"The drinks and food were equally impressive. I tried a pineapple margarita, which turned out a bit too sweet for my taste, so I asked Heidi if she could add a touch of lemon. She offered me the choice between lemon or lime, and I went with lime—great choice! I ordered the medium size, so if you choose that, just be sure you’re not the designated driver!
As for the food, it came out hot and perfectly seasoned. I had the Angel's Plate, which features chicken, steak, shrimp, and ground beef wrapped in a fried tortilla, served with a side of Mexican rice. I did expect the rice to be a bit more flavorful, but everything else was delightful. The tortilla was beautifully crunchy, and the meats were incredibly tender.
Their prices are moderate, but the flavors and service make it well worth it. They offer seating in booths, at tables, and at the bar. If you're planning to order an alcoholic beverage, they do adhere to identification protocols, so make sure to have your ID handy. I will definitely be adding Las Trojas Cantina to my list of must-visit restaurants whenever I'm in Huntsville!"
