We had a great time at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal! The vegan gyro was delicious. The BBQ pulled pork was also a hit, and my friend raved about her Reuben sandwich. The sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked - hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Just the right amount of seasoning too!

Menu is good. Something for everyone, prices are ok. Service is good. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Rockford. They have changed their house Chardonnay though, they used to have the best house wine in town. Now it’s awful and tastes worse than box wine. I wish whoever is in charge of the wine selection would step up their game.

The food and drinks were enjoyable, but the customer service could use some work. We intended to order the Japanese fried chicken, but were served the Korean chicken with fried rice instead. We were told by the waitress that this was a common choice among customers, but it was not what we had asked for. Although the bill was discounted, I believe the situation could have been handled better, with more involvement from the manager.

While visiting Rockford, my Daughter brought me to Prairie Street Brewing for dinner. For an appetizer, I had the Irish Egg Rolls. For our entrées, I had the Drunken Cuban Melt. My Daughter had the Grilled Shrimp Tacos. For a beverage I had the house made Root Beer. Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. Our lovely server was Grace. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. She took care of our every need. Looking forward to dining here again. View menu

Met some family at the brewery, and came from a distance. The beers and drinks were very good. We ordered the cheese curds and those were delicious! However, I ordered the fish and chips, the fish was mushy (obviously frozen, huge red flag) and the fries were WAY too salty. And not like, just a little too salty, but beyond disgusting salty. Really awful. I give 4 stars because the other dishes ordered were good (ok), but those fries, borderline dangerous with the salt put on them.

This restaurant is located in a cool old building and has a spacious interior with neat views, especially in the summer. The food is good and reasonably priced, and the beer selection is also good. The service was attentive. I tried the Fish Potato Wedges, which are a house specialty and came in a generous portion. The wedges were terrific, but the breading on the Cod could have been improved by frying it longer at a lower temperature or less at a higher temperature. It was flavorful but a bit soft and mushy. My wife enjoyed her Cuban Sandwich and also loved the potato wedges. The standout of the meal was definitely the potato wedges. I was impressed with the house IPA and plan to bring home... Checked out this brewery in Rockford located in a historic building. It's one of the hot spots around here. Prairie Street is easy to find because you know what street it's on. Has a ton of beers to choose from. There's also food including the unexpectedly good choices of poke bowls and other stuff. After looking up good places to go, we came here. If you like history then you'll love it. This building was the home of a brewery in the 1800s that closed a long time ago, and now it's being reused. A ton of beers to get. It's about $7 a pint. A lot of these are seasonal, which means you have to come back. The best one of these we had was the Peach Wheat. Smooth and not too fruity. The food was...

We walked here from the BMO Center on Saturday November 11. It was bout a 15 minute walk. We were going to the Toby Mac/Mercy Me/Zach Williams concert. When we arrived about 4:45pm there was a 45min 1 hour wait. We put our name in and were told it we wanted to go to the bar on the lower floor and have a drink we could do that. The bar was pretty crowded but we found a place to sit at the bar. We were given drink food menus. We found out we could eat at the bar so we decided to do that. We then took our name off the list upstairs. I had a Vanilla River beer very good. My husband had the Munich Dunkel and Prairie Street IPA. He liked both of them. I had the Pulled Berkshire BBQ pork with a fru...
