"After moving from bk to si two years ago, i was seriously missing bk style pizza and I swear this place has exactly that! I love their pizza because it has perfect crust that isn’t too thin too thick or too doughy or burnt. It also has perfect cheese to sauce ratio, not too much and not too little. I love their eggplant and olive toppings along with mixed pies of meats and veggies. I also love their calzones, pasta dishes and salads. In other words, literally every single thing i tried here has not disappointed me. The wait time is also not long for pickup and staff on the phone and in person are so friendly they really appreciate your business."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant. It is hands down my favorite place to be. While I am not a huge fan of the food and find that there are only a couple of dishes I enjoy, the service can be quite slow at night or on weekends. However, I am in love with the atmosphere of the restaurant. I will happily spend an hour sipping on my coffee just to relax. I particularly enjoy the outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and I appreciate the friendly and familiar daytime staff. They always remember me and my kids, our orders, and are consistently welcoming. I also appreciate the unique and delicious food and coffee options that are not easily found elsewhere. Despite being in NYC, I doubt I could find strapatsada or the perfect Cafe or Iced Viennesse anywhere else. This place is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a celebration, date night, or just hanging out. Even after renovations, it remains a beloved neighborhood establishment full of cherished memories. It's always a good time at this restaurant. The coke is also quite tasty, although not suitable for those with gluten intolerance. I personally enjoy it, even if it means a bit of suffering afterward."

"Best French 75!! We ended up here after a long wait at a location near by and had a wonderful experience. Pason had so much knowledge about cocktails, so we started with about 5 different drinks and ended up staying for the food. The falafel and stuffed grape leaves are exceptional. I highly recommend the stop!"

"The delivery person was quite rude. Earlier that day, someone had stolen a package from my home, so I was being extra cautious about who was at my door, even though I was expecting my order. He kept repeating "delivery," and I asked him three times where it was from. Then he huffed out, "Delivery? Or no delivery?" Eventually, he mentioned it was from Casa Calamari. They only gave me one meatball, but I have to say, the meatball and ravioli were both very good. I also enjoyed the chocolate cake, which was quite delicious."

"This place is great..I can literally walk there they have the best vegan/gluten free pizza you will ever have in your life! If I had to drive hours to come here, I would. I have also recently tried the vegan/gluten free brownie it was so deceptive I would wager money that no one will be able to say that it is not milk or gluten. It was $6 for 1 brownie I thought was extremely high. If it were less, I would definitely get it much more often, but $12 for two is too high for me. At this point, I can make a batch myself... still in a pinch.. overtakes delicious. Come here if you're 1. Love good food, 2. Have food restrictions 3. Want to have the best pizza of your life. (Your BBQ sauce is to die for) They also have many not vegan / gluten free products as well as what they offer is incredible!!! You have to try, you won't be disappointed."

"Many years ago, when I was a kid growing up in Rego Park, Avellino was our local pizza place, and my mom would send me over their every other week or so to carry home a large pie for dinner. I haven't been there in about 30 years because I've lived inFlorida, North Carolina, and Virginia. I'm back in town and met two friends for dinner last night. One suggested Avellino, and Imust say, it was wonderful returning to a beloved restaurant. The food is still great and very reasonably priced. I had thegnocchi with pesto and bolognese sauce. Excellent, and I'm more than old enough to have a beer with dinner now as well. Myfriends enjoyed their entrees too. The staff there was very friendly and took wonderful care of us. It was an unexpectedpleasure to discover, in these uncertain times, that a gem from my past still sparkles as brightly today."

"Failed Experiment in AI Robots The Sunday service is tailored towards all you can eat $42.99 “Ambar Experience.” At least that is how they apparently program their experimental AI robot server. It (a very realistic human depiction) meets you at the table and slightly overenthusiastically says “I’ll be taking care of you,” and offers a menu with no prices listed other than the $42.99 one. When later told by us that we were not that hungry, and just wanted an entrée, it said “it comes out about the same.” When asked if the Meat Pie was indeed $42.99, a small smoke trail began trickling from its ears, and its eyes went in a circle before acknowledging “no, the Meat Pie does not cost $42.99.” When asked, it was able to deliver a menu with entrée prices listed. About 15 minutes later it returned, beginning by asking if we wanted the “Ambar Experience.” We said no, and stated clearly and slowly that we wanted entrees, which it finally accepted. About 20 minutes later it returned as introduced itself, saying “I’ll be taking care of you.” It appeared to be the same robot in appearance as the earlier one, but if so its memory had been deleted or wiped we assumed. When we noted we had already ordered, it said “no one brought it out yet? Sorry about that.” Fascinating as this all was as an experiment with robotic AI servers, we actually did want a bite to eat, so we left. This place gets good reviews, and we tried the food once before and it was good, and the music was creative and cool (as is the culture from that part of the world), but we cannot recommend the Sunday “Ambar Experience” at least to those who are not in the AI industry. In any event, with service so slow, we suspect the all-you-can-eat bargain is diminished by the slow roll serving, but this is just conjecture. "Excellent from beginning to end. Waitress was extremely pleasant food was incredible. The size of the portion I had never experienced before except if it was a family style place. "12/5/2018 Ate a slice at Ray's today after first going to, The District restaurant to eat. See their Yelp review from me. At Ray's, I got the Chocolate cake for dessert. And a Pizza slice because I was still hungry. It was delicious. chicken breast, bacon, tomatoes, ranch dsg, a white cheese, but not mozzarella. I can't remember what all was on it and I forgot to take a pix. When you go in, look for it. It won't disappoint. Happy Eats 11/13/2018 Ate at Ray's. Hadn't eaten all day, so i felt like something unhealthy and a lot of it. LoL I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and wanted Onion Rings. The worker suggested instead of my ordering separately, to get the combo meal that also came with a canned drink to save money. That was kind. Felt appreciated as a customer. And it wasn't about the bottom line...Mulah. I didn't take photos. The CheeseSteak was great. The Onion Rings however is a large portion, but I'd never order again. After leaving Ray's I went to Rite Aide to get a bottle of water to drink. Get back to the room, then it hit me, my combo came with a drink. Ah Man!! So don't do what I did if you go. Happy Eating"

"Hands down the best pizza in the area. If you're looking for a good patio, you found one...or two. They make their own hot sauce, you can watch the hand-tossed art go down, they play good tunes, and have wet ranch. I base a lot of reviews on their ranch, and this is so damn good ranch. We got a slice of veggie and a slice of the meat special. Both blew away our expectations. I don't think Google Reviews will let me have enough characters to describe how amazing their staff is.
