"The dish I received was a ridiculously overpriced salad accompanied by a styrofoam coffee cup filled with overcooked nuggets that I can only assume were once meat. Considering the quality, it felt like a $25 Greek salad with some pita bread."

"I visit Alfredo's at least twice a month, and their chicken pasta dishes are simply outstanding! The prices are unbeatable, and the portions are always generous enough for at least two meals. I usually stick to the chicken dishes, especially the Chicken Venetian, while my friend is a big fan of the chicken parm sub. We've also enjoyed the steak tips for dinner and in salads. My boyfriend introduced me to Alfredo's in Medford over 10 years ago, and I can honestly say that we are consistently satisfied and impressed with our experiences! – MaryAnn John"

"Food was flavorful and fresh. The tacos taste good, they're not greasy. Their shawerma is delicious, and their protein servings are ?. Service was great, very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant was really busy at the time and the got my order correct, and the quality was excellent. The dining are and kitchen always look clean (thats important to me). Great experience overall. Would love to see more of this in the future."

"I absolutely love Mimi's Food! I order from them at least three times a week because I just don't feel like cooking after a long day at work. In fact, I plan to place an order as soon as I finish this review. Regarding the comment about the delivery person expecting a tip – that’s completely untrue unless you had your food delivered via Grubhub or Uber Eats. Thank you to everyone at Mimi's for the best food I've ever had!"

"I had the corned beef and pastrami combo with onion rings. Short version: It was good, and on a different day could possibly be a 5 star. Service will Melissa was really great. The long version: I couldn't give this place a 5 because my sandwich was room temperature. It was supposed to be hot. I would imagine that this was a kitchen problem. The quality for the price was pretty good, but needed to be executed better. My service was really good. A good veteran waitress for sure. The combo usually comes with chips and a pickle. I ordered the onion rings as an upgrade and they were an extra $2.50. I thought a pretty good amount of onion rings for $2.50. I would like to go back and check out the coffee bar and desserts. They had a few cheesecakes that looked really good."

"So we get here at 12 and barely opening up, site says open at 9 am.Finally takes our order while on his phone. So we ordered paid and came back 12 minutes later and still hasn’t even started 2 sandwiches. They are now bringing in grocery store purchased food. So maybe he didn’t have the ingredients to make 2 simple sandwiches, but could have let us know, but was to busy w his personal phone call to have the decency to let us know it will be 30 minute wait ?Ended up being 25 minutes for the basic sandwiches."

"I had a great time at this restaurant! We decided to come here after finding out that another place down the street, which claimed to be open, actually wasn't. The food was quite delicious. I ordered the corn-rib sandwich with pickles, and my daughter had a club sandwich. They offered combo options that included fries and coleslaw, but I wasn't very hungry, so we just had bottled water. The menu had many enticing choices, and I would love to return to try something else. Even though we live nearly 50 minutes away, the drive is definitely worth it for a good meal!"

"We've been ordering from this restaurant for years, and this is the first time I've had a negative experience. Usually, they are on top of their game, but our order tonight (Tuesday) was a complete disaster. We were feeling lazy and decided to go for delivery, which took over an hour to arrive. When it finally did, the food was cold—barely even warm. Additionally, they got part of our order wrong, but at that point, I felt it wasn't worth raising a fuss. I called the restaurant to express my frustration about the long delay, and the lady I spoke with was understanding and offered a compensation for our next order. I really hope this isn't a sign of things to come."

"Okay. ELIZA..... She makes a big difference in your store. My family and I ordered for years from y'all every Friday. And since Eliza was gone on leave, my orders have been good, noy many mistakes, but the waiting time was doubled every week. If they said 30 min, I waited 60. Still, that's okay. But I just want someone important there to realize for the first time in many months, last week and today our order was done within the 35 min time frame she gave us. I'm telling you, she makes a difference. All you are sweethearts and I know it's not a single person to blame but I gotta give Eliza her flowers bc I didn't have to sit outside and extra 20 or 30 min. But y'all hardly mess our orders up and if you do, it's bc my wife mumbles, that ain't on y'all. Lol. Seriously tho. Thank you all. But esp Eliza."

"The drive-thru service here is frustratingly slow, even when I was the only one in line and ordering just one item. They still made me pull up and wait for 15 minutes. I could understand if there was a line or if the parking lot had cars in it. The food quality seems to be inconsistent. I did enjoy the ribs, but I think the prices are too high for what you get, especially the tiny Styrofoam cups they use for sides. I couldn't believe the mashed potatoes and beans were only worth two bites each, although they did taste good. The curly fries they served me looked cold and sad, but I didn’t feel it was worth my time to complain. The corn on the cob and mac and cheese I ordered as extras were shockingly bad; I can't believe they even served them to me. I was disappointed because those items are usually hard to mess up, which suggests that the kitchen staff doesn't really care. As for the cod sandwich special offered on Fridays, forget it—McDonald's Filet-O-Fish tastes much better and is less expensive. On a positive note, the buffalo chicken wrap and coleslaw were great. Overall, this place feels like a gamble. I'm willing to give it a few more chances because the ribs were decent, but if I have another negative experience, I’ll say it's just not worth it for me. The Alsip location has the potential to be very popular if they could address these issues. Right now, it feels like I'm being shortchanged when I eat here. The prices could be acceptable if the food and service matched the cost."

"Hello, we are so grateful for Sal at Yorky's Elmhurst. He and the locals went above and beyond providing extreme service today. He delegated, reserched and resolved an issue we anticipated for a positive outcome! They are not only there to provide great meals for our families, but also service their community in other ways. Blessings are upon us all in today's challenges."

"Great place for date night! This was our second date night at this restaurant, and the experience was just as good as the first time. The atmosphere is paid back. The staff are extremely warm and friendly; they make you feel right home. That's all fine, but you're actually going to here for the food. Their pitas are slightly crispy on the outside, but warm and pillowy on the inside. I recommend the hummus. It has a nice creamy texture that pairs well with the pita. For an entree., you can never go wrong with the Lamb Gyro. It has that nice charred outside with a well balanced blend of spices. You must try their Garlic sauce with the Lamb; life changing. Anyway, try this place for yourself."

"I was craving Persian food badly specifically wanting a beef kabab kobideh rice plate. I googled restaurants nearby that I could stop by for dinner. I saw Stone Stew Grill and Bar among the list of restaurants in the area. I 've heard of the place before, and I remember it being recommended by one of my close Persian friends. My fiancé and I arrived at Stone Stew around 8pm on a Saturday night. We were dressed for a casual sitdown, but when we peaked through the window we saw that everyone was dressed to the nines. We reluctantly walked in, but we were warmly welcomed and led to an upstairs dining area. We realized that the bottom floor was reserved for a surprise party, which was wild by the way! We sat back, enjoyed the music (DJ was spinning traditional Persian party music), and watched the bottom floor get lit. Overall customer service was great. The food came out quickly, and our server was great. He was so nice, helpful, and attentive. We ordered a couple of entrees to share. Obviously the beef kabab kobideh with rice was a must. Since we were at Stone Stew, I figured we might as well try the Vakil Abad Mashhad Stone Stew. I heard it also being referred to as Dizi. If you ask me, nothing beats home cooked Persian food, but Stone Stew hit the spot! Everything tasted flavorful and amazing. The kobideh was exactly how I expected it to be, so I was highly satisfied. The Dizi was completely new to me, and we both were pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. We mashed the garbanzo beans, potatoes, and stewed meat, which made for a comforting, rich soup."

"We love this place. Last authentic Italiano restaurant around. Tony is the chef. He's knows his stuff. Family owned. Beautiful establishment. Kind, competent serving staff. Everything is super delicious. Penne Vodka, Tetrazzini, Penne Arrabiatta, Lobster Ravioli. Mushroom, Cauliflower, and calamari appetizer are fantastic. I could go on and on. Grazie Mille for the wonderful food and welcoming environment !!!"

"I wanna start saying that my husband and I we have our Mediterranean spot but we're always open to new options. So yesterday, was one of those time you're craving something so so bad that I guess we can't just wait to have it and it was a total disappointment.... When we arrived at the place we saw two couples of costumers, we went ahead and place an order on the outside screen. Now let's talk about the menu. It's so limited!! There's nothing like a mix of chicken or beef kabobs, it's either or, there's only one salad they don't offer tabule salad and it's one of my favorites I was hoping to get it). Once we placed the order after 20 min I stared looking around and the couples before us they still waiting. After 5 min later a lady comes out and tells us it's gonna take 20 minutes the good side of it it's fresh made) when we got our order nasty Garlic Fries there's no garlic at all on it, and the cheapest brand of frozen fries were so disappointing) and we got a Chicken kabob yes it has warm but no flavor on the Chicken, rice no flavor, the salad also no flavor the humus was ok but a stingy portion A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT as well! In resume no thank you and the cherry on the cake was the lady was looking at me weird. We'll stick to our to go place. -Food it's not tasty at all, over priced and small portions. -Wait time it's over an hour. -Good music"

"I was in the mood for roasted half chicken and chose Mediterranean cuisine as my option. I found this place nearby with outdoor seating (pet-friendly) and a parking lot. It met all my criteria for the day, as I could bring my chihuahua along. I ordered the 1/2 Greek style chicken ($15) and the House Specialty Greek style chicken ($15), which were essentially the same except for the side options. I chose the former with rice. Additionally, I ordered dolmadakia ($8), hummus ($7) with pita, and a chicken and beef kabob combo with added lamb. Each dish was generously portioned, and the chicken was particularly moist and delicious. The dolmadakia was truly one of the best I've had, especially when paired with the lemon juice."

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, the food is quite tasty, and the service is attentive and prompt. I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant for its authentic cuisine and great location. Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating significantly due to a serious issue. During my two visits, I witnessed a mouse running through the dining area on both occasions, first spotted by a friend and then personally observed. Additionally, I noticed mouse droppings on the bar counter, which was quite alarming and unsettling. I addressed my concerns with a staff member, who apologized, cleaned the bar, and mentioned that they were working to resolve the problem. It was clear they were aware of the rodent situation, which is troubling considering the visibility of the mice. As much as I used to enjoy the food here, I haven’t returned since. While I understand that pest problems can happen anywhere, I’ve never encountered such issues while dining out before."
