"Now, onto the food! We started with Yucca Fries, which were delicious, especially when paired with the sriracha aioli. My husband ordered lentils with rice and steak, which came with avocado slices and a whole fried sweet plantain. He raved about the steak and happily shared his meal with me, and I found the lentils and plantain to be perfectly cooked and seasoned.
I chose the shrimp and salmon with coconut sauce, accompanied by a yucca cake and broccoli. The shrimp were delightful (my husband particularly loved them), but the salmon, yucca cake, and coconut sauce were absolutely incredible. The salmon was cooked just right (a tad salty, but I easily overlooked that given how wonderful the whole dish was), the yucca cakes were perfectly seasoned and freshly boiled, and the broccoli was cooked just right. The sauce was simply amazing.
None of us could finish our plates; there was just too much delicious food on the table. We were tempted to order the bread pudding for dessert but were too full by the end of the meal. We will definitely be coming back!"
