"The name West End Wine Bar Pub doesn't do much justice to the restaurant. In my opinion, this is an amazing business-casual farm-to-table restaurant and bar! This is great choice for dinner. There is a pub downstairs. Excellent salads, appetizers, entrees, and sandwiches. Everything on the menu is fresh. Salad options are especially well done and are as fresh as it gets. Local farm sourced meats and vegetables are featured and are frequently available. The atmosphere is like a relaxed fine-dining restaurant. Service has been outstanding! Very popular place. The venue is a nicely repurposed beautiful former 1915 inn. They do take reservations, which during typical dinner times, fill up quickly, so those are a must. Once in a while we luck out if just stopping by to check on the spot availability. However we usually find immediate seating if we make reservations avoiding typical dinner times. There is also a very nice new enclosed outdoor seating area. Parking is free and available, although can be a bit tight at their busy times. Handicapped accessibility is very good; multiple handicapped parking spaces are close. There is a wheelchair lift from the parking lot to the restaurant. The menu is artfully designed and executed. The kitchen is highly competent and hardworking, providing orders within reasonable waits. Everything on the menu is excellent. Portions tend to be large. An appetizer and a salad can make a whole meal. The short ribs entree is not to be missed. The pork chops are also a favorite entree. The full bar is very capable. The bar area is a very good seating option if tables aren't available. They offer creatively-done cocktails. Very good bourbon list, quite a number of favorites are included. Wine list is carefully curated and is well rounded. It's well worth a visit, and no kidding it will be a happy experience! We have been there many times and it's always been very good. It's tucked away on the west side of town, but it's not to be missed. Highly recommended!"

"We stayed at the hotel associated with this hotel and purchased a package which included dinner ( a set menu we learned that was to be same for both nights, good to ask ahead of time, but ok) reservation at 6, arrived at 6:05, yes we were late, waited for water/drinks till 6:35, salads finally arrived at 7:15 after ordering dinner when drinks arrived. Then told dinner would be out in 5 minutes and we suggested 10 so we could eat our salads. Mind you we had an 8 p.m. theatre to attend. Waiter was very nice, but seemed like all the rest to be all over the place, said he had to make the drinks himself as he could not find the bartender. Mind you they have a full bar. The salads left nothing to the imagination, very bland. Dinner finally arrived at 7:35. The portions are large. Can not say how the main courses are as we sent our dinner back, as we did not want to have to wolf down dinner in 15 minutes before walking to a theater. We asked for dinning room manager who never came over earlier. Others around us were waiting on their dinners/drinks. This place is NOT CHEAP. I would not recommend at all. I would go to the Ravine Wine Estates for dinner as we did the next night, It was Outstanding. To the credit of the hotel they did comp drinks/salad and take off the price of the meal from our package. We did not dine the 2nd night as was planned with our package, one bad experience and no face to face with a manager in what is to be a High End restaurant and hotel was enough for us. To many other great places to dine like the Ravine or Treadwell in this city."
