"My husband has been here before, but this was my first visit. He's from Philadelphia, and I'm from Pittsburgh, though we currently live in Fairbanks, Alaska. The experience was mixed; the cheesesteaks were delicious, but our second visit was disappointing. I ordered the antipasto salad, which was subpar—lots of iceberg lettuce, just one slice of tomato and cucumber, and no pepperoncini or artichokes. My husband got an Italian sub that came with mayo, which is unusual for that type of sandwich; he didn't ask for it, nor was it mentioned on the menu. Additionally, the prices have gone up since our last visit. The menu prices aren't what you'll actually pay—they have a notice in the shop, but it's unclear what the new prices are. It seems like there’s at least a dollar markup, so just be aware of that."

"2 months ago, I called to reserve space for my daughter's birthday party. When my boyfriend arrived with the cake on Saturday, they said they never confirmed with me so they cancelled the party. While I checked my messages and didn't have one, let's assume that part was on me (for purposes of argument). But the place was completely empty and when my BF asked if they could accommodate us anyway, given that they had no business there, they said no. When he asked if he could order several pizzas to go, they said they'd need at least an hour. So, they lost the business of 20 kids plus their parents that afternoon and lost my business permanently. Incredibly thankful for the pizza place in the Cherry Hill Mall food court who sprung into action and got everyone taken care of quickly and efficiently. They'll have my business permanently."

"I had a terrible experience with Empire pizza. I ordered a party-sized pizza with hamburger and bacon for over $27, tipped $5, and was shocked when I opened the box to find tiny crumbled pieces of what I think was supposed to be hamburger and bacon. I was too embarrassed to serve this to my guests and will never order from them again. I felt ripped off and won't be wasting my money on Empire in the future. Don't order delivery from them, or if you do, make sure to check the box before paying. I would have refused to pay if I had seen the pizza beforehand. They have lost me as a customer."

"I had the worst customer service experience ever. I waited over an hour for my food. They claimed they had arrived, but no one rang my doorbell. "Came here right at 8:00 a.m. on a Monday morning right when they open. the lady who greeted me said hi but she did not look particularly too happy It is a pretty lively and colorful cafe. Got loud music playing. it did take a while to make the banh mi. I assume it is fresh. Looks like they were setting up as well. I grew up during an era where banh mi cost 2 to $3 before it got super popular. These days they can run anywhere from $6-8 depending on where you buy it. It costs $11 here, but not too surprised by it based on the location. Saw good reviews on Google and yelp. So figure out give it a shot since I'm in the area For a cafe , they did you have a sign saying no Wi-Fi which is odd and a loss opportunity After you order you can self serve yourself with some water on the side. Banh mi itself is small for the price. Bread was nicely toasted which I do like. It was cut and presented nicely. Pork does not have a lot flavor. Too much pickled veggies for my liking. Has jalapeno pepper instead of the Thai pepper which has more heat. It is also missing patte and the secret sauce that makes an authentic banh mi a banh mi. Overall banh mi is ok if you REALLY wanted one. You will find more authentic banh mi in Dorchester and Randolph."
