. As for kid-friendliness, this place is definitely NOT suitable for children, given the customers shouting obscenities and the waitstaff's inappropriate behavior."

"Forbearance! Platz is hands down the worst pizza place I've ever experienced. The pizza was undercooked and just plain awful. I ordered delivery tonight, and the pizza looked like it had been tossed around in the box, with the cheese sticking to the top. I even pointed this out to the delivery person, but there's a reason I chose delivery in the first place. I've never seen anyone complain openly about undercooked pizza there in all these years. To make matters worse, the wings were overly salty. I wouldn’t have felt the need to write this review if I hadn’t been treated so poorly. I just had to share my experience."

"absolutely fantastic! the food is always good. today in particular I came in with my senior neighbor, and her walker. she is very picky and very specific about things.out waitresses was beyond accommodating, and didn't flinch at all of our requests. she even knew what restaurant was in this location prior, it's was stumping the 2 of us being local. "This is our new favorite Mexican spot! This location (opened in 2018), is tastefully decorated and very clean! I really like their salsa, white dip and melted cheese dip with tortilla chips (which all, except the cheese dip, comes complementary with meal or drinks). We've ordered everything from their monster burritos to fajitas and everything has been fresh, generous and yummy! Their fresh guacamole dip is delicious and made right in front of you. That alone can be a meal! Service is prompt and attentive. We've been with parties as large as 20+ and the waiters and waitresses still managed to serve everything as ordered and at the same time. Bonus: The margaritas are NOT made with that yucky tasting mix found in so many Mexican restaurants. They are the real deal! They give you the option of salted or sugared rim. Generous with the tequila. Muy bien!"

"We made a reservation for six and arrived right on time, where we were seated promptly. We had a cozy corner bench with one person at the table. The menu was easy to read and offered a wide variety of choices. Our waiter was extremely accommodating. My Mexican husband said the food tasted very authentic—one of the best meals we've had here in the states. The decor created a comfortable atmosphere, and the rest of our party felt the same way. We will definitely be returning!"

"Great!. My wife and I have eaten there two times since the reopening. Service is extremely fast, even if they are packed. Looks good. Food is great, people are friendly. I only have two complaints. # You need to make sure that the parking space is salted and ploughed. Both times we were there, it was a little irony. #2 The chili cheese only fries in 1 size that really looks like a child portion. My wife ordered the sweet potatoes, and they came on a much larger plate. Please provide a larger size for a real cone island fan. Both times we were on Saturday at 5:00, and both times we were in and out in about 30 minutes."

"During the many times my group has dined here, both in-house and for takeout, we've had significantly more negative experiences than positive ones. The waitstaff have been unwelcoming and rarely check in on you after taking your order. Additionally, we’ve noticed a lack of coffee refills. As for the takeout service, we often find that items are missing, and there seems to be a lack of attention to detail when packaging the meals, resulting in soggy and disorganized containers. The food and service are just average, which is frustrating. There are plenty of other nearby restaurants that provide a better overall experience. After so many chances, returning here will be difficult."

"I can’t believe I have never given this outstanding restaurant a review. We eat here frequently. The service tonight as every time we have eaten here was outstanding! The food is the best and I have actually been to Puerto Vallarta. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! The prices lower than expected. $45 for 2 dinners and drinks. I had a large draft and my son a soda. Chips and salsa were included. We added queso.also you have to try the homemade hot sauce!! The flavor is delicious but be warned it’s called hot for a reason. I will try to remember to get some photos on our next visit! Until then do not pass by this hidden gem!"

"I come here often with my husband and my adult children. We enjoy coming in and supporting a family ran business. The food is great and it always tastes the same which is, for me, important. A lot of restaurants since Covid, have changed out their ingredients for cheaper ones and sacrificed taste to save money. This is not the case at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive and we have a great experience every time. They take cash or debit/credit cards. There is also an option if you pay with debit/credit where you can add the tip to the bill so you don't have to leave a cash tip if you don't carry cash on you. The atmosphere is great, they have a few TVs on the walls so you can watch TV while you eat. It is family friendly so you can bring your younger kids in with you. They do sell adult beverages. My husband generally gets a corona and I usually get a tropical margarita. I only eat either the tacos carne asada (steak) with corn tortillas, or their chipotle burrito. My husband loves their Colorado burrito. Its very spicy and he likes his hot peppers. My son either goes for the tacos carne asada with corn tortillas or shrimp fajitas. If you have a shellfish intolerance or allergy they do serve shellfish, but I have not had any issues with cross contamination and luckily not had an allergic reaction. My daughter usually goes for their chicken and white queso... I forget the actual name of it, forgive me. She loves it and orders it every time we come in. The prices are affordable and if you're on a tight budget you're paying about the same as you would for a meal at certain unnamed burger places... But with way more food, that tastes way better than the processed meat you get at a fast food burger joint, and with better ambiance than the local fastfood places. Its a great place for celebrations, get togethers, dates etc. I am not certain but I think they might do take out catering. I will ask and edit my post next time I go in to reflect a yes or no on that. My husband and I want to renew our vows and are actually wanting to order from them for our reception when we do our renewal of vows. You should definitely check them out! Try their chorizo con queso as a side to go with your tortilla chips. Its amazing! this place and glad to have found them. They're located in Plainfield Indiana and are not far from Five and Below. If you get a chance to come in and see them, do so. You won't be disappointed!"

My aunt remembered this place from years ago when she last visited Detroit (8 years ago) and it did not disappoint last time or this time. The food was very flavourful, you can tell it was made with care and true passion. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed like family by the employees and customers!
