"I used to visit their other locations frequently. They reopened this location last year, and I was so happy to see that. As I had visited their previous location and the food quality was pretty good. I was just worried if their quality would go down now when they reopened. But honestly it was the same, or maybe even better. We ordered few sharable plates and were pleased with everything that we had ordered. We got Samosa, aloo papri chaat for appetizers. We ordered the palak paneer, malai kofta and paneer tikka along with some tandoori garlic naan and rotis. Everything was great, and they will adjust the spices/salt if you ask. Earlier in their previous location, I tried hariyali paneer and that was my favorite! We ordered way too much in the excitement of trying out multiple dishes lol. They even gave us complimentary rice with our left overs. Clean, tasty, professional and great Indian restaurant!"

"Ask to sit in Sonny’s section. He is so helpful in making suggestions explaining the different dishes if you aren’t familiar with them. Also, the food is amazing. We were definitely not disappointed in anything we had."

"This has quickly become one of my new favorites. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Most importantly, the food is delicious and served in generous portions. The heat level is just perfect; the spices enhance the dishes without overpowering them. I highly recommend trying the Minerva Special Chicken and the Lamb Korma."

"We were greeted on the door by a energetic young man Malik Arjun who seated us right away. We had gone there at an odd time of 230 pm. He helped us pick what to order. He even brought us appetizers for free since they were wrapping up the buffet. He ensured that our food was made quickly and delivered promptly. So he gets 10 on 10 on service. Now talking about the food, It was on point... delicious and flavorful. We ordered Mysore masala dosa, Utpam, Goat Sukha with Naan. All the items were excellent. Peanut chutney very yum. Sambar could have been hotter. Missed coconut chutney. The place was clean, appropriately decorated and seemed reasonably well maintained. I found out that the owners were software engineers and were doing this on the side. The lady (owner) was professional and very good to talk to. We also bought some sweets and pastries to eat at home. Haven't tried them yet. Overall, I would say excellent experience. We were hungry and have high standards for food and this place delivered."

"really a first class Indian restaurant. when entering the restaurant they get a feeling of high-end modern with rich Indian culture in the facility. the main dining area is beautiful with colorpops on the individually designed wall paintings on the walls. there is a very cool and intimate private space from the main dining area, which is a real original train car converted into an escaping area. it is worth a look and would be ideal for business meetings or for couples looking for a romantic culinary experience. we had no chance to hang around the bar, but can't wait without leaving the kids. they have made an impressive renovation in the living/bar area and is simply beautiful. I have eaten from the buffet and a la carte menu and both were made of high quality ingredients and recipes. delicious! the buffet had many options with a lot of vegetarian and meat choice. my favorites were the chicken ktikka masala and lamb curry. also the goat,- samosa and rice options were amazing. from the a la carte menu we have a garnel dish that was from this world. we also ordered a grilled chicken dish that came out with a flame presentation. children loved it! the seasoned were exactly right and not exaggerated the taste at all. I was hesitant to bring my children with them, because they are not very adventurous, but even my very picky 6 years old was impressed by the grilled chickenmalai (based grilled chicken without a spicy) and of course the garlic naan (the best I had). he made us laugh and made sure that we enjoy our culinary experience. I recommend this restaurant for families, dates, groups and even business meetings. I look forward to the return flight!"

"This is possibly the worst Indo Chinese food I have ever had in the US. The Manchow Soup, whether vegetarian or chicken, is basically just a soup of red chilies that is extremely hot and spicy with no vegetables or noodles. Eating this soup will almost certainly give anyone diarrhea. The Golden Chili Baby Corn is also disappointing, as it is only made with red chili paste and the baby corn is very hard, lacking in flavor and tasting only like chili. I ordered Chicken Noodles or Schezwan, but received fried rice that was excessively spicy with only chili flakes and chicken that tasted old and stale. I feel like my $50 was completely wasted. Despite its high ratings, this restaurant serves the worst Indo Chinese food. I will never order from here again and will not be returning. They are simply taking advantage of people with their poor quality and truly unhealthy food."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"Took my sister in law for her birthday. Her first experience having high-tea service. She loved it. We told our server it was her birthday and he brought out a small bowl of ice cream with a candle on a big plate that said Happy Birthday. She loved the tea she chose so much that she bought some for herself to take home. Everything was delicious. This is a great tea place"

"To our surprise, the ambiance here was stunningly refined and classy, which is likely why it wasn't overly crowded during lunch. The classic tea service table settings were beautiful. Although we didn't order tea, the food options were impressive, reasonably priced, and ultimately very enjoyable. The Waldorf salad was fantastic, and I particularly appreciated the classic tea service that featured four types of sandwiches. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be on the lookout for a similar spot closer to home."

"Chado's is a really nice place for lunch with friends. I have had many wonderful meals there with family and friends. I especially like the smoked salmon panini and the chicken tikka masala. They have a vast selection of teas. I especially enjoy the Butterscotch, as well as the Birthday tea, and the Vivaldi tea. In addition, their Afternoon Tea Service is delicious. I highly recommend Chado's."

"a beautiful restaurant. not full, but the service was a little slow. but everyone was super friendly. eating was good, but there is an Indian restaurant in the opposite where we live (muyuri indian bistro,) that I feel is more attractive to our palate. therefore I cannot call this the best Indian restaurant in connecticut. not at all. I have to say very expensive. everything in everything, good restaurant, but not blown away"

"The food was truly terrible—I've had pre-packaged meals that tasted better. We ordered for a New Year’s party and a few items were incorrect, so we went back to the store. The person there said quite bluntly that there are no standards and that everyone has their own way of making food. I would strongly advise against going here. Another customer behind us chimed in, agreeing that the food was awful, but the manager was incredibly rude to him. I really don't understand how this place is still in business. I definitely won't be returning."
"Beautiful dining room and ethnic decoration. Delicious food and friendly service. Bhartha, $15, is a sweet creamy dish of roasted eggplants. Chicken Achari, $16, is a tomato pure curry with acidic, sweet and spicy flavors that are increased by grounded pepper cone. Both are unique and delicious. The owner is helpful to explain the menu and the dishes that make it great experience."

"Very disappointed with the customer service I was given by one of the ladies who works there . She was very rude and disrespectful to me . There was a miscommunication on there end regarding something I had ordered . I never said anything to them except told them I they gave me something else than what I ordered. The lady came to me and confronted me and accusing me of something I didn’t say . It’s on their end they had a miscommunication. I am really disappointed at the way I was treated so disrespectfully. I really liked their food but very sad and disappointed on how I was treated . She should be trained on how to talk to a customer and how to treat a paying customer."

"Three adults and 2 picky children had a wonderful Saturday/Birthday lunch here. The service was good, the food flavorful and prepared exactly as requested (due to children 's tastes). The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. I 've had far worse that cost far more. We will be returning on our next visit to Atlanta. Update, two months later... This has become our 'go too ' restaurant for Indian food when we are visiting our daughter. This is a small and cozy eatery with an uncommonly friendly and helpful serving staff (I wouldn 't be surprised to learn they are all members of the owner 's family). On the Saturday afternoon we visited, we were the only customers when we arrived. The server noticed we had our 4 year old granddaughter with us and immediately changed the music from the tradition Indian fare that normally plays, to children 's tunes. This is a small detail, but it was an endearing moment. As a side note, when other diners began arriving we gave our server a head nod and he returned the sound system to the traditional music. When it was time to order we were given advice and guidance toward menu items that complemented each other. When the food arrived it was delicious. The restaurant makes many of it 's condiments on site, and they wonderfully enhance the flavors of the already excellent food. Our daughter, who works in the veterinary clinic a few doors down, had added this to her list of 'once a week ' lunch spots. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any one interested in trying Indian for the first time or the hundredth time."

"I’m sorry to say that my recent visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing compared to my previous experiences. The soup was overly oily and reminded me of store-bought tomato sauce rather than a homemade dish. The summer salad, which featured walnuts and apples, was lacking; it had no chicken or dressing and was mostly just a pile of lettuce. The salmon toast was exactly as described—just salmon on toast. The golden monkey tea was probably the only thing I mildly enjoyed, if you can even call it that. While afternoon tea is meant to be a leisurely experience and a wait is expected, what my husband and I received felt more like an insult than a treat. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially since I used to love this place. I’m not sure I’ll return in the future."

"Beautiful atmosphere, love the fireplace and the chandeliers. Amazing food—and most of the menu is gluten free! They do a great job labeling gluten free options as well.
