"As usual, we were asked to wait, and we settled into the waiting area. After 30 minutes, I inquired with the woman at the counter and discovered that our name had been crossed off the list. When I asked about it, she was unreasonably rude, claiming she had called us four times, which wasn’t true since we were seated just outside. Instead of offering an apology or seating us when the next opportunity arose, her demeanor was aggressive and dismissive. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but if that’s the case, she shouldn’t be working at the front desk.
Once we finally sat down for our lunch, the food was just average, and many of the food stations were empty. There was a noticeable delay in refilling the dishes, and it was particularly challenging to get the dosa and uttapam, as the kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Overall, the kitchen couldn’t keep up with the volume of customers, leading to a disappointing experience.
We voiced our concerns to the staff at the front counter regarding the shortage of food, but rather than addressing our complaints or offering assistance, they bluntly acknowledged the slow service and suggested that if we were unhappy, we shouldn't pay for the buffet. Given their popularity and longevity, they should be better equipped to manage the crowd and kitchen efficiently.
Ultimately, we left feeling unsatisfied. The food was merely okay, and I can't see myself returning anytime soon. However, as a small consolation, the owner graciously charged us for only one person instead of two on our way out, which was the only redeeming aspect of the visit."
