"I purchased this for my adult son. Everything was fresh and looked and smelled great. I ordered extra meat in the Chimi Steak Wrap. My son like the Chimichurri Sauce a lot. But he said it needed a lot more sauce. That the bottom of the wrap was a lot better because the sauce settled at the bottom. Im sure I would have liked the Green Glow Bowl. But I paid for Roasted Potatoes. And they looked and tasted like boiled potatoes. My was not impressed with them."

"We have visited twice and this second time has ensured we will not be back. It 's a shame because we enjoy the option of a healthy meal which can be found at these establishments. The first time was on a weekend after a race. The store was quiet at the time we visited, the gal was nice enough. However, they forgot my husband 's drink until he returned to the counter to ask for it. Keep in mind, we were the only people there and the drink he ordered was one that is dispensed right behind the counter. Give people their drink before they walk away, after they 've paid. No big deal. That didn 't bother us too much. This second time we visited was a Tuesday afternoon after my husband had some dental work. He was hungry and we thought we 'd stop in. When we walked in, once again, we were the only people there. The girl at the front was nice after she was done looking at something (can 't remember if it was her phone . She took our order with earbuds in both ears (cmon managers, you can teach people the basics of customer service which is leave your personal items in the back and no headphones!!!!! . I ordered a bowl with gluten free granola. She informed me that they had just the slightest bit left and I said I guess I would take it. Instead of adjusting the price since I wasn 't getting the full serving of something or offering a free add on, I was just charged full price. We proceeded to wait 20minutes for 2 bowls!!!! We were the only people in there besides a lady who came to pick up an order which was late getting to her. She was not a happy customer either. There were at least 3 employees there. I could see them dancing and having a grand ol time in the back. When they were out front one person acknowledged that our food was on its way . Shortly thereafter we received our bowls to-go which we did not ask for. But that 's okay. Why eat somewhere where you are totally annoyed by the quality of service you 've received? Needless to say, we will not bother with going out of our way to come to this location."

"This is now my go-to spot for post-work delivery. I get off at 7 o'clock and this is one of the few places open early enough for me to order from. The menu offers a fantastic selection of healthy options that leave me feeling satisfied but not too heavy before bed. I recently tried the powerful Mediterranean salad, dragon smoothie, green bowl, and free lemon walker shot, all of which were incredible. I can't wait to try more items on the menu! I wish I had taken a picture of the food before devouring it, but trust me, if you haven't tried this place yet, you must!"

"We were in the mood for some vegetables and decided to order salads along with a smoothie. Making a tasty salad isn't difficult, yet both of the salads we received committed several serious mistakes. The kale was curly leaf and completely unprocessed—no massage or preparation at all. It was just a massive pile of kale with stems. The dressing was poorly executed, appearing broken (unemulsified, possibly frozen), with a layer of congealed oil floating on top of plain vinegar. The dressing for the spinach salad suffered from the same issue. It felt like very low effort was put into these dishes. Fortunately, the abundance of greens earned them an extra star. As for the smoothie, it was bland and lacked both body and some of the ingredients that were supposedly included. On the first sip, it tasted icy, which is disappointing for a $10 smoothie that shouldn't contain ice."

"This is what a proper green bowl should look like! I recently reviewed the Vitality Bowl in Santa Clara and expressed my disappointment about how my green bowl was prepared; it was missing the extra bananas I had requested. However, when I visited the Sunnyvale location this morning, I was pleased to receive a beautifully crafted and delicious bowl. The gentleman who served me provided excellent service, clearly took pride in making my bowl with care, and had it ready for me in no time. I highly recommend the Vitality Bowl in Sunnyvale over the one in Santa Clara."

"I'm not sure what's happened recently, but my last few orders have been inconsistent. For the same order, the base has varied a lot, which is quite noticeable. They even gave me the wrong bowl once. I requested "extra" granola, but there wasn't enough, so I had to add more myself. Additionally, I've noticed that they are serving less in the container now. I really hope they can get things sorted out because I used to love this place."

"Ok you want to eat healthy but don’t want to chew on sad tasteless food?I just picked up a few of the “Grab and Go” meal from this place to test it out. You will not be eating sad tasteless food.The store has a refrigerator full of different options: fish, meat, chicken, veggie (vegan I think) and some breakfast perishables.I calculated cost. Taking time and money into consideration, eliminating the need to do my own meal prepping is more cost effective. Also...I attempted to make this meal (Tilapia) it would not be as flavorful and 100% dry. I just zapped the container into the microwave and it was tender and delicious. I will keep a few meals at work and so excited to not have to do my own meal prepping. The nutrition breakdown is listed for the options online. Yes to all of this...!Note:If you pop in and grab something you get the same meals as you do when you order ahead of time...you just pay a tiny bit more and you get what they have. If you want specific stuff...order by Friday and pickup as early as Sunday and delivered as soon as...I forget but I think Saturday.The people who work at this place are: nice, good listeners, knowledgeable, patient...and very helpful.If not for anything else the staff is 100% worth checking this place out."

"After waiting an additional 10 minutes with no updates, I realized I was running late for work. I asked if I could get a refund since it seemed like my food was far from being ready. The staff member said he needed to check with the owner because he wasn’t authorized to issue refunds. A few minutes later, the owner appeared, and I started to feel frustrated. She informed me that the panini was done and asked if I wanted to take it. I agreed but also requested a refund for the smoothie. Once again, she went back to the register and said they were just blending the smoothie and could I wait one more minute? At this point, I decided to just take the panini and leave for work. It was really frustrating that getting a refund was so complicated. It felt like they were trying to distract me and buy time instead of respecting my time. I had already mentioned that I needed to leave, and they only started working on my order when I physically arrived at the store. I felt taken advantage of. While it’s possible they were trying to help, it seemed like they were using diversion tactics until my food was ready, despite me asking for a refund multiple times. I’m considering trying a different location for Vitality Bowls because the food itself is great."

"Horrible experience. Employees unprofessional and customer service was terrible. Came in on a Sunday morning to the Brentwood, CA location last weekend (5/10/23) it was only me and my boyfriend there. Had to wait until someone finally came out of the back to take our order, which took 5 minutes, took our order and we waited patiently 10 minutes for one small smoothie and a juice. We checked in on it but all 4 employees were in the back room just talking amongst themselves not making any orders, or coming out to let us know a timeline. There weren't any doordash orders either or anyone picking anything up. So it was just ours to make. We asked again how it was coming along 15 minutes later and had to wave them down in the back and they brushed us off, to take 5 new peoples orders that had just come in instead of finishing ours. Then one of the female employees came out and asked to take our order -she didn't know anything about our order we had been waiting for the entire time or what we were talking about. So we asked for a refund, thinking they'd give us the drinks for free after all of that, and they hadn't even started making them and said we didn't get the drinks and did not apologize for any of the inconvenience or lack of customer service. Super disappointed. Never going back."

"On Sunday, November 23rd, we were returning from Napa towards San Jose, deciding to have lunch at San Rafael. We ordered koobideh kobabs, grilled chicken, chicken kebab, and chicken koobideh kobab.After twenty about an hour, the waiter brought the food, but some dishes were forgotten. When we pointed it out, he didn't apologize, stating they are confused and short-staffed.“After an hour ? How come? No excuse?”I said.The food quality: The koobideh kebab was a bit tough and dried , and the rice was undercooked. The chicken had cooled, and there was solidified oil in the dish. The chairs and tables were dirty, and there weren't enough utensils; we had to ask for disposable ones.We had a bad experience, and if I could, I would give a negative rating."

"**WARNING: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!** I had a terrible experience at this restaurant that ruined my day. I placed an online order at 11:21, and the system adjusted the pickup time to 11:50. Waiting half an hour for a cold wrap is absurd, but I went along with it. I arrived around 11:43 and was greeted by what can only be described as a poorly kept establishment. The only thing that seemed clean were the windows, being scrubbed by an outside cleaner. A young man came out of the kitchen four times and completely ignored the customers waiting in the lobby (including myself and five others). I was unaware that I was supposed to ring a doorbell at the counter just to get service. After finally receiving my incredibly complex order of two wraps, it was 13 minutes past the promised completion time, making it 42 minutes from when I placed the order. When my long-awaited lunch finally arrived, it was handed to me in a rude manner without a word spoken. Opening the bag was a complete letdown; the meat was at the bottom, the rice on top, and the wrap had been folded incorrectly, causing the ingredients to remain totally separate. Not only is this place disappointing, but it also appears that the staff lacks basic competency. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place – it’s nothing short of self-punishment."

"What frustrated me the most was that while I was waiting for my açaí bowl, the staff seemed more focused on a photo shoot than on serving the only paying customer in the restaurant. When I finally received my bowl, I expressed my disappointment to the manager, who apologized and explained that the person preparing the bowls had been taken away for the shoot. With both the manager and the owner present, I expected them to prioritize the needs of paying customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. Not only did I endure an unusually long wait, but the flavor of the bowl was bland and underwhelming. Overall, it was a very negative experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place."
