"I order from over the phone all the time so I decided to come into the store and pickup instead of having it delivered the girl made me wait for a whole 45 minutes. White girl at the counter me black girl I think she wanted me to get brolic with her because of the wait. no I wasn’t but the food was for a friend she let me wait a whole 45 minutes and called my food out and gave me cold food on purpose then when I called and told her she was wrong all she could say was bring the food back and we’ll refund you or make it again no I shouldn’t have to that was disgusting and discrimination at its best! All the years I’ve ordered from here sad to say won’t be ordering from here any longer especially if they have a racist white person taking their food orders. Pictures of the cold food below and the chicken wasn’t even done this really hurt my heart because i really loved this place now I won’t be eating from here anymore ?"

"I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a newborn, making it 31 years now. My mother has been a regular for 45 years! The black and red beans are absolutely incredible! The special steak with onions is the best I've ever had. And the chicken with yellow rice is incredibly moist and fresh—definitely a must-try!"

"Very disappointing. The dining room was so hot. Manager said air conditioning was working at 70%. Fans everywhere. My quesadilla was boring and not tasty whatsoever. No salsa or dressing (had to pay more for this? . Crazy. Waiter was present for 6 of us from the Aberdeen up the street. When one asked for separate checks, he never answered her. Seemed incredibly annoyed. He did do separate checks, but who knew he would. Ridiculous service. He was less than professional. The drinks were marginal. Ice melted. We so wanted to support a local restaurant, but so very disappointing."

"The service was average and the decor was very nice...but the quality of food was a bit subpar. We had the golden chicken ramen with an extra side of pork belly along with the teriyaki salmon. The ramen was like chicken noodle soup with a thin broth. The egg was overcooked and...the side of pork belly was also overcooked. My Gordon Ramsey senses tell me that for something to be that hot yet that dry, with a rubbery texture where the outside perimeter is darker from uneven cooking..it was thrown in the microwave. (Think of when you cook leftover steak in the microwave for too long. Aside from that, the plate it was served on was just as hot as the side of pork belly that was sitting on it so they were obviously both in the microwave. Anyway, probably one of the top worst ramen bowls that I have had. The salmon teriyaki was good, but not enough for me to forget the disappointment of the ramen. Won't be trying this place again."

"We started with sushi appetizers, enjoyed a cocktail, and ordered hibachi entrées. When we requested water, we were offered a choice between tap and bottled options. While kosher dining can be quite pricey, this is to be expected, and the prices here are comparable to other kosher hibachi restaurants. Plus, you find the same or higher prices for kosher steak elsewhere. It was also nice to see the Mashgichim placing the meat directly on the hibachi grills. Typically, you don’t see the Mashgichim in restaurants, so it was reassuring to know they are actively involved in ensuring the proper handling of your meal. Given that hibachi is so entertaining for children, I hope they consider adding a children's menu. We had to order an adult meal for my child, but the leftovers will definitely be enjoyed tomorrow! Having moved to New Jersey from New York about two years ago, we have pretty high standards when it comes to dining, and I can confidently say that Takara did not disappoint!"

"Avoid this place. Service is terrible. Our order was wrong on 3 straight visits. Today was the final straw. They take your order for takeout but fail to mention.all the roads near them are closed for a car show, meaning you need to walk 1/2 mile or more to get to them (perfect for someone with arthritis in both hips). I get home and discover my wife 's salad is not in the bag and their response is you can come back and get it. Our last visit we ordered a pizza with sausage and we got a pizza with extra sauce. When we called that time we were told there was a miscommunication between the online app and the restaurant (even though our receipt from the online app very clearly said sausage) and again, no remedy or corrective action. They lost us as customers and hopefully this review will make many more people think twice before supporting this terrible business. "I visited the restaurant today around lunchtime, intending to order takeout before heading home. After waiting for 15 minutes while looking over the menu, a family walked in. They were promptly greeted by the staff and asked whether they would be dining in or taking out. Despite being there the whole time, I still hadn't received any acknowledgment. I watched as the waitress attended to them, but I remained unrecognized. Frustrated, I put the menu back and left. I will NOT be returning to this place."

"So we decided to go here over Don Jaun's because the last time we went to Don's I got Carne Asada Tacos and it really wasn't that good. So we decided to try this place because they had decent reviews. We got in and first off they put us right by the front door right where all the customers and waiters and waitresses are walking through. So the girl comes to take our drink orders she was really sweet and we also ordered a queso dip. While waiting for our app they bring chips and Salsa and the chips looked like they dumped the bottom of the bag into our basket. Then our app came out the queso was so runny we couldn't even scoop it up with any chips let alone the crumbles pieces we had it served better as beverage. So then another girl comes to take our order and she has her purse in her hand we were like where's our server? And I ordered the Rancheros and supposed to come with rice and beans and I got none of that just the 3 tortillas wrapped with meat that was it! We ordered my daughter 2 soft tacos and she only got 1. And her mother ordered Chimichanga with white sauce no red sauce and she got red sauce and said the food wasn't that good either she only ate 1 and no rice or anything else. Fortunately, my food was really good I just didn't get what I paid for no rice or beans so I wasn't happen at all! Then when it came time to pay there was nobody upfront to take mine and another customers payment. They stood there waiting about 10mins to pay and I waited about 8mins to pay. Overall it wasn't a great experience since we had like 3-4 waitresses we didn't get the food we ordered and just overall it's not enough to bring us back. I really don't think that management cares either because I looked at the reviews and not 1 reply from the owners or a manger from all their reviews and that shows they don't care. So save your time and your money and go somewhere else for a better experience. I don't recommend this place at all unless you want below subpar service and subpar food your better off going to Don Jauns less than 1\2 mile down the road. And we ended up spending about $43.00 and we left a 20% tip as well even though they didn't deserve it."

"**First Visit**: We visited on a Sunday at 6 PM for dinner, and the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. The server was incredibly friendly and highly recommended their Chicken Alfredo. We ordered our usual diner favorites: a farm omelette and sunny-side-up eggs with wheat toast. The kids opted for Chicken Alfredo, French toast topped with strawberries and whipped cream, spaghetti with meatballs, and chicken tenders with fries. We also indulged in their chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert, which we absolutely loved! The cake was so soft, and the server even brought over a whole bottle of whipped cream so the kids could add extra sweetness to their treats. We will definitely be returning!"

"My wife and I were really looking forward to dining at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we don’t think we’ll be coming back. The value just doesn’t match the price. We noticed several menus displayed around the restaurant with varying prices for lunch specials, and we ended up paying about three dollars more than we expected. The food was decent, but it was disappointing to find that the fried rice tasted like instant rice from the store. The highlight of our lunch was the fact that our jumbo shrimp meal came with only five small shrimp. We can’t be too hard on the cook, as one of the staff seemed more focused on her phone than on the customers while we waited."

"This man is extremely rude he doesn’t know how to talk to people. He don’t know how to take responsibility for the messed up order. The Stromboli was completely raw. the dough was not cooked at all literally as if was just heated in the microwave. He was upset because I had bite into it it to find out it was raw so he said I can’t get a refund this is not ok you don’t talk to people like they are dogs this is establishment which should be understanding of customers reactions and concerns regarding their hard work money going waste. "This restaurant offers the best and freshest pizza and salad I’ve had in ages. The crust was freshly baked and incredibly satisfying to bite into. The toppings were fresh, featuring vibrant green vegetables. Everything was made to order without much waiting time. The Greek salad was fantastic - much more than you would expect from a typical pizza place, with generous chunks of feta and plenty of extras. While the ambiance isn’t fancy, the food is definitely worth it, whether you choose to dine in or take out. I will definitely return!"
