"Every time I go in something wrong happens egg shells in my breakfast buffet on Sundays, and then when I can go in during the week for my usual, and I mean every time don't read what I ask for and yet always short me and nothing complimentary or nothing is offered to me, and one of the ladies their VERY VERY rude! Why is she even still their with how she speaks to customers I don't get it. But now the only reason why I go is cause of two of the staff ladies."

"The food here is absolutely top-notch. You won't regret that. All the servers I've had, but one has been amazing. There is a gentleman that serves that is non-existent and is more worried about gossiping with the girls than he is working and his customers. If you get someone beside him, you will absolutely love this place. Everything I've had here has been amazing. If you like something with a good spice to it, I recommend the El mezcal burrito. It's my favorite. When they are busy, though, for some reason, the guests here are extremely loud! To a point you can't talk to the people at your table."

"Got 2 gyros and the regular fries for $37 not including tip. We got there right at 8:30 and the person taking our order said that they close in 30 minutes, we asked if we should go somewhere else and they said “yea or take it to go” my husband asked if we could sit outside and they said “sure”. I felt bad so I said “we’ll just take it home, I’m sorry”. I’ve gotten this place delivered before and loved it but thought the prices were steep for the food. For the right atmosphere and environment, it would’ve been worth the price. Another customer came in after us and after being told that they’re closing soon, they also asked if they should go somewhere else and apologized for being there as well."

"Being vegan and in the area, my husband and I go here frequently. The tofu poke bowl is amazing. They use sushi rice, so it’s nice and sticky…not just plain white rice. It’s not as “vegetable-y” as it sounds either. So many nice flavors and textures. The vegan gyro is also amazing. They have impossible patties, vegan cheese, and vegan aioli, so sometimes I craft a personalized burger for myself- they are always accommodating. The fries are vegan and delicious. On Thursdays during the summer, they do “Dinner on the Dock”…live bands, etc on their outdoor patio right on the Rock River. They’re also on DoorDash."

"I'm on vacation and searching for a great breakfast spot! This place has a wide variety of options. I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did—I visited twice, and both times the food and service were excellent! The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely stop by again; the omelettes look fantastic. I ordered the fiesta burrito with added ham, and it was served piping hot and bursting with flavor. "We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident while driving from Houston to Corpus Christi. My husband ordered a Hinze burger, which was unfortunately disappointing. The Bar B Q sauce had soaked into the bun, the meat was overcooked, and the onions were undercooked. I saved the burger by sharing some of my delicious meatloaf to put on it. For my lunch special, I had meatloaf with fried okra and blackeyed peas with ham bits. It tasted like it was made in someone's grandmother's kitchen - fresh and delicious. The meal came with a piece of homemade bread with real butter, which was a nice touch. The meatloaf was perfect, with just the right amount of onion and bell pepper. It was a thick, generous slice that could have been split and served with extra sides. The meatloaf held together well and had a tasty sauce on top, possibly bar b q. We also took a piece of pecan brittle to go, which was perfect - buttery, with a satisfying crunch. The service was self-serve, with food brought out to the table and drinks and refills obtained by the customers. We would definitely stop by again if we are in the area."

"I got a classic cheese burger. The toppings and condiments were all fine. The burger actually looked good aesthetically. However and much to my dismay, the taste of the burger meat was not good. It was edible but weirdly seasoned. In my opinion, a plain hamburger meat with salt and pepper would have been better than whatever seasoning mix Loose Caboose is using. Their mini corn dogs were good though. 2 stars is for the disappointing burger. In fairness, I didn't bring up the food taste to the restaurant so I didn't give them a chance to make me something else. My thoughts leaving were I should of just stayed home and cooked for myself."

"I came to this location this Mother’s Day alone. I guess I didn’t look like a big enough fish as they had a person that seemed as if they did more of the table clearing not that I have a problem with it it was just very apparent when they noticed that I figured out that I was brushed off for better opportunities. Have you ever had someone know what they have done wasn’t cool so they start looking for anything to complement you in this case my wallet is what she said was cool well 15 mins ago it wasn’t. "A bit pricey but not bad. I saw they had a sign about questioning why fast food is so cheap vs why quality food is so expensive lol. Each time I paid about 20 for the food for pickup. I've had the parm wings and the Dusse wings with fries. I wasn't a fan of the wings. I did order a parm burger with fries and the burger was succulent. The food is fresh, made to order and very visible as you wait. They moonlight as a speakeasy and they have happy hour from 4 11 every day. There are some dining tables beyond the door with a DJ booth and a small garden all the way in the back. I did have a frozen tequila cocktail as well. They have comedy nights on Wednesdays and weekend brunch from what I was told."

"First time stopping in to Sonney 's. Food was spectacular and the place has a great vibe. I had the Combo Platter w/ brisket, beef ribs, loaded baked potato, side salad and jalapeño cornbread! So much food...definitely could share this between two people easily. My only reason from dropping this down from 5 to 4 stars was the hostess that sat us. She was less then friendly and never asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. She just grabbed a couple menus and said this way ...led us to a table put the menus down and walked off. I watched her do this with a few other parties as they arrived also. Maybe she was just having a bad day but that first impression goes a long way. Other than that the staff were wonderful. Our waiter was great! For the food the ribs were pretty good...not overly meaty but decent. The brisket was perfect and the baked potato was a good size without being too large. Nice little side salad and a great jalapeño cornbread. They have four different bbq sauces at your table; a Carolina sauce, a sweet smoky sauce, the Original sauce and something they call the Burn Your Butt sauce (I stayed away from that one!! . My other recommendation would be to request no sauce on your meats. They came with some sauce on them but I would prefer to try the different sauces without mixing them together. Will be eating leftovers for a couple days. Again I recommend sharing a platter unless you are very hungry or want lots of leftovers!!!"
