"Horrible service, I wanted to switch up my coffee and try Peet’s other than my usual Starbucks. Granted I just started a new office job in the area, so why not. The first time I went, they were busy and I understand, I worked retail for years before now. So the second time I went, I saw they had a new item than the first time. I ordered the item with my coffee and I’m waiting for 5 or more minutes until a lady walks in and the only lady there with braids started conversing about an item they have back in stock. She told the lady your boss should give you a raise. I’m still waiting, I have 5 mins before I start work. And low and behold she gave this lady my sandwich. I wasn’t sure until the cashier who cashed me out say after 5mins, “I’m sorry we don’t have that item anymore or I would have to go downstairs and check” I was in disbelief, because I’m not a regular I was treated like my money had no value. The lady with the braids is being completely quiet and not saying a word. Knowing after I placed the order she put the sandwich in the oven. I said I wished I would’ve known when ordering because I don’t have time to wait. The cashier, you can tell was shocked, he also gave me a refund. FYI: I could’ve been your number one customer. I love coffee, however, I love great customer service too, whether I’m a regular or passing through randomly. It’s the experience for me. Treat everyone with kindness. It’s COFFEE who isn’t happy!!"
